CABINETRY UNLIMITED

It went horribly. I made a significant mistake by paying Peter (the owner) according to a very vague schedule (no specific work milestones). This was my first construction project ever and Peter is a great talker but when it comes to doing what he says, HE IS IMPOSSIBLE! It was a nightmare and the work they did was horribly done. The project was schedule to be started in April, by June he had 55K of our $ and then he had only partially taken down the walls and put in new insulation. I can't go into all the details, it would take pages. After he had the 55K and only worked on the walls, he stopped working, FOR 3 MONTHS. It was unbelievable. I couldn't fire him because he had too much of our $ and he wouldn't do anything. He had an excuse/explanation for everything that wasn't going well (which was everything). Long story short, he finished in December and I accepted low quality work, just to have the condo available for my 85 year old dad to move back into.

They did a really nice job. They weren't inexpensive. A couple of years later I asked them to call back about something because I had a question because we wanted to change refrigerators and everything had been built in. I asked if they could move stuff around and they never called back. I asked a couple of times. I ended up not changing my refrigerator but that kind of bugged me. I went down there in person and gave the message to the secretary and they never called back. To me that put a bad mark on them. They were the GC for the kitchen. They got the plumber and the electrician. The cabinets came out nice and I am very pleased with them. Overall the job was nice except for that one problem a couple of years later. The refrigerator could still become an issue in the future because it is all built in. I wish we would have talked about it more because they made it specific for a 12 year old refrigerator. I did buy one and had to return it because it wouldn't fit. Aside from this, they did nice work. I thought they were expensive. I liked the stuff they did and I was happy with it. They were here bright and early every day. They were responsive at the original time. They were a little pricey.
