We are very happy with our experience with Better Way Home Improvement and we are very happy to recommend them. The price was significantly lower than most of the other bids we got. The price was so much lower than other companies, that we were unsure about it. However, we looked at several other houses in Worcester where Better Way had installed siding, and they all looked great. So we went with these guys, and we are glad that we did. Their work displays a dedication to detail and excellent craftsmanship. We have a 1920 house that has rather unique moldings along the fascia boards. It is not the sort of thing you see on modern houses. Greg was able to replicate the look better than I had thought would be possible. We also have an unusual type of corner piece that Greg had said he would not be able to replicate -- everyone we spoke to said it could not be replicated. On the day the job started, Greg told us he figured out a way to do it. And he did it! They showed up every day at 7:30 AM, ready to go. They got the job done on time. Greg was here every day personally on the job. Although from what I have seen, his crew is also very good at what they do. And finally when it was all done, they did a thorough job of cleaning up after themselves. You can't tell now this house was recently a construction site. Our neighbors were so impressed with the work ethic, the courtesy and professionalism, and the quality of the work that they took the companies phone number.

Overall we are pleased with the work. Greg and his crew were professional and knowledgeable throughout. They even came back Saturday to finish the job.

Based on Angie's List ratings I selected a number of potential contractors to bid on our window replacement job. In all, nine contractors were solicited. All companies I contacted expressed interest in the work but only one never delivered a proposal, Better Way Home Improvement! After waiting a week following my initial contact (via Angie's List) and receiving no response, I called Greg directly to ask if he was going to submit a proposal he responded "I will come at 9 AM Sunday morning to look at the job". And he did. He said I would receive his proposal in a few days. After waiting another week with no response I called Greg again and asked if he was going to submit a proposal? He said he would provide his proposal in no more than a couple of days. After waiting an additional 6 days, I selected a contractor to do the job. The work could have started two weeks earlier if Greg had simply said up front that he was too busy to provide a proposal..

If you are looking for a contractor for siding stop right here. Hire Greg and his team!! You will not regret it. We are very happy with the quality of the job and Greg's team. Very professional from start to finish. Always on time, very easy to work with and very competitive price, we had few estimates but Greg was above all, followed up before and after the job was done. Talked to Greg on phone and got quick response and estimate during the weekend. The quotation is reasonable. Once the work started, it went very smoothly and quickly. The team started with the patio door, entrance door, and several windows and finished in 2 days. Everything fit perfectly after installation. Siding work took about 1 week to complete - removed old wooden siding and added new vinyl siding. Greg fixed some rotten board underneath and replaced with new ones. The siding looked great and the overall quality was excellent, some details were addressed after discussing with him. Daily cleaning was also great. Tall chimney was a challenge but they did a great job in just a half day. I felt secured and confident working with them. During past few weeks after work completion, I found the rain water draining is working much better than before; no worry about any leak and rotten siding, board, window sills, etc. The entire house exterior looks refreshed and I got a lot of compliments from neighbors - thanks for the professional work by Greg and his team.

Greg and team did a beautiful job on our house. Better than we expected for the price. He helped us choose an economical product and make it look nice with special trim. The job was done complete and on time (except for some weather holdups). We would recommend Greg and company!

The siding looks great. Communication was great. As a condo manager, I couldn't be on site throughout the entire project and the contractor sent before and after photos where there was rot, was always available for my call, and stuck to the time frames he provided. Price was also very reasonable. Would hire them again.

Greg was fully knowledgeable about the Hardie board installation and paid close attention to detail. He started the work within 6 weeks of acceptance the quote and finished in 1 week. The Hardie board color and surface matched the rest of the house perfectly. His price was $4,000 to $6,000 less than three other quotes.

Unfortunately, during even a moderate rain the gutters overflow. I believe this is caused by the gutter covers that Better Way put on during the installation process. Greg has ensured me he will rectify this problem. I will update this review when that happens.
