+ -1 moreTo continue, these three men never once spoke a bad word, were very protective of our surrounding plants and cleaned up the yard in the end to spotless shape. I made the right choice with this company.
Description of Work: This crew of three arrived as scheduled and completed the work in one day. They were highly skilled, very professional, polite, and treated my trees like their own. They trimmed the very large oak in the backyard and a smaller cherry in the front. They removed approximately 15% of branches from each tree as I had asked.

+ -1 moreI was pleased with what they did. Overall, they did a good job. However, one of the small bushes that I asked them to take down they did not take down so I had to hire another company to take it down. I felt the cost was high, but I knew it would be. One of the things that I had hoped would have happened is that I could be around when they were doing the trimming because I know what needs trimming. I had it written down on paper, but if they didn’t understand I wanted to be there. I wasn’t told when they were coming. I would consider hiring them again in the future, but I would want them to follow my directions better and to have me on the site.
Description of Work: I hired them for tree and shrub trimming.

Description of Work: They come 2-3 times a year to take care of our sprinkler system. It’s $75 to turn the system on and off. They also installed the system as well. They provide us with tree services too.

+ -1 moreThey did a great job. They positioned their bucket truck after asking me if there were any piped or other concerns to watch out for. They took their time moving the bucked through existing trees being careful that neither end of the bucket arm damaged anything else. They took care to support the damaged tree so it would not put more pressure on the roof. They cut the tree in pieces and made sure that each piece landed in the yard and not on the roof of gutters. They cleaned up what they cut and chipped it and were on their way pretty quickly. They were polite and professional.
Description of Work: A pitch pine, about 8" in diameter, got knocked over in one of the recent storms. It landed on our roof, supported by one big branch. Not all of the weight of the tree was on our roof. I had an estimate from Bartlett for some other service that I did not do. I called their office, but it was President's day so I left a message on their answering machine. I could have connected to an emergency number but I did not consider it an emergency as the tree was not doing any damage. Since I had the old quote I also had the email address for the person from Bartlett. I sent him an email and within minutes he responded, even though it was not only a holiday but he was off Cape taking some personal time. The next morning a fellow showed up to give me a verbal quote and schedule the work. He said it would be $300 and they would have a crew in my area probably the next day. By noon the next day I was a little concerned. I emailed my contact again, he responded within minutes again, and said the crew would be here around 3:00. I think it was about 2:30 when they showed up. They very carefully got their bucket up to put a pulley on another tree, then used a rope to the broken tree to support it's weight. Very carefully, piece by piece, they took the bad tree down in pieces and made sure nothing hit the roof. They chipped the debris, cleaned up what they cut, and were on their way in about an hour. I emailed my contact again to thank him and learned that the fee would be $275 instead of the $300 of the original estimate.

+ -1 moreThey came out and took a soil samples. They said they would call back in a week or two. I call several times and they kept putting me off. Finally they said they lost the soil sample. They came out again and took another soil sample. They lost it again. Later they called me to tell me that I was delinquent on a payment. I told them they never did anything for me. I would not rate them very well.

+ -1 moreHe came out and told me he could do the job for $800 but that he coucln't guarantee that the power wouldn't go out. He tried to scare me into having the job done and finally admitted that I should call a utility contractor because he wasn't really qualified to work on trees that were leaning on a power line. He was rude and I ended up calling someone else to do the job.
Description of Work: I had trees fall on my power lines and on my car so I called them to come out and take care of the problem.
