HVAC repairs and it went well, no issues, they were professional

From the estimator ,to the secretary to the plumber they are obnoxious and rude.Once they get your signature they don't want to hear any problems.The rudest people I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with,questions and making a payment on bill is a big deal, unorganized. The prices are the same as other plumbers on the cape ,they cant even say thank you when you turn over three thousand dollars.Enjoy the money it is the last they will get from me.

We have well water. The plumber was on time. He came when he said he would and did a fine job in a timely fashion. Would consider them again.

I called in the midst of freezing weather and prior to a snowstorm and they sent someone out late on a Friday afternoon. This person did not correctly diagnose the problem but the next day Will came and I was thoroughly impressed with his professionalism, competence and ability to get to the root of the problem. His supervisor Bill came over as well, someone we have dealt with before, who is extremely professional, competent and thoughtful. He assured me we would not be charged for the service call that included the mis-diagnosis. Together, late on a Saturday afternoon, Will and Bill thoroughly assessed and diagnosed the problem (frozen pipes :( and began doing what was possible to try to unfreeze and fix them. They need to return Monday but gave me complete guidance on what to do in the meantime. We have used Reidell in the past and this experience, like all the others, was as good as it could be. I have complete confidence that they know what to do and will get it done and price the job fairly. I would not use anyone else on the Cape.

They are very prompt in addressing our issues. If they do not know what is happening they research on the internet or contact the manufacturer. They troubleshoot very well and are clean and professional.

I called 4 companies to get a bid for replacing my oil burner with a new gas boiler. Rick from Carl Riedell came and went into every room of the house, measuring my baseboard radiators. He explained in detail the work required the timeframe and to my surprise, told me that my present oil burner was too big for my needs. He followed up with a proposal in just a few days. He quickly answered all my emails. After I sent in the required paperwork, the office called with an installation date, telling me it would be a 2 day job. Dave and Will came at 7:45am, never left the premises and worked all day until 6:00pm. The next day they came early again, finishing the day at 7:00pm, leaving the basement immaculate. They did a beautiful job on the piping. My husband and I were so pleased with their work. Even the staff in the office are so pleasant to talk to. This company is wonderful.

Came after hours (price reflects that fact) exactly when promised and kept on until the problem was precisely identified and, because special, long-range drain clearing equipment was necessary, arranged for drain specialist to clear the problem. The specialist arrived within minutes because he happened to be in the area, but the timeliness was nevertheless welcome.

Took 5 minutes. Price a bit exorbitant.

Very well. Technician was extremely courteous, knowledgeable and professional. Took the time to explain things in detail and would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for plumbing work to be done properly especially if problems arise from a previous plumbing experience.

They showed up on time and finished the work in under one hour. I had a leak in the elbow of a forced hot water heating pipe. When I made the appointment they told me it was a $100 minimum charge for service, but I asked them to let me know if the work would be done in under one hour or not do it at all. I picked them because of good reviews and there was also a $25 Angie's List coupon so it cost me $75. I originally made an appointment over the web site but did not get a call from them. I phoned them a few days later and they scheduled the work right away.

The exerience was great. They were on time, professional, neat and reasonably priced.

This company has always responded promptly and with quality tecnicians. They have worked mostly with our heating system which is oil fired hotwater with radiators original to the home. Their technicians have patiently worked with us on several occasions to solve problems with inconsistent heating throughout the house. This company has always done a good job for us.

Overall the process went well. They were on-time, professional, and efficient in installation. I am very happy with the quality of the installation. The reason for the overall B rating versus an A is two-fold: (1) It took several months to force the company to actually schedule an inspection to get the permit. Basically, I requested 3 times to no avail and only after withholding payment was the inspection scheduled. (2) While the main installation was completed in an expedited fashion it took 2 weeks for the drywall to be completed on the first floor. I would have expected less time between appointments. Overall, I would use the company again as I was very confident in the quality of their work. I would hope the customer service would improve, but I could see that being a result of the small nature of my job relative to other major projects they typically complete.

I have recently purchased the property where the heating system required its annual maintenance. The service professional, Bob, was informative, focused on his task and he provided valuable information about the reliability and efficiency of the system. He also spent time outside of his service, in order to evaluated future repair and maintenance of A/C. I was impressed with the "home town" feel to the experience. I will use this company for my regular maintenance.

I purchased a dishwasher, refrigerator, and stove. The job consisted of installing a dishwasher and hook up the ice cube maker in refrigerator. The day after calling, Phil came to my house to assess the job, a price was given for the job and they were hired. The 2 men that came to my home of 2 different days were professional, polite, and punctual. Once here, they completed their portion of this job professionally. They were quiet, neat, polite, and knowledgeable in their crafts. I would hire this company again.

Excellent work, polite, professional and took the time to educate the homeowners (spouse and I) what was wrong, recommended solutions, and progress of the work. Price not the lowest, but you get what you pay for - in this case: peace of mind and a job well done.

Unfortunately I have to say that I had a horrible experience with them. It was so bad, it's why I'm taking the time to write this review, which I've never bothered to do with any service before. First off, I had to wait 3 weeks for the initial visit to happen. At the time I called and made the first appointment with them, one of the problems I explained I needed fixed was to have a sink unclogged and have the water pressure in one of the bathrooms checked. Neither of these things were done when the Riedell service man showed up for his appointment. All that the person who came for the visit did was tell me all about the very expensive things that he felt needed to be fixed with the furnace. He also acted like they were all total emergencies that needed repairing right away, which I've come to find out isn't true. He didn't even know how to find the main water shut off valve for the house. Once he was done looking at everything the repair guy said the company would get back in touch with me to set up a follow up appointment. I waited for them to do that for a few days but didn't hear from them so I called them and they apologized for not getting back to me but said they hadn't looked over the order and so once they did they would call me back to make the follow up service appointment. So then I waited a week once again and they never did call back to set up any more appointments but the owner left a message saying he wanted to talk to me about how the original workman didn't do what he was suppose to. The owner and I then played phone tag for a week. Their one receptionist Bridget was extremely short and rude with me when I called back for the 5th time to speak with the owner. I finally got a hold of the owner and HE COULD HAVE CARED LESS about all the problems and terrible service that I'd dealt with his company. THIS IS THE OWNER! I will not be using them again ever. Update: I have just had another heating a plumbing company come over and they did everything that Riedell was suppose to do and faster and much more efficiently. They also knew much more about my heating boiler and were able to test my antifreeze and let me know that it was tested just before we moved in and was in fine condition. So that means the Riedell service man didn't know how to find a main water shut off valve, wasn't able to test the antifreeze (and actually told me that you can't test the antifreeze) and didn't do any of the fixes I said needed to be done while he was here. By far the worst $95.00 I ever spent. They apparently are one of those big companies that just don't care. Update 2: Yes, I did in fact eventually yell at your employee after the FOURTH TIME having to call you back after waiting for 3 weeks for you to call ME to make another appointment LIKE YOUR RECEPTIONIST SAID ON 3 DIFFERENT SPREAD OUT OCCASIONS THAT YOU WOULD BE DOING. Also, when your man was at my home, I in NO WAY got in his way and he should've easily been able to access everything within an hour to make his accessment AND unclogged the sink. He couldn't even find the main shut water shut off valve! The other company I hired after you certainly was able to do that and everthing else in an hour and they told me the truth about what was going on with my heating and didn't try to GOUGE me with unnecessary heating repairs. At the very least you should be apologizing AND giving me a FULL REFUND, not making up lies and excuses for your horrendously poor service. F F F F F F F F FAIL! Update 3: What a bunch of baloney. Nothing but absolute lies in your response. How did I not let the guy finish any of the 3 things he was suppose to do when he didn't even try to do 2 of them? I was downstairs the whole time he was here. Reread the truth about the 3, not 5, people I dealt with. You're absolutely lying. Just like in your response to the other review where you were given an F. You are not the highest rated plumbing company AND you are the only one who has received F grades. And of course I'm angry for getting ripped off! Stop lying, apologize for not doing what you were suppose to and being beyond RUDE and give me a refund.

Called for service, they rresponded quicklly and repaired quickly.

They were prompt and did an excellent job. About a week later one of the filters wasn't working correctly and lowered the water pressure. They came over the same day and replaced it. We now have clean, fresh tasting well water that doesn't leave our clothes stained.
