The mission of this company when it was founded here in Osterville over 80 years ago was to serve the customers with honest, affordable and reliable service. Over the years we have made an effort to provide the best service possible to our customers. It is the people of the company that determines its success. We still remain a family run corporation with an extremely highly trained group of professional technicians. As a company, we are making a promise to consistently deliver quality service to you. Awoke one morning and discovered burner would not come on. Called Riedell. Was told that they could send a service technician that afternoon. Technician came as promised and quickly resolved the problem. Angie's list discount helped pay for the service call.

the person responding to my call was polite, and they cleaned up after themselves, even going so far as to replace the things I have stored under the sink. I had them on the floor next to the sink, and was surprised to find them put away for me. They explained what was needed, but they had to leave my home to go to a wharehouse for the part.

"Well nothing like slandering a company for fixing a problem. The call was received for no heat and hot water. We fixed the problem and we did notify the the customer. If you read the customers first sentence, it reads: Had a call for no heat and hot water. Later the customer said that he really only wanted the hot water fixed. My tech was to know this? This customer was not home at the time of the call. However a female representative was home and was told of the zone valve problem. Further more I did credit the customer a half hour for the problem with the pilot which is a factory defect. This Customer had not used us before. It seem to me that he is the type of person who likes to complain about anything. Carl f Riedell doesn't replace parts that are not required or are not Authorized to put in by the customer. If He didn't want system fixed why did he call. Guy Riedell 3rd Generation"

Contacted Carl F. Riedell Plumbing to repair faucet and toilet in rental property. They contacted my tenant immediately, conducting repairs within 2 days. Tenant was thrilled at the response. Work performed was excellent. The part required for the toilet was not standard, but they were able to procure and replace. I highly recommend them.

Called Riedell for a gas pipe install and had someone over within a couple of hours. The rep came over, went into the crawl space under the house (which was pretty dirty and had difficult access) and gave me a estimate for the work. Very professional. I hired them for the job and the install went quickly, without any issues, and came in well below the estimated price. They arrived exactly when they said they would, and did excellent work

We noticed that we were getting no cold air through the vents in the upper part of our house, which is cooled through a unit in the attic. I called this company and they were able to send someone over right away, which was terrific as we were planning on leaving town that evening. They came very quickly and diagnosed the problem. In the winter, we had shut many of the vents into our family room to direct more hot airflow into our son's bedroom. However, that meant that there was not enough air movement for the air conditioner output, so the condenser had frozen up. They let me know that there was a problem with the drip tray under the unit, namely that we didn't know we had one up there and were supposed to empty it. It did not have a drain or an automatic shut off valve, and was full. Had the condenser thawed and dripped water into the already full tray, it likely would have resulted in a leak in our ceiling. They installed the auto-shut off valve so the unit can't turn back on if the drip tray is full, then came back twice to see if the unit had thawed enough for them to make sure there was no damage. Based on the hourly price I was quoted, I was expecting the bill to be between $400 and $500; instead, it was about $250. I will be calling them for all my plumbing, heat and cooling issues from now on.

Every person in the company that's been to my house has been very professional and good to work with. They are very good at telling you what you need to do versus what you should do. They don't try and over-sell. When my boiler was initially leaking, the on-call person took several phone calls from me to help reduce the severity of the issue so we didn't get hit with a weekend call. Then the company was sure to be out the next day. Currently looking at using them for a new heater/hot water unit. The sale person that came over for the site survey was very informative and provided us with several options to choose from - and didn't over-pitch the pricey-est ones.
