The Beginning: The existing roof was the original (circa 1979) with two layers of shingles. Long story divorced with three kids. All at home with me, college, etc.â ¦. Yep, this was part of the delay in doing this sooner! I prolonged this for too long and the inevitable finally happened. Water penetration and mold due to improper soffit ventilation! Action: I started researching roofing options. I had also noticed that my neighborsâ overtime have had multiple roof projects over the past 10+ years. I also noticed how their roofs appearance tired after just a year after installation. Mold or staining seemed common. I obtained multiple quotes from the super low quality, to the highest quality asphalt replacement. I also decided to look at alternative materials as I am into technology and was interested in doing what I could to not only invest in my house but the environment. I reached out to East Coast Metal Roofing. To be honest, Iâ m not sure how I came across them. ECMR probably came up in my google or Facebook based on my searches. Contact with East Coast Metal Roofing: I was contacted quickly from my inquiry. Like within a minute! The magical world we live in. Introduce Mr. Chris Lacky. Chris and I connected from the start. Maybe it was our close New England roots (south shore/north shore), but regardless he knew his product as well as the available alternatives. As mentioned previously, I had researched ahead of time, and Chris just connected the dots. While he arrived with his arsenal, it really was not necessary. The technology speaks for itself. I am not advocating to not listen to Chris and his presentation. I also do not want to say that just â anyoneâ can convey the benefits as well for the product. Chris was and is still a contact of mine and I consider him a friend in some regard even though we have not celebrated another PATs Superbowl, but we can do that next year! I will add that after Chrisâ s visit, my son Noah mentioned to me â That guy really knew his stuff and was a nice guyâ . After Chris went through his presentation and addressed any questions I had we agreed on a final price for the project which had some contingency built in. I suspected that I would have more damage once the roof was striped, happily it was not the case! Roofing Project Contract signed! Project: My soffits needed complete replacement. I would suggest doing any soffit/gutter work done as an integrated part of the process to obtain the greatest benefits of the roof. If there is any damage to the existing do that first. The interlocking of the product with the shingles to the drip edge is better demonstrated by Chris. Letâ s just say that once the roof is on and interlocked, the margin for penetration is not really a factor anymoreâ ¦ so 99.9%? The crew that conducted the install did an awesome job. The project took about 4 days in duration. The crew very courteous especially during COVID times! CLEANUP! Everyday my homes surroundings were left as if there was not any construction going on!!!! Aside from the dumpster! All materials were cleaned up, lawn was raked of anything. My yard has never looked better! Project Completed: The Team did a great job and I could not be happier with the results. Introduce Mr. Doug Churchill. Doug is one of ECMRâ s Project Management and quality check team. Doug was on the job site from the start and engaged through the projectâ s lifecycle. He went over the installation with me and then coordinated with the rest of his team. He and his team then executed the plan, and we had no issues and or adjustments to the plan! Once the project was completed Doug as well as other ECMR individuals came out and did a check on the project. This further ensured me that they were invested in 100% satisfaction I have not only increased the value of my home, but the salability in the future.

ECMR installed a roof at our house and we love it, they were very accommodating as far as schedule, professional and efficient. The reason I would recommend them it's because when I brought some issues to their attention, one related to the installation and the other one to a scratch on my motorcycle Chris and Sean made sure that both issues were resolve promptly. In my experience if they don't get the job correct the first time they will definitely solve it if you bring issues to their attention. Highly recommended

I am absolutely in love with my new roof. I went with black metal shingles and they look amazing. The peace of mind knowing that I donâ t have to worry about roof repairs or another roof replacement in my lifetime was worth every penny. Dave Harrison was friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. The roofers were also friendly, very respectful, and did an amazing job. Oh and Doug Churchill with Quality Control was also friendly and very helpful. Everyone made sure we understood all that was going on every step of the way. We have already received compliments on the look of our roof! I can see how they have been in business for so many years!

Chris and Shaun were great to work with. Always keeping you informed of what was going on. Their level of communication was great. Everything happened just as they said it would. Only 1 day they couldnâ t work because the winds were too strong. They were there first thing in the morning thru when the sun went down. Everything went very well with no problems. It was great working with Chris, Dave, Shawn and the rest of the crew. Everything went in a timely fashion from the day we sat with Chris going over the product. With Dave when he dropped off the supplies and at the end when he came back to make sure all extra supplies were cleaned up and there was no roofing debris remained. The crew that showed up with Shawn the first day worked tirelessly the first day rebuilding a whole new roof till well into the evening hours. They came back the next more to finish the remaining work. We have had one wind storm and two torrential rain storms since the installation and we don't hear anything. This was a great investment. I would highly recommend East Coast for your roofing needs.

Dave, Shawn, Kevin, and the rest of the crew did a superb job right from the beginning of the project. Their professional response and follow-ups ensured that the project went as smoothly as possible even with the onslaught of typical New England wintery weather, and in spite of the weather, they ensured the job was completed in a timely manner and left my property neat and clean. The roof its self is smart-looking and people driving by stop to look at it. A neighbor came over to inquire about the project and is considering a new roof from ECMR after seeing the quality of the job well done. This high-level of professionalism and quality of workmanship sets ECMR far above the competition and I definitely recommend the company for future business.

I had the pleasure of working with ECMR and Chris L. over 1 year ago when I had part of our home roofed by ECMR. They did a fabulous job with that project and so when it came time to complete the roof, obviously I contacted Chris again. I am so pleased with the job, completed ahead of schedule and beautiful. The crew is phenomenal, working in frigid weather and did a magnificent job. The job site was as clean as could be, considering there was 4+ inches of snow on the ground! Shaun L. was the job site manager and was readily available for any of the questions we had, helped clean up the debris once the snow melted, and couldn't have been more gracious. Fabulous company, superb work and our home looks 'Marvelous'!

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE WITH ECMR! After a consultation in my home with Project Specialist Christopher Lacky of East Coast Metal Roofing on December 9th, 2020, and after a bit of negotiation, my wife and I decided to purchase a new metal roof from these folks. At the time of the consult, Chris informed me that he believed he could schedule our new roof installation for mid-February, just in time for my birthday... On February 3rd the work began. After watching them work for a while, it was obvious that this crew was quite obviously a seasoned, well oiled machine! They were all true PROFESSIONALS! In closing, everyone I had contact with from December 9th, 2020 through February 5th, 2021 was very professional and courteous with us. Every single physical contact was also met with their face masks on and COVID recommended guidelines adhered to. FINAL THOUGHTS; New roofs are a big deal. Literally tons of work and debris to address. ECMR did it as well as we could possibly expect given the sheer scope and magnitude of the work involved, including navigating the logistics around constantly changing weather conditions. If your experience with ECMR is similar to mine, I canâ t imagine that you would be anything less than completely satisfied with the entire process from consultation to work completion. During the winter of 2015, like many, we had to deal with ice dams that resulted in a lot of water damage to my home. Living next to a brook during the summer my roof was also the victim of moss that was creeping under the shingles. Realizing I needed to fix my roof I started to research the web for a remedy. After reviewing many companies, I decided on East Coast Metal Roofing and their permalock aluminum shingles. Within days I met with Product Specialist Chris Lacky at my home to discuss their product. Chris was friendly and knowledgeable about their system and answered all my questions. My wife and I decided ECMR was our choice. Shaun LaForce, Quality Control Supervisor, and his roofing crew arrived and worked non-stop removing the shingles and rebuilding the roof of my 1903 house. This was hard work and Shaun and the roofing crew not only impressed us, but my neighbors enjoyed watching the workers and their expert installation. Dave, the salesperson, was fantastic. He was available anytime I needed to talk to him. Even though he was the person I first met with, he was always there for us from the beginning to the end of the job. He was just a call or text away. Overall this was an excellent experience. Our main contact person Andrew Bousquet stayed in contact with us through the entire process. Andrew was also very responsive to all our questions. The install crew showed up on time each morning and â Got to workâ . When we needed the install crew to adjust their work schedule ,due to our virtual business meetings, they were very accommodating. The finished product looks awesome and it is the last roof we will ever need to install. I would highly recommend East Coast Metal Roofing.

Chris, the product specialist, was extremely thorough, professional and polite in presenting the value proposition to my wife and I. He kept in touch throughout the entire project and was available all the time at a moments notice. The install team consisting of Constantine, Nick, Alberto, Geovonie, Carlos, Arturlo and Heimi(Jimmy) were extremely polite, professional and meticulous in installing our new ECM aluminum roof. Alberto and his team were the hardest workers I have ever seen, stripping the entire roof of the house off in only one day and in 90+ degree heat! The entire job was completed in just 3.5 days. They hung tarps off the roof so stripped roofing material was confined to an area very close to the house and cleaned up debris as it was created, throwing it in the provided dumpster. They also ran heavy duty magnets over the grass, walkways and driveway around the house to find any "stray" roofing nails. They left the jobsite as they had found it, clean and neat. Our home now has an amazing new, durable, ECM aluminum roof with a lifetime warranty. We will never have to worry about putting on another roof in our lifetime and if we ever want to sell our home, there is a transferrable warranty. Best decision we have ever made, best craftsmanship on a roofing product we have ever seen and best / most professional installation we have ever experienced.

From consultation to final day of install, Chris Lacky was always available when I called and was sure to check in to make sure that the project was going as scheduled. The time it took for a complete job was well within his projections and the roofing crew was terrific. Each day of the 2 day job, they left my property just as clean as when they arrived. They took care to protect anything that was near the house. There were no surprises - everything happened just as Chris said it would. I'd recommend East Coast Metal Roofing to anyone who's in the market for a roof replacement.

Where do you start, well first with Andrew who came to the house, his knowledge and explaining all the pros & cons about getting a metal roof he knows his stuff. The crew that came to the house to install the roof they did a great job and the clean up you would never know work was done on the roof. Next day Kevin came out to look at the final product finished, again another great person.. Bottom line they are a great company to deal with and I would without question spread the word that if your looking for a metal roof, its a must to call EAST COAST METAL ROOFING..I'm the second home in the neighborhood that has used them

This company exceeded my expectations! Chris Lackey did not oversell this company or product. The installation crew were the hardest workers I have ever seen. It was great to have Sean Azarbin, Quality Manager, stop by regularly to assure all was done right. The property was spotless before they left. I cannot day enough about the company or product. It did not meet my expectations... it definitely exceeded all of my wife s and my expectations!!!
