this company did good work at a reasonably price. they were prompt and professional.

Did not match brick. Top rows were crooked. Chimney cap blew off. Mortar came out.

It turned out very well. They were great at scheduling and were on time. They work they did was excellent and they were easy to work with.

Overall fine except for the end. The chimney looks good and the quality of work seems fine. The foreman/ mason was polite and performed the work as scheduled. My only criticism is at the end of the job, they didn't clean up very well. The junior worker was supposed to remain behind and clean up all the pieces of brick and mortar that had fallen into the grass. On that basis I paid the foreman who left. Unfortunately the junior worker did a superficial clean up (only the obvious pieces), and left within 5 minutes of the foreman. Afterword, I filled up 2 - 3 five gallon buckets with brick and mortar pieces that were left behind. The good impression I had up until that time was tarnished significantly. Reminder - Don't pay the contractor until every single piece of work is done! Once they get paid - they are looking for the exit.

I asked him specifically to use my cell phone for communications and he called my home phone at 7am one morning wanting me to answer more questions. He didn?t write anything down and asked me for all the information. I didn?t like the way he came across.

D & D Masonry & Chimney did a very good job. I felt that the tiles were too close to the cap. So I had them cut it off with a diamond saw. They seemed to be a reputable company. They gave me an estimate and stuck to it. They did the work in an efficient manner.

Excellent. I had a short window of opportunity before the roof is to be replaced and they obliged and arrived when promised. The mason and his helper were very professional and worked diligently for a full 10 hours to complete the project the same day. They removed the old chimney and cleaned up the entire area, removing all the debris. The new chimney looks great.

My experience with them has been good. They were professional and straight forward. They showed me exactly what was going on. I agreed with their findings.

Had a minor blockage in the vent from my hot water heater to the chimney. That was easily cleared out, so the guy said that should do it. Then he goes out calls his "boss" and next thing I know he tells me I need thousands of dollars of work on my chimney.....a clear ripoff artist. Don't ever hire this company.

This actually started as an unsolicited phone call from the company. It just so happened that we had not had our chimney checked in a very long time, so I figured that for $139.00 it was worth making sure everything was ok for the winter. I didn't want to schedule it until I had talked with my husband and so I had asked the telemarketer to call back. This went on for several weeks (kept forgetting to talk to hubby) and she called back when asked each time. It was finally scheduled (they were able to come on a weekend). They were expected at 8 am and called at about that time to say they were running late and would be there by 8:30. Kim arrived right on time, he had a drop-cloth to avoid any mess, did the inspection and sweep, explained everything, did not try to sell me any more services but told me they offered the services needed when I asked him. It cost only the $139.00 as quoted and he left no mess. He was also very pleasant. I couldn't be happier.
