Mark was recommended by a friend. We got quotes from 3 contractors and his was $3-7K lower than the other two. Had a bit of a rocky start getting the job going, but Mark met us at Lowes and spent several hours with us going through and helping us pick out things for the remodeled bathroom. When there were issues with getting the toilet and shower valve, he was very patient and persistent in helping us get what we wanted. Because the house only has 1 bathroom, we left the house for a little over a week while Mark and his guys removed sink, toilet and shower. Mark understood the inconvenience of not being able to live in our home, and he and his guys pushed very hard to get the bathroom in a condition where we could come back and be able to live there while he finished up the rest of the work. Also, during the demolition phase, Mark noticed that because of the way the joists in the floor were running, we could change the design of the bathroom to get a much larger shower area. He had the initiative to propose the idea to us, rather than just going through with the original plan, and we are very happy that we ended up with a much better bathroom layout. Mark also provided good advice on some of the selections we had to make and also was always ready and willing to answer questions concerning the details of the remodeling. Mark and his guys kept the house clean while they were doing their work, mopping up floors several times to get rid of plaster dust. I am not an expert on these matters, but we are very satisfied with the quality of the work. In particular, Mark and his guys did a great job on the tile floor, tile shower floor, and subway tile walls. I would definitely use them again for future jobs and recommend them to friends.

THE EXPERIENCE WAS HORRIBLE. THE MATERIALS THEY USED WERE CHEAP, THE CONSTRUCTION SHODDY. IT'S ONLY BEEN A YEAR AND THE CONCRETE FOUNDATION OF THE FENCE IS CRUMBLING AND PIECES OF THE RETAINING WALL ARE COMING APART. ALSO, THE WORK TOOK ABOUT SIX MONTHS TO COMPLETE WHEN WE WERE TOLD IT WOULD BE DONE IN TWO WEEKS.
