ECMR breached their own contract by NOT informing us of costs for additional work until the job was completed. Poor communication after the sale was made. No issue with sales or workmanship. Big issue with the breach of contract with the high pressure from ECMR to just pay the additional amount. The roofs on the house and barn look amazing and it was fast. Contract issue is the only reason for this review.

From the initial contact with Project Specialist Dave Harrison for our quote through the completion of our project the ECMR team was very professional and courteous. Dave was our contact from the day of the quote through the end of the project and setting up the warranty. He is an expert in roofing and his communication skills and relaxed no pressure approach made the quote process more of an information delivery than a sales pitch. Any questions we had were answered thoroughly and processes were explained in detail whenever we asked how something would be done. Before signing on one of our biggest concerns was scheduling and when we could have the project done. Being in New Hampshire we did not want our roof done in winter. Every promise Dave made was kept and our roof was started and completed sooner than we expected and the result is beyond expectations. Eduardo and his crew that did our project were amazing in their work ethic and attention to detail making sure everything was done right. They took care of the landscape and left the yard and landscaping cleaner than when they started. Shawn La Force (Quality Control) was on-site frequently checking in with the crew and any questions or concerns we had along the way were quickly resolved. Throughout the entire process, we gained a high comfort and confidence level with the ECMR team. We never felt like they were just there to hurry up and get it done. Instead, we felt like they were there to do a high-quality job and do it right. We could see their attention to detail and as the work was being done we knew that we made the right choice by picking ECMR. The crew was some of the hardest working people I have ever seen and the commitment to excellence the entire team exhibited is second to none. You get what you pay for and with ECMR it was an amazingly good-looking roof that we have 100% confidence is done right. It took a little while to get started , but that was explained to me before the job , our old gutters got dinged up by the roofers I explained what happened and they replaced the gutters in a timely fashion Chris , and Shaun were very helpful through the whole process over all a great experience #1

Clear communication through the whole process. Questions were answered promptly and the roof looks amazing. I was extremely impressed with the work ethics of the crew, as well as the care the project manager and quality control team gave us.

Crew showed up when they said they'd be here and they worked hard from the time they got here until the time they went home. Any questions I had were answered. They did a wonderful job. Clean up was excellent. It was an overall great experience.

I didn't know that sort of worth ethic was still out there, but we were incredibly impressed! The care taken to protect the home and surrounding features, the constant clean up and the amazing skill to put our roof on so beautifully. We realized that we needed a new roof but wanted something better than the standard roof for the rough winters in our area. We called East Coast roofing, they made an appointment and came to the home quickly and we thought it would be a good investment for our house. They begin to work around the time they specified and completed the work around the time they estimated it would be done. I am amazed with the difference of our house temperature. We always struggled to keep the upstairs warm in the winters and cool in the summers and that is no longer an issue. I highly recommend this company if you want to invest in a good roof for your home.

We shopped and asked around for a few years. Our home had an low pitched roof and built in the 70s so we really needed something that would handle our NH winters. After a lot of searching we decided on ECMR because of their customer service and support. Love the quality of the product and out of looks amazing. A crew of 5-6 did the job in 2 1/2 days and were very professional. They travelled a few hours to come here and worked till dark. Live the lifetime warranty as well

Had a great experience from start to finish. Chris Lacky came to the house and assessed the project size and spent a lot of time explaining the metal roofing options and we settled on a shingle looking aluminum roof. After a short life for our previous asphalt roof we decided to go with metal. The scheduling had a few bumps due to the rainy summer but ECMR kept us up to date and when they scheduled the install, the took care of all the deliveries and dumpster needs. We had Baha and his instal crew for our job and they were non-stop workers staying well into darkness during the install including working a couple of weekend days to make up for rain days. Baha was dedicated to doing a quality install and he made it happen. His crew also were very neat in keeping the area cleaned up during the process. Great experience and looking for many years service from the roof.

This product is bit high priced. The quality is good. And the installation fast and professional. Well done.

Best experience we have had in a long time. the entire team was outstanding. from Chris in sales, Doug in quality control and Christian who ran the crew every detail was expertly taken care of. We now have a beautiful looking roof that will last us a lifetime.

Chris gave us a great, detailed presentation of the quality of the roof and the timeline. Everything turned out as presented. Project was completed on time. The roof looks awesome. Customer Service was outstanding. Chris, Mike and Armando made sure that everything went perfect. Costs more then asphalt, but it is absolutely worth it.

We had a very complicated roofing project: removal of two layers of asphalt shingles, removal and replacement of 24 solar panels, flashing of 19 skylights and replacement of three more. Rep Chris helped us make the difficult decision to switch to metal interlocking shingles. We are so glad we did. The roof on our 19th Century barn home did not leak for the first time in 20 years despite the rainiest summer ever in Massachusetts. We feel good about the lower environmental impact of using more recyclable materials. The roofing teams were skilled and extraordinarily hard working (thank you to the Manuels, Lucy and Victoria and all of the others whose names we did not catch). The materials, environmental dumpsters, plywood and equipment arrived as needed and Doug was on top of quality control. The timing of the project to coincide with a dry week in May was perfect. Finally, we really like the way the roof and the improved solar array look. Confident but standing by to see how well everything works in a nâ or easter or blizzard this winter!

The cost of metal roof is more than asphalt but this roof comes with 50 year guarantee. Since this is our third roof , I wish we had this option years ago. Roof looks great

I am very happy with the experience from initial sale to completion of project Chris has been everything anyone could ask for in a rep and my QA contact Mike was also top notch! Having a QA/QC/Tech Support background myself I was very impressed with how much everyone from the onsight crew chief on up was constantly offering to answer questions and honestly concerned with my satisfaction. The product is awesome, the install was efficient, clean and they even went out of their way (cheerfully) to help with some minor issues previous contractors had cut corners on. I would absolutely recommend ECMR to family and friends without hesitation! Thank you again Chris, Mike and Eduardo - it shows that you take pride in your work and that's where the rubber meets the road.

Hello, I hired East Coast Metal Roofing to install a new roof on a rental property. I had one problem after another. They did not look in the attic when doing their estimate, and to my surprise, all the plywood had to be replaced. Then, they were pushing me to sign off on the statement of completion using words of guilt, not fair. They schedule a crew to clean three times, and I still found 18 nails and a large 8X8 metal shingle laying in the open, plain sight. Now, I had a home inspector inspect the completeness of their work, I am being told that the flashing on the heat pipe is properly installed. How come I do not see poor quality work done on the houses in your gallery, but it is ok for others. Like most other contractors, they promise you the world and when it comes to following through on their promises, there is not any true support.

Chris did an excellent communicating to me on a daily basis, from the very start to the end he was available to discuss with me any issues that would arrive an the progress the crew was making, Met Sean one of the project managers an he also explained were the crew was at, Then the final visit with Doug to make sure the property was up to East Coast Metal Roofing standards. The Beginning: The existing roof was the original (circa 1979) with two layers of shingles. Long story divorced with three kids. All at home with me, college, etc.â ¦. Yep, this was part of the delay in doing this sooner! I prolonged this for too long and the inevitable finally happened. Water penetration and mold due to improper soffit ventilation! Action: I started researching roofing options. I had also noticed that my neighborsâ overtime have had multiple roof projects over the past 10+ years. I also noticed how their roofs appearance tired after just a year after installation. Mold or staining seemed common. I obtained multiple quotes from the super low quality, to the highest quality asphalt replacement. I also decided to look at alternative materials as I am into technology and was interested in doing what I could to not only invest in my house but the environment. I reached out to East Coast Metal Roofing. To be honest, Iâ m not sure how I came across them. ECMR probably came up in my google or Facebook based on my searches. Contact with East Coast Metal Roofing: I was contacted quickly from my inquiry. Like within a minute! The magical world we live in. Introduce Mr. Chris Lacky. Chris and I connected from the start. Maybe it was our close New England roots (south shore/north shore), but regardless he knew his product as well as the available alternatives. As mentioned previously, I had researched ahead of time, and Chris just connected the dots. While he arrived with his arsenal, it really was not necessary. The technology speaks for itself. I am not advocating to not listen to Chris and his presentation. I also do not want to say that just â anyoneâ can convey the benefits as well for the product. Chris was and is still a contact of mine and I consider him a friend in some regard even though we have not celebrated another PATs Superbowl, but we can do that next year! I will add that after Chrisâ s visit, my son Noah mentioned to me â That guy really knew his stuff and was a nice guyâ . After Chris went through his presentation and addressed any questions I had we agreed on a final price for the project which had some contingency built in. I suspected that I would have more damage once the roof was striped, happily it was not the case! Roofing Project Contract signed! Project: My soffits needed complete replacement. I would suggest doing any soffit/gutter work done as an integrated part of the process to obtain the greatest benefits of the roof. If there is any damage to the existing do that first. The interlocking of the product with the shingles to the drip edge is better demonstrated by Chris. Letâ s just say that once the roof is on and interlocked, the margin for penetration is not really a factor anymoreâ ¦ so 99.9%? The crew that conducted the install did an awesome job. The project took about 4 days in duration. The crew very courteous especially during COVID times! CLEANUP! Everyday my homes surroundings were left as if there was not any construction going on!!!! Aside from the dumpster! All materials were cleaned up, lawn was raked of anything. My yard has never looked better! Project Completed: The Team did a great job and I could not be happier with the results. Introduce Mr. Doug Churchill. Doug is one of ECMRâ s Project Management and quality check team. Doug was on the job site from the start and engaged through the projectâ s lifecycle. He went over the installation with me and then coordinated with the rest of his team. He and his team then executed the plan, and we had no issues and or adjustments to the plan! Once the project was completed Doug as well as other ECMR individuals came out and did a check on the project. This further ensured me that they were invested in 100% satisfaction I have not only increased the value of my home, but the salability in the future.
