I had an excellent experience with Tom. He called back with in minutes of my requesting a quote for the job. We made arrangements to meet 2 days later so he could look at what the job entails. He showed up on time discussed exactly what I needed and quoted a very reasonable price. The job was wiring power outlet and cable pass through for a new TV. TV was actually delivered a week earlier then originally planned and Tom was willing to come out the day before delivery so Tv could be installed day of delivery. The work was neat and professional done and I am very happy with the final result. I highly recommend Tom for all your electrical needs, if I could have given him 6 stars I would have.

He is extremely pleasant and made a great first impression as well as when he returned to do the project. The project was repairing a shoddy job done by a neighbor s referral. There were two ceiling hugger fans which didn t hug the ceiling. When he took the paddles off I noticed how dirty they were. I decided to clean them. Tom was reinstalling them faster than I could wash. He didn t lose patience and stayed on the ladder until I was done. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs an electrician.

I had a bathroom remodeled. The project started as a disaster. I had fired 2 contractors, lost money and time and really did not know where else to turn to. I was suggested to try Angie list, and so I did. I got in contact with Mr. Mc Caffrey, I did not have much faith however he surpassed and exceeded all my expectations. He was on time and showed up for work each single day he promised he would. The price was competitive and the bathroom was done in 10 days. The job included a jet tub,installation,plumbing, carpentry, electrical and tile work. I am greatly appreciative and will recommend Mr. Mc Caffrey at any time.

I highly recommend Tom McCaffrey! The underground feeder to my house partially failed (one wire). Tom was fantastic - came on a Sunday to look over the job, provide me with a quote (I knew it was expensive - about 120 feet of underground). On Monday he came and hooked up a transfer switch so I could at least have part power to my house (and running water!) Because Tuesday was New Year's nothing happened. On Wednesday he show up on time with helpers. They really busted their tail - pulling the wires out was very tough. Turned out the 90 degree elbow below ground had failed, conduit was full of dirt, water and... acorns! Lots of critters here. By Wednesday afternoon National Grid made the final connections and we have our power restored. Very happy with the service and professionalism. I have other electrical work that needs to be done and plan on hiring him again!

I have been a real estate Broker/Owner since 1986 and Tom McCaffrey is the consummate professional in all that he does... From the initial phone call by answering all of my questions and he answered all of them and made additional comments on the ones that needed an additional explanation which is rare for a contractor to do... In other words, he is very patient and knowledgable about all aspects of electrical work needed on any residential home or condo... He showed up when he said he would to start the job (hanging a chandelier, installing recessed lighting and under the counter lighting in our Kitchen - his work was some of the very best I've seen in 35+ years of being a real estate broker in Massachusetts...

He is very thorough, will not do a crappy job. He stays with the work until it is done, works very well with the customer. I would recommend him to anyone.
