I scheduled a meeting for one week forward. On the day of the meeting, nobody showed up. I called to inquire and was told the appointment was never even added to the schedule.

They did a good job. I needed the work done quickly so I didn't compare price. They came out quick.

Excellent service. Since they were 1 town over, I stopped by their office to make appointment which was scheduled for about a day later. Met with Jim Prescott Jr to explain problem and was able to schedule an appointment for about a day later. Electrician Dana and helper arrived exactly on time, installed a new light switch, explained why old one was shorting out. All the people at Castle Electric I met were very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Will use them again whenever I need electrical work.

Owner came out for estimate and crew performed all services quoted. Finally happy to have a service provider that returns calls.

With Castle Electric it went very well and was exceptional service. With Angies list however, having submitted a much more detailed review closer to the time of the service and because of a transition in computer services or something at Angie's list it was lost in the transition, this review is much less than it was.

They were very responsive to my call, generated an on-site quote shortly after my call, and scheduled the work shortly thereafter. They pulled a town permit at my request, scheduled a prompt wiring inspection upon completion of the work, and accompanied the inspector during his inspection. The whole experience was tremendous -- they were a pleasure to deal with, both on-site and in the office.

From beginning to end Castle Electric was very responsive and very easy to work with. The 2 electricians that came out arrived on time and were very professional. We would absolutely recommend them to our friends in the area!

The men were very friendly and polite. I was feeling very sheepish for attempting the work myself and they were kind enough not to laugh at me and the mess I had made! After a few minutes of poking around, they discovered the problem and reassured me that all was now safe. They hung the new light fixture for me and were in and out in no time.

Jim showed up on time, spent ample time explaining to me what he was doing and why. Very informative. Waiting to hear quotes on future work that needs to get done.

there was a challenge. The wall inside was blocked by the door frame.. The electricians had to think out of the box and find another way to relocate the thermostat and switch. They needed to go down the basement and and fish a wire up and through the wall. I know this company was very busy before the holidays, so I am so happy they squeezed me in within short notice.

It was ok. Took longer time. It was complicate I guess, also not all tools they had to make faster. Very fast responsiveness in terms of appointment. The price was quite high for the job. The meter started the moment call. That is I was told we will be charged for travel time to house. Glad that they didn't charge for travel back to office .

Everything was amazing with Castle Electric. We had an unsual project. We had hired a contractor that used another electrician, but we had met with Jim sr. already about the knob and tube wiring. He was very personable knowledgeable, and just plain down to earth. In addition the price be quoted us seemed impressively reasonable. He worked with us throughout the project even though we weren't usinng a contractor he had worked with. I can also be a nervous nelly about work like this, but Jim was always kind and never blew my concerns off. His crew were always professional, on time, and tidy about their work. The head electrician at our job, Mike, was very good at communicating what would be best, and he always managed to make what we wanted happen (even when it was difficult). After the final inspection we found that the back deck outlet was not functioning. Jim sr. had someone out the very next day and the problem was fixed within 30 minutes. Over all so impressed with the workmanship! We would definitely use Case Electric again :-)

It went well. Both Jim Jr. and his crew are very professional, were there at 7:30 every morning, listened to every request and preference I had and finished more or less within the initially quoted timeframe (I added a couple of things to the job that pushed it a bit). They did miss one electrical socket, but Jim came out to fix it on the day the inspector came. Everything passed inspection with flying colors.

Jim and Tim did an excellent job replacing a very old breaker panel that was no longer up to code. They worked efficiently and completed the job in less than the half-day I had been given as a timeline. Castle Electric, who I found on Angie's list, did a previous small job for me and there was no doubt in my mind that I would bring them back for this more complex piece of work.

Mike and Sean were wonderful to work with. I am particularly grateful for their scheduling flexibility when we realized my old dimmer would not work with my new halogen lights in my dining room. I bought a new dimmer switch and at the end of the day, Sean came back and installed it - beautiful!

Jim and his crew always have my back. I've come to rely on them on all my electrical needs. I explained my emergency to Jim Sr. and he sent out his knowledgeable and friendly staff out within a couple of hours. They brought the electricity back up and will be coming back to do more rewiring work after the place dries out. They could have charged me an arm and a leg, but they didn't. The price was really reasonable. Can't be happier.

He was very nice, proffesional and offered to come back when we got the part and put it in.. Would highly recommened.

The appointment was scheduled for 7:30 am on a Saturday. Jim and Mike were there at 7:31. Once the amount of work was described to them they called another crew in just to make sure that the job could be finished in one day. I left, and about one hour later received a call from Jim Sr, the owner, who made some suggestions, while he stopped by the house as well. They were there almost eight hours on a Saturday. They called me 30 minutes before they were done to inspect the work. Everything looked great. In my opinion they charged me very fairly. I would definitely use them again.
