We are so glad we went with Matt Silva & his team for our much-needed kitchen update. The finished result is functional, modern, and beautiful, as we had hoped. But the best part was working with this group of pros. Every person who was in/out of our house over the space of a few weeks was courteous and professional, respectful of our space, tolerant of our senior dog, and extremely meticulous in caring for our home as if it were their own. Matt visited us a few times before we committed to the work. Each time he answered a myriad of questions, showed product examples, made recommendations, and helped us decide on several key factors. Matt replied to emails promptly, and he always let us know when to expect team members to arrive. As with any reno, there were a couple minor snags but each was addressed promptly and to our full satisfaction. We can't say enough about how thoroughly these guys cleaned up every day. We never once tripped over a tool, found a nail on the floor, or had to worry about the dog getting into something he shouldn't. They sealed off our kitchen carefully, kept the yard gate closed as requested, and always covered the floor in the work zone. We used our own electrician but were very happy with the plumber, quartz supplier, and tile installers Matt coordinated. All of them showed up as scheduled and were as professional and thorough as Matt's core team. Honestly if this group did deck reno, exterior painting, and driveway paving we'd hired them for all those projects too. We have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Kitchen Tune-up of Peabody.

The best money we've ever spent. Matthew and his team were skilled, knowledgeable, and friendly. He provided helpful advice along the way, promptly communicated at every stage of the process, and started and completed the project on time and on schedule. They helped us go from barely-functional builder grade to a knock-out super functional designer kitchen. The project: We chose a custom color (matched to Pigeon by Farrow and Ball) and shaker doors. We were able to keep all of our perimeter cabinets and Kitchen Tune-up built boxes to bring them up to the ceiling. They modified a few other cabinets so we could add an apron sink and a vent hood. Our kitchen island was completely replaced with new cabinetry, and we also added a large pantry cabinet and bar area with drink fridge and cabinet to a previously open space. Our refrigerator previously had a tiny cabinet over it with the sides open - we added a full depth cabinet over and a full surround around the fridge. The Kitchen Tune-Up Team: Absolutely amazing craftsmen and superior attention to detail. Before beginning work on existing cabinets, they re-leveled them with shims, which is just one example of the pride they took in quality. Everything was finished to perfection. The high-quality of work and our ability to re-use as much as possible enabled us to create a completely new kitchen that was more functional, doubled our storage, and looks like a designer kitchen at a third of what we were quoted for a basic new kitchen build. We paid Kitchen Tune-Up $36,000 and that included new quartz counter and installation of tile backsplash. Separately, we paid for plumbing and electrical work (referred by Kitchen Tune-up), and venting our fan through an exterior wall. We also sourced tile, new lights, the vent hood, cabinet hardware, the sink and faucet, and a drink fridge.

It was awesome. Matt and his co-workers were efficient, hard-working, showed great attention to detail, and respectful. It's such a pleasure to have a contractor actually return calls/texts within a day or so! Communication was great. The kitchen looks amazing. We went from a very tired 1958 kitchen to 2021 in about 3 weeks.

We are very happy with the work done by Matt Silva and his team. Matt was very easy to work with as we added some unique design elements by adding cookie tray cabinets in the spaces next to kitchen sink that were previously covered by space panels. We also added a toe kick around the entire island which resulted in having to customize the cabinet bases. Matt was happy to add ideas and accommodate the design to our wishes. Everything was done with attention to detail. The work was done five months ago and we continue to comment among ourselves how happy we are with our bright "new" kitchen! Kitchen Tuneup was fantastic. They arrived at the specified time in the morning each day. They completed their work each day and my house was left spotless. Their tools and supplies were neatly organized in my house for the next work day. My project took 3 full days to complete. Each day I came home and was thrilled with the progress. I have already give their name to several people for projects they want to do. They are a family owned and operated business so they really care about you and your project. I had a request to save the inside of one of my drawers, my dad had made a silverware divider in my draw and it was one of the last things he did for me before he passed away and they were able to use it in my drawer which put a very big smile on my face. When I met with them, we discussed also doing some carpentry work which they also did for me. I can not say enough about this company.

What a terrific company to do business with! We liked our kitchen cabinets, but they were showing wear & tear. Matthew & his team restored our kitchen cabinets for a fraction of the cost of replacing them & did just a fantastic job. They were professional, respectful of our home & did an amazing job. All our phone calls/email were promptly responded to by Matthew & he was wonderful in answering all our questions. The team is Matthew, Manny (Matthew's dad) & John (Matthew's cousin). They showed up right on time & got started immediately & worked diligently until the job was done. They also replaced all the door handles & removed the old counter. We just can't say enough good things about our experience with them & would recommend them in a spit second. Thanks to Matthew, Manny & John, our cabinets look as nice as the day they were installed & the kitchen is now looking like 2018, not 2000!

I can't say enough about the positive experience we had with Matt and his family team. The work was excellent and it has transformed our kitchen for a fraction of what it would cost if we were to replace our entire kitchen cabinet structure. Since the framework and drawer boxes were in good shape, it was all of the facing and a lot of the sliders and hinges that needed replacement, along some large doors for our pantry. They are beautiful, and Matt, his dad and cousin did all of it in a day and a short morning second day. They cleaned up even after the first day, worked hard around the inevitable problems that emerge, and I would use them again in a nano second!

Matthew, Manny and Johnny worked every minute they were here. They were polite, efficient, extremely professional, punctual and friendly. Their work was absolutely outstanding and I could not be happier with the outcome. You can see the quality throughout. After having contractor issues in the past I was extremely pleased to see how strictly they followed their timeline. Matthew does not take more than one project at a time and that goes a long way. Matt Silva, his dad Manuel, and cousin were super. They arrived daily at the time they specified to us and same for leaving. They cleaned up everyday, always asked our opinion for things to be done, and assisted us with the quartz counter top process. Everyone was professional from start to finish and they even came back to finish one thing after the quartz top was put on. Our kitchen looks amazing and everyone who has seen it has given us compliments. We highly recommend this group. We researched ahead who to use and checked reviews and we could not be happier with the outcome.

Matt and his team were a pleasure to work with from the very beginning when my wife and I were getting bids. They're a family owned business and not 'salesy'at all. Very patient and diligent as we asked a lot of questions. They were professional, punctual and respectful of our home. They cleaned up each afternoon so we could still use our kitchen. We had functional cabinets when we bought our home but they looked dated. Exposed hinges, off white color and paint starting to chip. We replaced them with stratus white, raised panel, full overlay doors and our kitchen has never looked better. Also installed: drawers, crown molding, a lazy susan and double roll-out trash barrel. I highly recommend Kitchen Tune Up.

I can honestly say that this is the best home improvement project we have done. The crew showed up when they stated they would, stayed on budget, was very clean, did impeccable work, and even went above and beyond several times. They delivered on everything they said they would, and more. Matthew and the team are extremely professional and nice. I honestly can't recommend them enough..and I can be extremely hard to please!

Matthew Silva and his family were very good to work with; always prompt, considerate and professional. We had several planning meetings before anything was installed. They always cleaned up extensively after each part of a 4 day job so that we were never inconvenienced. We would recommend their services.

We could not have been more satisfied and would, without reservation, recommend Kitchen Tune-Up for anyone thinking of installing a laminate countertop. From the moment we met Matt Silva we were very comfortable with him and felt confident that he would be able to do the job. The countertop is important because it is where we have had nearly all of our meals for the last 30 years. Not only did he carefully take the measurements for our new countertop but he offered valuable advice as we redesigned it, including extending the countertop on both sides so one of us no longer had to sit sideways while eating. He also curved the ends so young ones would not injure themselves running into a sharp corner. We chose a royal burgundy laminate that went well with our purpleheart wood cabinets and floor. Matt and his cousin Johnny returned to install the countertop manufactured by The Countertop Outlet of Peabody. It looked terrific. They were both very professional, hard working and friendly. There was some additional carpentry work needed which they did beautifully (including advising us that an electrician was needed to cover some uncovered open wiring). In addition, they installed a smaller countertop for a kitchen bathroom vanity, also perfectly done. They also coordinated with a plumber who appeared the next day after they completed their work to reconnect faucets, the disposal and a hot water dispenser. As we said, we were very pleased with Kitchen-Tune-Up.
