E.A Masonry

I contacted EA Masonry on June 8 2020 to have them quote on a patio installation. The scheduled appointment was for June 13 2020 at 8:00 am . As a follow up I sent a detailed text with the house address and time of appointment . I got a return text with a confirmation. On June 13th no one showed , no phone call, no text. Very disrespectful.

We had a concrete patio that was riddled with cracks and upheavals. E.A masonry did a wonderful job. They removed the old patio and put in a completely new one. They were very professional, as well as courteous. They cleaned up everything. I would hire these gentlemen again and I would recommend them to friends and neighbors thank you

Outstanding job by Dan and his crew. From start to finish they were professional, punctual, worked hard, cleaned up and finished the job as planned. Their work is top notch, I would definitely call them again and highly recommend them to others.

I have nothing but high praise for E A Masonry. They came and did the job when promised. Luis called me on a Friday, and said they would be starting at 8:00am on Monday. They arrived at 8:00am sharp and finished on Wednesday at noon. The job quality was excellent, my patio and walk are beautiful! And the clean up was well beyond what I expected. They are very professional. They gave me a fair price and they showed up to do the work when they scheduled to do it. They did a terrific job and did it quickly and neatly. The cleanup was fantastic after they Left it looked as if they had never been there except for the terrific masonry work they did on the steps. I would strongly recommend them

Daniel and his team did a wonderful job. They were punctual and efficient. Our new stairs look like a work of art and were completed (with clean) in under 1 week. Would 100% hire them again.

EA Masonry was excellent in all respects. They were responsive, open with all communications, fair in their prices, prompt and efficient in performing the work, and the work product is excellent. There are several service providers that excel in a few of those things, but I have found it is rare for one to excel in all of them. We will definitely use them again.

I had significant repointing work needed on my chimney and front stairs, one step needed rebuilding completely. E.A. Masonry was responsive, knowledgeable and did a great job. Very easy to work with from quote through to completion. I would re-hire them and I recommend them.

I had the pleasure of working with EA Masonry on repair work to my front steps and chimney. The team was timely in getting me a quote for the work and did a great job of keeping me updated as to when they would be by (for example, the originally scheduled date was rained out). I was astonished as the attention to detail on the work done. We had had the chimney power washed in May and it still had debris on it. The EA team made the chimney look like new. The stair repair work is meticulously done. They look brand new. The team also cleaned up the work area. I also appreciated how the team updated me on what had been done so that I was aware of all of the work (i.e. they had to replace two bricks). Overall, I'm thrilled. Thank you EA!

The job was fantastic they are very professional the job took two days they cleaned up everything. I will be hiring them again for my stairs.

I contacted Dan through Angie's List and the next day he evaluated my 91 year old mother's front brick steps, railings and cracked concrete walk leading to the stairs. He gave her a very fair price and did an outstanding job. My mother lives on her own and Dan kept both her and me, by texts and photos ,informed of the project as it progressed. He was very professional and courteous and left the work area clean.

E.A. Masonry has come through for us time and time again. They are friendly, their prices are reasonable, and their amazing work speaks for itself. We purchased a home with badly crumbling stone steps and a disaster of a backyard, and EA transformed the area. They replaced the front steps with gorgeous stone stairs with slate treads. They removed the cracked brick walkway and dangerous stone wall in our backyard, then brought in dirt to level and hydroseed the yard. They also installed a large stone patio where the warped deck was. Now our yard is flat, lush and safe for our kids to play in. Most recently, they came back to save the day after a terrible contractor put in some wooden steps leading from our back door to the new patio. That guy dripped cement all over the new patio and the landing he poured for the stairs was a mess. EA cleaned and repaired everything and the patio looks good as new again. I couldn't speak higher of these guys! They are the best!

Dan was awesome to work with, this company is the most professional that I’ve seen, all the guys are extremely friendly and a pleasure to watch work. They started when they said and finished when they said. I will recommend them to everyone that asks about their work needed.

EA Masonry came recommended by friends and Angie's List as well. The work they did was extensive--repairing 80 year old stone walls, widening our driveway and installing pavers instead of asphalt, reconstructing and reconfiguring the stairs coming down to the driveway, excavating and rebuilding walls. Their communication was excellent. They were fast but didn't cut a single corner. They worked closely with us to track down pavers that would match the walkway we had put in years ago. They added underground drainage from downspouts. And they are such nice guys! We have already arranged for them to do more work for us. I would recommend them without hesitation. We just could not be happier with the result.

They were very responsive offering a same day estimate and a scheduled work date less than a week later. The work was very well done and after we had some florescence they came right back over and cleaned it up. It hasn't occurred since.

Update to my original review. About 6 months after job was complete I called ea masonry to ask how to get leaf stains off my steps that I was having issues with, rather than call me back the guys came out and took the time to do it themselves. I cannot say enough about this company. Top notch people and top notch work.

EA Masonry recently completed repairs on a 40+ year old concrete stairwell. This work included replacing two stairs, rebuilding the foundation wall, and resurfacing the entire stairwell. The entire job went very well from my initial contact to get a quote to the completed work. Dan promptly returned my phonecall and visited to provide a quotation. The work was then scheduled and Dan contacted me one day in advance of arriving to ensure he and his team could do the work. The team arrived on time and was very professional during the entire job. The workmanship was excellent. They were also very respectful of the property and cleaned up everything upon completion of the job. I am very impressed with the work they completed and would highly recommend this company.

E.A. Masonry demoed my chimney down to the mantle, as it was pulling away from my house and creating a dangerous situation. They worked carefully to remove the chimney brick by brick and placed a lovely stone cap on the remaining five feet. They also flashed the stone and took the chimney down a little lower than I had originally asked them to, with no extra cost and no complaints. Very friendly, professional, punctual, and communicative. I would definitely hire them again.

Fantastic! They came to my house for an estimate on a Saturday and did the job that Monday. They didn't just patch it up but rather they completely replaced the concrete at the entrance to the garage. They take great pride in their work and it truly shows! Their work is truly an art form! Service is just as important as price for me when hiring a contractor for anything. This company far exceeded my expectations! They showed up on time, were very polite and informative, worked hard, cleaned up meticulously -- and the price was very good on top of all that! I am so glad I found this company! I will certainly use them again and I HIGHLY recommend them! Again...fantastic!

Daniel replied to my call immediately and came round a few hours later to give me a quote. The job started and finished on time. All members of the Arango family were pleasant, professional and a joy to work with. They went above and beyond what they promised. Only time will tell but the completed wall looks great and has been commented on by neighbors. They had also mentioned how much work E A Masonry had done, ( I was not there for most of the project). I cannot say anything wrong about Luis and his sons and will definitely hire them again.

I originally hired them for a new chimney cap, chimney repair & pointing a field stone foundation. The team was punctual, informative, reasonably priced, and cleaned up daily. Based on the work they just completed, I then hired them to tear out an old cement landing and replaced it with granite and field stone. Very happy with all of the work they performed.

We got multiple quotes. They were the only company that was willing to help fix our railing, instead of replacing, which saved us thousands. They cleaned up after themselves each day & did a great job. We would use them again in the future.
