We had a tenant moving into one side of a duplex. Our regular contractor told us that there was asbestos in the basement. We thought it had been removed by Air Safe several years ago. However, AS had a contract with our plumber to remove "contracted asbestos". We didn't realize that this only meant to remove the asbestos around the furnace that was to be removed. They did this first job well. When we found that there was a considerable amount of asbestos remaining, we contacted the company. That is when we found out that our plumber never contracted to have ALL of the asbestos removed. This was certainly not the fault of AS. In any case, they came in immediately and assessed that there was, indeed, asbestos remaining. Knowing that a new tenant was due to move in shortly, they changed some scheduled work around so that our project would take priority. They came in, completed the work, and the tenants were able to move in without disruption. I was pleased with how they worked with us and the speed with which they took care of the problem.
