Very prompt and responsive, take time to explain and answer questions, always look for the most economical solution, and don't try to sell you anything you don't need. Yesterday came back to tweak a job done a week earlier and didn't charge anything for the follow-up service call. Excellent, quality work--highly recommended.

Description of Work: I haves used Davco over the past 10 years for my business. This time, I needed him to come in and check out the age and condition of both the HVAC and heating units in my building that I lease before I renewed my lease. Eric is an honest, hard working guy who cares about his clients. He went above and beyond, calling the manufacturer of my systems to get the exact date they were installed. He advised me on what is would be to fix depending on what parts may need to be replaced and when in his opinion. If it wasn't for Eric, I would have signed the lease not realizing that I would have to pay a lot of money considering my units were over 20 years old. I had my attorney change the lease and am very happy with the outcome. When I do need anything fixed on my units, I would not go with anyone else. I trust Eric!

Description of Work: Kenny quickly identified the problem - the fan on the room seized due to rusting and needed to be replaced. I saved about 50% by doing much of the install myself and hiring an AC guy to connection the refrigerant lines, pressure test and release the refrigerant into the system. The online retailer will provide a warranty even though the manufacture will not because the unit was not purchased through an authorized (expensive) distributer.
Description of Work: They would not install the Mini Split Ductless Air Conditioner that I purchased online, so I found another AC guy to do the job.

Eric and company were very responsive and knowledgeable. The job was explained very well and the timing of the work was setup great. Eric gave me a run through of how the system works and what we can expect now being a customer of Davco Air. Great company and would definitely recommend these guys.

It went great - the service provider was prompt, quickly diagnosed the problem and though the repair was simple, provided a little extra assurance it would stay repaired by securing the wires on both our AC units so neither would have the same wiring problem again. Previously these folks installed an AC unit for us last year, did maintenance on our old unit earlier this year and now saved us from a metaphorical meltdown. All household occupants happy. Thanks, Davco.

Great. Estimate was not the lowest but I was able to negotiate it down a bit. They had the furnace I wanted and did a nice job on the installation. Very responsive and professional throughout.

Went great - I was not home but the person who received him said he was courteous, professional, quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. All about maintenance - the filters on the system needed to be cleaned/replaced and he re-charged the AC unit with fresh refrigerant. Davco easily gave us an appt and he was timely in keeping it. The person who met him at the house is in a wheelchair with MS so it was critical to get the AC fixed in the heat of the summer.

Let me start by saying I emailed and called many other top rated HVAC companies on angieslist, Davco was the only one who called me back and was able to come even after normal business hours the same day (It was 90 degrees and humid) and I have newborn twins so I needed my AC fixed right away. Eric showed up when he said he would and fixed the problem right away. Eric was great to deal with! He gave me a bunch of advice about my system. He got my central AC started up in less than a minute then spent the rest of the hour cleaning my central ac unit outside, then replaced my thermostat and changed the filter. I would definitely hire him again and plan on using him to service my furnace.

Fabulous Eric and both sub contractors (electrician and duct fabricators) were super. It took 2 weeks longer than the initial estimate. The duct fabricator got backed up, but other than that great.

It was good and went very well. They were very professional. We brought them out for what we thought would be a very expensive job, and instead of doing that job, they told us about a very simple fix that we could do to save a lot of money. They are good and we would recommend them.

We weren't ready to pay another 7700 dollars. We would go to them for another quote. He was on time, professional, and upfront with me because he told me I could get a better deal from a a larger company since they are a father/son company.

They had been out several weeks prior and there was no indication that there was a problem. I was kind of annoyed that I was getting billed for. I'm not using them anymore. We were in dispute for several hundred dollars. The price was fine. I'm probably going to go to other company.

We appreciated your lovely letter dated Dec 22, 2010 in which you stated you were pleased and you looked forward to receiving the offered 10% discount on your next service. During the very intense heat wave of last summer every effort was made to coordinate with the actual landlord. All information which ultimately directed him toward the decision to replace the old failing system that served your location with a new air conditioning system was provided to him in a timely fashion. He deliberated for quite some time, which we understand left your issue unresolved, but was beyond our control. Ultimately he chose a company he had prior relationship with. Eric was punctual, neat, and above all honest, so I would have to say it was a pleasant experience.
Description of Work: Replaced blown transformer caused by a wire broken by siding contractor. After an electrician replaced the wire a new contractor was installed. Cleaned both units and added additional Freon.
