I was really happy with the completed project I asked him to do. I contacted him through a Angie's List search. He came to my house, discussed the work I needed to have done and gave me ideas on bigger projects I am planning on doing in the near future. I am looking forward to working with him on the higher end/more complex projects such as reconfiguring/renovating the second floor of my house, updating the kitchen & bathrooms and some other miscellaneous carpentry projects. He was very personable and trustworthy - which is important to me as the work he did was while I was at work. I felt comfortable having him in my house and completing the job without needing me "watching over" him.
Description of Work: Paul did a few handy man projects that I needed to have done. He changed the lock & knob on my front door, moved & repaired furniture and moved it from one floor to another and hung some things on the wall.

Paul and his assistant, Kevin, showed up 15 minutes before the appointed time and began work. When the trim was removed and the structure exposed, I could not believe what I saw! The window frame was completely rotted through on one of the four north-facing windows and the other three were badly compromised and my worst fears were confirmed; this problem had been building up since day one. I thought I was really in for it when I saw the extent of the damage. Paul estimated that it would cost about $2000 to do the project but said he would be working on time and materials so I'm mentally preparing myself for 10% or 20% overage or worse. but the two of them worked quickly and efficiently, got it done ahead of schedule, gave me a bill for $1186 and were on their way leaving a very happy customer in their wake! Highly recommended!
