They responded to my email the next morning and we spoke by phone that day to schedule an appointment. We initially had to reschedule due to illness but they were very cooperative. All in all, things went very well! I expected the work to take a few hours and it was completed in an hour. I was quite pleased and would use them again.

The technician traced the previous two risers that hold the stair treads on. The replacement treads are adequate.They are not as flush as I would like against the risers, this is probably due to tracing the replacement risers by using the old ones as a template. At least one of the treads is partially warped. Initially some of the threaded type screws did not catch correctly into the risers, but the technician did come back and correct this. I am glad that threaded type screws were used instead of nails to attach the treads. We had the bulkhead stairs done because of a previous project of needing the cement redone inside the bulkhead area. The previous stairs could not be completely salvaged due to the nails used, which is not a good way to attach them. The railing outside our slider is working out just fine, the previous one started rotting, because it was pine.

tI was happy with the work that was done in 1 hour. Unfortunately, my work was scheduled to be done at 8am and the technician who was supposed to come to my house called in sick at 8am and they were not able to get another person to come to my home until ~12:30pm which caused me to need to wait around until they told me at 11:50 that someone would be at home within 30 minutes. Despite this, I would definitely use them again.

Showed up to quot on and said would get back to me with estimate. No estimate was ever received. Total wast of my time!

They were a little more expensive than other people that we got quotes from. We did not have them do anything. I think that their quote was close to $4,000 to $5,000. I do not want to give them a bad review or a good review. They were just in the middle. We would not use them again in the future because we moved from that area.

Service provider showed up on time, performed jobs efficiently and left the work areas clean. Would recommend the company and use them again.

I am so grateful I found Steve and his crew on Angie's List. Everyone has their fair share of horror stories when dealing with contractors and many of these guys can peg your stress meter before they even show up at your house - IF they even show up. I spent the entire summer calling an endless stream of contractors friends had suggested for work I needed done in order to sell my house. It was always the same - my phone calls never returned, plans to meet and they never showed up or called to say they couldn't come, ridiculous quotes that even I, knowing nothing about this business knew I was being taken for a ride. Needless to say it had been an incredibly frustrating and defeating process. And then I met Steve. He completely shatters every negative stereotype that exists about contractors today. He returned my phone calls and emails promptly. He showed up on time, every time and so did his crew who performed the work. He also knows his job and knows it well, answering all of my questions directly with comfort and ease (the type of response that sends your hackles back down because you know you're dealing with someone who is honest and has integrity). I was also facing a tight deadline to get this work completed. Steve understood the pressure I was under and went above and beyond to accomodate my schedule, rearranging his in the process, so he could be there to do the work on a day that worked for me. And his crew did a fantastic job! Again, they showed up on time, every time and completed the work on two separate days. His staff are friendly and efficient and I felt completely comfortable leaving them alone to do their work while I ran errands. And when they left for the day, you would never have known they were there because they left my house spotless. Who knew a new window and bathroom ceiling could be such a thing of beauty but they both look AMAZING! Their level of detail, from the installation, the trim work, the painting...I can't believe the difference. I stand in my living room like an idiot just staring at my new window and then I head up to the bathroom to just stare at my ceiling. And I think partly because I'm crazy like that, but more so because there is such a sense of relief in having found a skilled, reliable and honest contractor to work with who has fair prices and works within your budget. They will definitely be my first phone call for all future work. I couldn't be happier with their service and the quality of their work.

He got it working again. I would them again.

The first time the guy was about an hr late. The second time the guy showed up within the 2hr window. Both gentlemen were very friendly and professional. Both tried to save me money. While other companies might try to soak you with extra labor, these guys told me various options to save money, which I greatly appreciate. Also neither had a problem with my 2 kids or 2 dogs running around the house while they worked. Last time the guy was even extra quiet because my 2yr old was sleeping upstairs. It is the little things that make a great handyman. Also the quality of work they do has exceeded my expectations. I have used them multiple times and will continue to use them for future work. I would recommend them to anyone.

Very. Mike showed up on time at 8. He took me to Home Depot for the new door and hardware. He installed the exterior door first and then shower door. He didn't waste time on either project. He did a good job with both. He left around 12:30.

They have done a lot of small jobs in the past and they do a great job. They were very friendly and on time for the job. They were very responsive and came quickly, as soon as I called. They are fairly priced and do a quality job. I like their services and will use them even to do any big projects, if they agree.

I liked everything about him. We had a hard winter in Essex County, and the stairs went through, in flying colors. He was prompt and efficient. He was competent and had a good humor. I think the price was a little steep, but still within the limits of being reasonable. He had a high-standard punctuality and professionalism. I will certainly give him a call if I had a job that I couldn't handle myself. My overall experience with him was excellent.

All of the work performed was done in a professional and expedient manner. They were flexible to work around my schedule. It is evident that they each took great pride in their work by the way they paid attention to detail and cleaned up efter themselves. Although none of the crew ever needed supervision, the manager was often on site to ensure all the work was to standard (both their's and mine). It was truly a pleasure to have work done by dependable and thorough workmen, who were also pleasant to talk to and mindful of what my expectations were!

WANTED ESTIMATE: THE WORK, TIME, AND MATERIAL. WAS SKEPTICAL, BUT I HAD THEM COME OUT TO DO SOMETHING SMALL AND TALKED TO THE TECHNICIAN ABOUT THE BATHROOM AND DECIDED TO USE THEM. THEY ACTUALLY KEPT THE APPOINTMENT, PROFESSIONAL AND NEAT. THEY RETURN PHONE CALLS AND WORKED VERY HARD. DID NOT MILK THE JOB. GUARANTEE ALL WORK AND THE BATHROOM LOOKS BEAUTIFUL!
