He requested that I wait about 3 weeks for just the quote. So, I said no problem and we scheduled a day for a quote. When scheduled say came, he didn't confirm, didn't return phone calls before or after appointment time. What a waste of my time and totally botched the timing of my project even further because now I have to find someone else. Unprofessional.

The job was completed within one day. The team came to our house exactly at the scheduled time and started the job right away. We were updated with progress reports throughout the day. The guys did a great job! Would definitely hire them again for additional electrical service needs.

John came as agreed to review an electrical problem and to provide a suggested course of action. He was right on time, listened to my concerns and history relating to the problem and did a thorough inspection. He provided a two step plan and an honest financial approach as we dig deeper.

I had set up a time for John to come to my place in late May for an estimate on electrical work-outlets-switches and possible recessed lighting. He was all about how he doesn't need the work because he is good. He did stop by after a reschedule on my part maybe early June. After stopping by he said he would send me a quote via e-mail. Last Monday, June 29, 2015, I sent him a text asking for an update on the quote. He replied that he would look into it. Today is July 3, 2015 and no email or text. I am disappointed with how he has handled his follow-up. Is is just too good for the small stuff?

Found "John Teheen Master Electrician" here on Angie's List and reached out to them on Sunday night via E-Mail and got a response first thing Monday morning! Made an appointment for John to come to our home to repair some electrical outlets that had stopped working. He showed up Thursday and was both personable and professional and did a fantastic job! We are definitely going to reach out to this company again to help with our new hot tub installation when we move! A+++!

The jobs went well. John shows up on time and works the entire time. He has an assistant, Jake, who makes the job get done more quickly. John's final price was cheaper than what he originally quoted, so that's always a plus. I would definitely hire him again.

John went above and beyond in placing recessed lighting in my basement-family room. It was a difficult job because I wanted the lights behind a steel beam, he figured out a way and did it without question. He completed the job in a day and it looked like no one was in the room.

It went well, everything was completed in the timeframe he listed.

After obtaining several estimates for this work we settled on John because he provided us with the most detailed description and estimate of the required work, including how long it would take and how many people would be required. We scheduled a date for the work within a reasonable time frame (~ 2 weeks), and his company was flexible with the start time to accommodate our kids school schedules. On the day of service he and an assistant came on time and were able to get all fixtures in and working in a single day. As we'd discussed in his initial visit for the estimate, one of the ceiling lights was very troublesome and required cutting into a sidewall to wire the switch. Not surprisingly, this ran a little longer than required due to tight confines and will require some additional cleaning and painting on our part, but we were quite satisfied with the result and had no problems paying $100 over estimate to cover the additional hour+ spent on the job. Throughout, John and his associate were polite and accommodating, and we'd be happy to use them again for future service.

I would highly recommend John for any electrical need you might have. He did the electrical work for my kitchen remodel and did a great job. He communicated very well and was reliable. Everything looks great. Also, after the storm came through last week, we had an electrical problem with our bathroom. I was concerned because I have young kids so we called John. He was literally at my house in about 20 minutes. He fixed the problem that day and put me at ease which was also nice. I highly recommend John and his team for any electrical need you might have.

It went very well; he showed up on time, did exactly what he said he'd do, and when we ran into something unexpected, found a good solution. He cleaned up after. John is very affable and careful to explain what the job involves. We've hired him before to do other work, and while his schedule is busy, would wait to work with him again.

I found John Teheen's name on Angie's List and called his number. To my surprise and delight, John answered the phone. I explained our situation and he assured me that he would be at the home within 24 hours and that he would report to the general contractor as to the scope and cost of the work. He did exactly that, and then he called me to give me a full assessment of the work that needed to be done and a cost and schedule for getting it done. I approved the estimate and John collaborated with my GC and performed the work exactly as planned. John is extremely professional and I will definitely use his company for my future electrical needs.

I found John on Angie's List. He is very responsive and although very busy he is easy to reach and responds promptly. He gave me an evaluation of the work to be done then came back after our closing. He worked for two days and although he discovered other electrical issues as he was working the work did not exceed his estimate. John is pleasant and professional. I recommend him highly.

We had some trouble reaching each other, but once contact was made, John was prompt in coming to see what the job would involve and to give an estimate. He arrived on time on the day scheduled and had an assistant with him. They got right to work and kept at it until the job was completed. Because of the way the room was set up, there was one small area on the wall that required a patch after the wire was run. He did a great job and the patch is nearly invisible. The work was completed a bit under schedule and the final cost was less than originally quoted. Everything was left in order and all cleaned up. John is friendly and outgoing and really knows his trade. He was able to answer all my questions confidently. I felt secure that he would do a good job, and I will certainly call on him again and recommend him to anyone.

Took the time to secure hard-to-get lighting fixtures, repaired damaged wiring, and added to the landcape lighting design. Highly professional and reliable. Will use him for future electrical needs.

John came in on very short notice to a home I had just bought to install cable outlets where there previously had been none as well as an electrical outlet where a TV was going to be mounted. John and his assistant worked effectively with some challenges that the home's construction provided. Just as importantly, they cleaned up completely after themselves, something that has been a hit-or-miss proposition with other contractors.

In each case, I called John and he returned my calls promptly and arrived on time as scheduled, and completed the wog uprk promptly. And he was meticulous in cleaning up after he completed the work.

I was given John's name by another contractor that I had contacted through Angie's list. He said he did not do the kind of work I needed and gave me the referral. I spoke with John at John Taheen electrical and set up an appointment for about a week and a half later (I just needed the work done before Thanksgiving so it was not urgent). John and his associate arrived on time. They were extremely professional and friendly. They removed an old chandelier and installed the new one. John also installed three dimmer switches, looked a potential trouble spots and gave some really good advise on future electrical needs. I would definitely use him again.

Extremely satisfied. John is very knowledgeable and extremely responsive and punctual. He provided sound advice on additional work that could and should be performed for safety reasons. He cleaned up after leaving. Everything works as it should. His rate may be more expensive than others (not sure as I haven't done comprehensive comparisons) but the quality of his work was worth the price.

I called John this morning and told him that my smoke detectors had been going off, making horrible noise. He bought new detectors and came to my house at the end of his work day, the Friday of Labor Day weekend. He was prompt, courteous, and professional.

John returned my calls promptly, arrived for the estimate on time. He had some great ideas about where and how to install the fixtures, and then did the work in a timely fashion. He and his assistant were very efficient, cleaned up the work areas, and quick. John was very conscientious. I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

John and his sidekick Steve both arrived at the time agreed; courteous, professional, clean, and reasonable prices -- what more could I ask for? I have and will call John for any of my home electrical needs. He was referred by me to a business acquainance, and John did all of the work there. The feedback was all positive. I really appreciate good work at a fair price.

John answered my initial email query with a phone call within an hour, came out the same week to look at what I needed done and give me an estimate, and arranged to come do the job on a date that was convenient for me. On the date of service he and his assistant were prompt, very pleasant to work with, and efficient, and the final price was actually slightly less than the estimate. Very pleased.
