They were excellent. Prompt, responsive, professional, pleasant. Called Sunday morning. They were there when they said they would be. Did an excellent job. Resolved the issue. Would use them again. Excellent in every what!!

MassSave required an inspection for knob and tube wiring before performing any other work. Castle Electric provided a prompt response, fair price and excellent service.

Jim was very nice and knowledgeable when he initially came to my house.. I asked him to give me the estimate and it took about 2 weeks to get it. I responded to the estimate by phone and email. We had a lot of trouble connecting over the next few months, but I did hire him and the work was done quite well. The final cost was $25 over the initial estimate.

They came as promised, did the work, and were very professional. They worked quickly, and it was as promised. When I had a question about the work, they came back and addressed it- the lights looked crooked to me, and what was actually crooked was the ceiling in my 100 year old home. Oh well!

Everything went great from beginning to end only took about 1.5 hour(s). Pleasant experience and the guys were entertaining.

Everything they did was fine. They were accommodating as they could be; they did seem a little inundated as a response to the Big Deal.

The workers who came out did a good job. However, the owner has not followed through with giving estimate.

Because of the minimal nature of the work, I asked if $50 of the service fee could go toward replacing the offending fixture. The answer was no. I thought conceding a little in this area would go a long way toward good customer service and PR. That disappointed me. I will not use them to complete the work.

I had Prescott Jr. out for the initial quote, he took his notes and told me that because of the size of the work he would like Sr. to come out and give me the final quote. After he came out, he gave me the offer online within 24 hours and we set a start date for the work. There was chaos in the house as both levels of the house were down to the studs and there was work everywhere. Plumbers were working, the HVAC company was working me and my dad were doing other work on the house and they just juggled their work in the chaos. Oh i should also mention that i was on a very tight schedule. They handled it like the pros they are! Also he came up with the most optimal layout for the recessed lights and the kitchen outlets, everything else was made by code. All employees that came to my house were very respectful and professional. Also a great bonus was the fact that i could pay by credit card! I definitely recommend them and I am looking forward to upgrade my panel sometime next year.

Went well. The 2 men crew showed up on time and completed everything ahead of schedule. They kept the noise level down, were very courteous and cleaned up when they were done. They also patched up the walls where they had to cut through. Highly recommended.

We look forward to Jim and his team making the necessary repairs needed when weather temps allow.

i like these guys. i got a deal for service without knowing this company and they contacted me right away to set up an appointment. i often put this off, so the call really helped me get this project started. we scheduled a time but then i needed to reschedule -- this was not at all a problem. when the electricians came they consulted with me about the positioning of the pendant, and about a part i needed in order to install the second light. this meant i had to go get the part and set up a time for them to come back. they were agreeable to making this second visit at no extra cost. installation of the second light was successful. They have a positive and professional attitude IMO, when it comes to communicating, scheduling, arriving as scheduled, and executing the work. i will call them again for future projects.

They showed up and were very friendly. They installed to sconces, really simple stuff. They were not able to do any other projects, fix porch light, fix a fixture that need a new glass cover. They wanted to be helpful but just didn't have the skill set. They were willing to come back another time since I paid for 2 hours of work and just got 15 min. What I need fixing they didn't know how to do.

Fine. Professional job. Professional crew. Fair price for work provided. Only negative was confusion over the date I expected them to be here and when they scheduled the work.

Jim was on time (early, actually) and very friendly. He needed to borrow my cell phone to use as a flashlight--found it strange that an electrician wouldn't carry a flashlight around but hey, we all forget things. He looked in the basement and the attic then told me that he'd have to send back a couple of guys and charge us for a service call to have them to a more detailed wiring evaluation before he could quote me for the knob and tube removal. I was expecting this, I know it's a complicated job. I said I would talk to my husband and let him know early the next week. I called and left a voicemail on Tuesday saying we would like to proceed with scheduling the wiring evaluation (in total I probably called about 4 times from Tuesday to now and never once had a person answer the phone--I didn't bother leaving messages since I'd already left one Tuesday). I have yet to hear back and since we would like to move into this house before Thanksgiving I have moved on to another company.

I tried Castle Electric through an Angie's Deal. They returned my call promptly and showed up at the time requested. The work was done in a timely manner and they were very polite. I highly recommend Castle Electric.

The electrians arrived promptly. They worked efficiently. I was expecting to get my timers replaced, but they were able to repair my existing ones which saved me quite a bit of money. I appreciate the professionalism and the quality of their work. It's a great feeling to know that the people working on your home are looking out for your best interest. I would definitely use them again.

Lisa and apprentice arrived early and got right to work. The job was not as straight forward as I had believed. After much study, Lisa developed a plan and executed it to perfection. There was excellent team work and no wasted effort or time. The result was great and even though they used contractor supplied parts, they honored their original price. At the end, they thoroughly tested their installation and did a great job in cleaning the area. A light fixture had been dropped and they volunteered to replace it if there was any problem with it (there wasn't). Overall, I was very satisfied with all aspects of this job.

It went very well and they did a very neat and professional job.

Unfortunately, I cannot comment on the quality of this company's work as they never replied to the email I sent to them, using the form on their website. I tried calling and could not reach a "live person" so I left a message. I think that 24 to 48 hours is more than adequate time to respond to a potential customer in a service related field. Perhaps I'm being un reasonable here? In any case, I moved on and found another contractor who replied and scheduled the work.

They were punctual, professional, and they actually fixed the holes and notches they had to make. Other electricians left holes and plaster dust. They also made recomendations to relocate two switches they were to rewire to more accesable locations. They consulted with me before doing the work. There were no surprises. I am using them again.
