Description of Work: I used them for clearing snow off the roof. The price was probably fine, but it was significantly higher than I paid the previous year. I would use them again. Very professional, very punctual and they did a great job.

Description of Work: We used Len Gibley to replace our gutters, and they did a very nice job. Rep was great and the crew was great. Only challenge was the scheduling the work. We sent in the deposit and then did not hear from the company for a few weeks, but ultimately the work was done in the timeframe assoicated with the original quote. Highly recommend

Description of Work: Len Gibely Contracting repaired a second floor deck that had be damaged by last winter's storm. They gave a very reasonable quote to do the job. They performed the work sooner that we had anticipated which was great. Some extra damage was discovered when the deck was taken apart and the cost of the extra work was also very reasonable. They explained everything they needed to do clearly and did the work quickly. It looks good. I would definitely hire them again.

Description of Work: Put in a second egress window. It was a complicated project due to unexpected water table problem. The problem was resolved using another company to install an external pump. Many opinions were obtained from different sources including the town to see what the best resolution was. There were a lot of delays. The ultimate window looks good. The plastic protector only protects to a certain height then I had to put in another plastic sheet to deter rain and snow.

Description of Work: Overall the re-roofing went well, and I have no complaints regarding the work completed. Unfortunately, they number of nails, and entire strings of nails left on the yard was excessive. I can understand a few nails being missed during cleanup, but there were 2 complete stings of nails left on the yard (right next to my kids swing set), and a couple dozen nails left in the yard around the house. This is concerning simply because I have three children who love to play in the yard. Len Gibley did not use a magnetic nail cleaner that I have seen used on other properties to clean up.

We always make it a point to clean up after all our jobs - you can see from several other reviews that this is the case. Unfortunately human error does come into play at times such as this but we would have been more than happy to come back out and clean up for you. Description of Work: Len Gibely Contracting had a team remove the very deep snow on our roof. We had tried to get different providers to come out, but everyone was swamped with requests. Len Gibely helped us because we had already signed on a little earlier in the year as a client. They kept their word and got all of our roofs clear. We would have had serious roof problems if they hadn't come out when they did and we are so grateful to them. The price was high, but I think it was due to the extreme demand for roof work at that time. It was well worth it to us to avoid serious problems with our roofing system.

Description of Work: Roof damage from snow and ice needed repair. Called Gibely Co., and had very positive responses from phone rep Deb and and owner Brian. Set up appointment smoothly, and when Brian came, he analyzed problems, explained them understandably, and wrote a proposal. Sent proposal to insurance company since claim money would be used for repair.

They came to replace the roof the first good weather day we had. They completed the work over two days - Friday and a Monday. We love the new roof. All the people we met were professional informative. The cleaned up afterwards. Overall we are extremely happy with the work and wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.
Description of Work: We noticed a leak in our roof - called Len Gibley's office - they had someone at our house within the hour. They patched the problem area that day. We had decided to get a new roof sometime this year anyway so with the leak we moved up the project and decided to get a new roof as soon as possible. So they gave us an estimate for replacing the roof.

I looked in the phone book for this company. The customer service reps were great. They were on time and walked me through what needed to be done. I plan to get a written estimate in the mail in a few days. I also liked that they do a variety of services. That's important to me.

After a good sized storm, we realized a few pieces of siding had blown off our dormer along with about 9 feet of roof shingles. We'd replaced the north side of the roof using Gibely about a year before after two attempts to repair a leak had failed and been happy with their work. (We couldn't afford to do the entire roof at that time.) Because we'd used Gibely three times previously and been completely satisfied, we called them immediately and didn't take the time to get other estimates. They gave us the estimate on 2/21/06 and also got up there and covered the hole with a tarp right away. The work was completed 9 days later. We really appreciated their promptness considering the urgency of having a hole in the roof. They've never given us a bid that wasn't accurate, and they've always shown up at or before the date said they would. We felt they could've cleaned up a bit better as there were quite a few nails found around the yard during the subsequent summer. No large trash remained.
Description of Work: The south side of our upper (main) roof was stripped of old (leaking) roofing material, including cleaning and inspection of chimney flashing. 3 foot ice and water shield was installed over the soffit and in dormer valleys. New roof material was 1516 felt paper and 25-year 3-tab self-sealing shingles. They also replaced three boards of clapboard siding that had blown off in the same storm that damaged the roof on this side. Job trash was removed.
