After signing the estimate and paying a deposit, the repairs were done within a month, maybe 3 weeks. That was fine as there was no heavy rain in the interim.

It was a pleasure working with Len Gibely contracting, they did an outstanding job (for the price quoted, no surprises) and my interactions with all of the employees from Brian, to everyone on the crew, was very professional. Because I was planning to work from home on the days the house was being roofed, Brian was great about making sure I knew the schedule and when they would be starting (due to bad weather the job was pushed back a couple of days). I have a solar evacuated tube domestic hot water system on the roof and this needed to be carefully brought down in pieces, and re-assembled once the new roof was installed. Jeff, the job supervisor, to great care to make sure this went smoothly and everything is working just fine. Finally, the crew did such a great job cleaning up that I think we only found about 6 nails and 2 candy wrappers left over from the job. None of our shrubs were damaged and you would hardly have known that they had been there at all. Thanks for a great roofing experience. Our new roof has a life time warranty, but if I ever have to roof another house again, I would definitely use Len Gibely Contracting.

Brian, office staff, and job site workers were all professional and friendly. Pros: received quote on the day of the first visit by the owner excellent communications throughout the process, which included a delay due to weather and scheduling The office has boards of product samples Workers cleaned up the site after each day and at the end. Used magnets to pick up stray nails. Very respectful of property. Moved items that were in the work zone to prevent damage Price was competitive with the 2 other offers I got Installation done correctly and looks great. Cons (and these are minor): Building permit should be mentioned in quote, even if the amount isn't known so you can factor in an extra amount Would have liked more input on the ventilation of the main roof. It's an antique home and thus sensitive to the building materials and appearance.

Estimate was prompt after appointment with Brian. Scheduling estimate of date and final date were on time. The work was completed over 2 partial days. An appropriate determination was made on the replacing the backside of a former breezeway to replace shingles with rubber roofing (due to degree requirements). The work was completed swiftly and cleaned up very well. The foreman and Brian were extremely helpful showing some details and explaining some concerns. The office staff are helpful and responsive. The roof looks great. I was pleased with the results for the project and would recommend them.

Len Gibely was on time and on budget, fair and honest. The workers were skilled and pleasant to deal with. There was always a foreman in charge for the day. The most important part was we could reach Brian Dobbins, owner, at any time during the job via his cell.. We kept adding more work and they were able to accommodate work that was not scheduled. The crew was neat and tidy. There was no trash on the property after they left for the day or cigarette butts in the grass. There was no loud music blasting while they worked. We did not hear any swearing or screaming. The crew was courteous and were able to answer any questions that we had. We have made 2 recommendations since the job was complete.

They were easy to reach. They scheduled very promptly and very courteous when they were here. I received the quote very quickly and was pretty detailed.

Requested estimates from 4 roofers ( 2 on A list) as well as researched BBB and other reviews for each vendor. I provided my own Bid specifications for roof removal & replacement including materials & process based on vendor experience All vendor responses were prompt & all estimates were competitive. All vendors took time to review specs & explain their process including offering alternatives/suggestions. After review with vendors I chose L. Gibely Co.( Brian) based on thoroughness of review & felt comfortable that I could do business with them. I was contacted prior to start date & given approx. start time . The Crew & materials showed up on time. Introduction by the crew foreman ( Jeff) with walk around property explaining on what when & why process was to take place. Tarps were placed to protect property and landscape. Crew cleaned up & took debris away each day and on final day did sweep for nails all debris. Crew worked diligently & professionally. Upon completion, few days later, I was contacted for visit for walk around by Brian and to review work and answer any questions prior to payment. I am pleased with the work and would recommend L Gibely Co. for roofing and strongly consider them for other work.

They were on time, efficient and neat, and finished the job in the time they said it would take. They cleaned up afterwards.

We hired Len Gibely Contracting for a job left unfinished by a previous contractor. Initially, we had a new entry door installed (previous contractor). Unfortunately the previous contractor left us with an unfinished door frame inside and out and also a storm door which was never installed. Since the storm door was a Harvey door, we checked Harvey?s website for contractors who install their doors. We found Len Gibely Contracting and checked Angie?s List. Len Gibely received many good reviews on Angie?s List, so we called to see if they could finish the job. We were hesitant at first since we had a previous bad experience and not sure if someone else would want to work on a job that they didn?t start. But Jeff came over for an estimate and was agreeable to what we wanted done and didn?t have a problem at all in finishing this job. John arrived and installed an adapter kit for the storm door. He then installed our new storm door and the new door frame. Before he installed the storm door, he noticed the front entry door was unaligned. He then adjusted the door so it would open and close easily. He took his time to make sure everything went well with the install, explaining everything that he was doing and answered all our questions. We were impressed with John?s work in installing the inside door frame. He did an expert job and it looks fantastic. He was very pleasant, professional and hard working. Jeff came back another day to install vinyl wrapping around the outside door frame. He was very skillful and proficient and added a perfect finish to the job. We were very happy with his work also. Everything looks great and both John and Jeff did an exceptional job. We are very happy with John and Jeff?s experience and quality of work. We feel we made a good choice in hiring them. It restored our confidence in hiring contractors. We will definitely call them again for other projects.

The crea should up promptly @ 8:00am on the date expected. My entire roof and clean up was done in one day. The crew was professional, organized, efficient and respectful of my outside property.

LEN GIBELY CONTRACTING WAS GREAT RIGHT FROM THE START, BRIAN CAME ON TIME,AND WENT OVER EVERYTHING WE WANTED DONE,MAKING SUGGESTIONS TO HELP US.WHEN HE LEFT WE HAD A WRITTEN CONTRACT WITH ALL THE WORK AND COST LISTED. THE GIRL IN THERE OFFICE WAS VERY HELPFUL AND VERY PATIENT WHEN WE CALLED WITH QUESTIONS ABOUT ROOF COLORS AND THINGS. THE WORKERS CAME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD AND WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND NICE. THE FOREMAN WENT OVER THE WORK TO BE DONE, AND WAS VERY HELPFUL EXPLAINING ALL THEY WERE GOING TO DO. WE COULDN'T BELIEVE HOW FAST THE WORK WENT,AND WHAT A GREAT JOB THEY DID. THE ROOF LOOKS GREAT AND THEY DID A GREAT JOB ON THE TRIM AROUND THE HOUSE. THE LAST TIME WE HAD THE ROOF DONE WE WERE PICKING UP ROOF SHINGLES AND NAILS FOR MONTHS AFTERWARDS. NOT WITH LEN GIBELY! THEY DID A WONDERFUL JOB OF CLEANING UP THEIR WORK, THE YARD WAS SPOTLESS. THE FOREMAN WENT OVER ALL THE WORK THAT WAS DONE WITH US, AND BRIAN CAME OUT TO CHECK THE WORK BEFORE ANYONE LEFT THE JOB SIGHT. They did a great job, were professional, were on time, very accomadating, cleaned up after themselves and I was very pleased with the service.

My detached garage was in unexpected need of help. My original plan was to simply strip/replace the roof but I then found structural issues with the framing. I called a couple contractors out to take a look. Brian from Len Gibely came out, thoroughly discussed the options after listening to my description, and quickly wrote up a quote. A few days later I had a couple additional items to add, called Brian, and he updated the quote by phone. The price and plan seemed reasonable, as did reviews by others, so they got the job. The only (relatively minor) area for improvement I have for them was in their responsiveness during the time period of sending in a deposit check and actually scheduling the job. I was given a ballpark wait of a month with the expectation of a phone call around week 3 to talk schedule. I called the office on week 5 and wasn't thrilled with the response. I completely understand waiting for quality work and have no problem with that; I just feel the staff should be more proactive about keeping customers updated as the weeks progress. We got the job scheduled and it went great. The worked spanned a couple days and I worked with 2 leads on site during this time. Both were excellent. The work was thorough, well communicated, efficient, and professional (including the crews cleaning up). At one point there was an unexpected structural discovery (rot). I got a call from Brian, he gave me a few options and a quote, and we came up with a plan. This added time to the job but a crew was still able to get out within 3 days to finish the job. The extra portion was also not as complex as it could have been and Brian adjusted his quote accordingly. I am happy with Len Gibely, recommend them to others, and am sure I'll be calling them again for future work.

I can't say enough good things about the experience. Brian and the entire crew were friendly and professional. He went over every detail about what would be done ahead of time, and every thing went exactly as explained. They cleaned up beautifully. And most important the roof looks fantastic and like a quality job. It was a bit more than I wanted to spend initially, but I'm glad I did it.

They came out within 2 days and gave me a fair estimate. I was told due to the fact that there was a lot of rain that they would be catching up on previously scheduled work and that it would be about 6-8 weeks before my job could be started. This in fact was true we did have a lot rain previous to me calling for an estimate. The only thing I can complain about is that when they did clear their schedule to start my project we had some scheduling issues. They called at 3:30 pm and wanted to start at 8:30 am the next day. We were not ready on our end and had to reschedule.I would have expected more notice than that. Once the work started they did a great job. They stripped off existing layer, re-nailed sheathing, installed 6 feet of ice and water shield, ground out and re-lead both chimneys, installed new soil pipe flashing, installed ridge vent and 3 inch drip edge all round. They also installed a new bathroom light/fan and vented it through the roof.The whole job took 2 days they cleaned up after each shift and left the area clean and tidy. they were very responsive to questions and concerns and handled them in a professional and courteous manner. There was a small leak around one of the skylights and they responded the next day to repair it. I have not had any issues with the roof since. They actually reduced the bill from the original estimate to compensate for the scheduling and communication issues we had. They honored a $300 Angie's list coupon as well. All in all I would rehire Len Gibely Contracting in the future, I felt they were professional and trustworthy from the start.

Very professional. Clear identification and estimate of problems with 65-foot long malfunctioning rear gutter. Resolved long-standing gutter slope issues that had eluded previous attempts to fix with other repair contractors. Not one overflow problem since Gibley's repair! Highly recommend!

Contractor showed up on time and completed the job on time and within budget, according to his estimate. All the crew were polite and professional. There were no hidden charges or complications. The contractor left the property neat and clean and didn't damage any of the landscaping during the work.

Len Gibely responded immediately to my call for an estimate. They were able to make an appointment that was convenient for me. The worker Tom, came out and I took him around the property and showed him the areas of concern. Tom was able to explain those areas that I questioned and provide an estimate at that time. I received the estimate in witting a few days later and a deposit was sent in. At the time of estimate I was told work would begin in 3 weeks due to their schedule. I did not hear from them when this 3 week period passed and I had to call to ask what the delay was. Kelly did get right back to me and told me that one of their workers had an accident and that set back all their jobs. I was given a window of time when work should begin. Work did begin at that time. The worker came out at what I suspect on time....I was not home when he arrived. He was working on the roof when I did come home and I was able to ask him about a few areas of concern. He let me know that he wasn't seeing anything unexpected and continued to work. I left my home and when I returned he was gone. No note was left to confirm that all went well or if issues arose so I wasn't sure if the price was going to be the same as quoted. I did get a bill for the balance a few days later. All in all, I believe the job was done well. The gutters that needed fixing were fixed and the roof shingles look great.

Brian arrived right on time to assess the job and prepare a quote. He then handed it to me in a packet along with other information, including certificates of insurance and MA registration / licenses. It was great getting everything needed right up front. When record-breaking heat and then rain delayed the project, Brian kept in constant touch projecting the anticipated install date (and promptly repaired my old roof when it leaked slightly in the meantime). I also was impressed that for safety reasons, before any work began, they had the power company wrap the lines coming into my house. And then had the power company promptly unwrap the lines afterwards. Everyone was skilled, hardworking, and pleasant. This, along with Gibely's professionalism and excellent customer service, makes this company tops in my book.

See above It has been 4 years since the gutter guard was installed and it works great. We had a leak from the end cap of the gutter, it was presumed that the leak was coming from the gutter. Brian came out and looked at the issue, tested the gutter and found that the problem was actually with the roof & channels and not with the gutter. I found Brian to be responsive and interested in quality work.

Brian was wonderful, kept in contact, was here often....his crew were total professionals and did an amazing job. we were and are still very pleased with the entire experience and we are currently having them come back to replace the roof on our three floor colonial! we will be using Len Gibely Contracting for years to come. Their estimate was right on and they even did some repair work that hadn't been expected. The woodwork on the third floor came out beautiful...looks like it is the original 100 year old wood, but new! I highly recommend using Len Gibely Contracting.

They were very far behind in their work calendar and we knew we would have to wait 4-6 weeks but we waited almost 3 months. They did update us but it was frustrating to have it rain for 3 days and then be told they were again going to be delayed. They were very nice and when they did finally get here they did a good job in a few days and we have been happy.

He came out and gave me an estimate. They seemed very responsive and they were very great. They were very nice to work with. He gave me a reasonable price. They were very honest. He could have told me that I needed a new gutter like the others did.
