We had such a great experience with Kitchen Tune Up. Mike is a great guy and his team followed up with his professionalism. He was honest and to the point. We had such a great experience. It was quick, they were as tidy as can be and their work ethic was refreshing to see. We loved them so much that we referred them to my parents and they are loving their kitchen too! Our kitchen looks amazing now and is so much more functional! It's been 4 months and we are still so happy!! I would hire them again without a doubt!

Working with Mike and Jesse was a great experience. Mike was wonderful at helping us figure out what we wanted and had many excellent suggestions. Jesse installed everything beautifully. It was a sincere pleasure to work with them and we love our new cabinetry.

Around 15 + years ago we hired Mike and his crew to remodel our kitchen. We were impressed by their punctuality, excellence of workmanship and their attentiveness to our needs and desires. This year we decided to update the kitchen with contemporary features such as soft close drawers and lift shelf for my Kitchen Aid. We never thought of consulting or hiring anyone else. We wanted Mike and his crew again. The work was completed in 3 days as they promised. They consulted with us as work progressed, they were meticulous, precise and showed great sense of design. We could not be more satisfied and would recommend Mike and his crew to everybody.

Jesse and his team were timely, respectful of our home (keeping it clean, sweeping, etc. while the work was being performed). We are extremely pleased with the outcome - I love my new kitchen!!!

Great, always on time, cleaned up after themselves every day, quality work, great suggestions, took care of all problems that arose (cabinet maker sent wrong cabinets and then sent a defective one, they came back and took care of everything).

Joe and I had the distinct pleasure of working with Mike and his team on the remodel of our kitchen. What amazed us both was the ease of the `collaboration throughout the whole process! Mike and Jesse listened to our vision, added creative and thoughtful suggestions, and the results were beyond what we could have imagined! The whole crew, from the tiler, to the general contractor, was a pleasure to have in our home on a daily basis. Could not be happier with our experience working with Mike, Jesse, David and colleagues! Mike is personable, very knowledgeable and accommodating. He provided a great deal of personal attention. Very accommodating in meeting at our home or his office during planning as needed to go over questions and discuss options. His availability and responsiveness was great. He provided multiple options/ideas to consider based on what we were looking for...with no pushing in one direction or another. Wanted us to be happy with our purchase. Was able to suggest minor changes that made a refacing project look more like a full kitchen remodel but at no additional cost. The work was completed in less time than expected. Everyone was on-time, very easy to work with and cleaned up at the end of each day. Highly recommend! Kitchen looks beautiful! Could not be happier.

Oftentimes, you read reviews and you wonder if it's just the person's family and friends writing these positive reviews. I can honestly say that I am not related at all to Mike, Owner of Kitchen Tune-Up. My husband and I met Mike at the RI Home Show (as well as 4 other vendors) to get a price on refacing our kitchen. Mike was professional from the start. He was able to give us options (without costing a fortune) to reface our kitchen. The 3 other vendors we met wanted to come in, reface the cabinets exactly as they were, and leave. Mike gave us options to change the look of our kitchen even with refacing. It was the little things that really made a difference. We ran into an issue with our dishwasher's handle hitting one of the drawers because our old dishwasher did not have a handle at all. The appliance company gave us an attitude, but Mike said, "No, problem; we'll fix it!" He came up with a great solution so that we could keep our new dishwasher and still have a drawer that would work with some modification. His son, Jesse, and his crew are so professional. They cleaned up everything after each day. They make a scary home improvement easy for the homeowner. Today, they came to measure the new drawer that was going to be modified due to the dishwasher issue, and I showed him a BATHROOM drawer that broke last night. Within 5 minutes, Jesse fixed my BATHROOM drawer for me. I don't know a lot of people that would have fixed something they didn't sell me. I can't say enough good things about Kitchen Tune-Up. Mike and Jessie were awesome to work with. Punctual, pleasant, very knowledgeable and helpful with the design. It only took 3 days to update the cabinets which was shorter than me removing items from the cabinets and placing them back in. I would highly recommend them and would use them again.

Excellent - Mike and DJ were on time (actually a little early, even better) and quickly went to work. The cabinetry went very well and they also mounted the hardware (pulls and paper holders) which we had supplied. Very professional, courteous, and clean (dust and debris was minimal). The guys had previously refaced our kitchen cabinets so we knew in advance that we would get a professional result on this job as well.

Mike and his crew did a great job. We had to book him 3 months in advance as they are very busy but it was worth the wait. He started the job when he promised and completed the work in the 3 days he said it would take. Very responsive to any questions or concerns we had.

It went beautifully. Mark who did the work was a real artist, professional and easy to have in the kitchen.

Mike & colleagues were very helpful & personable... easy to work with. They were able to match the existing paint color of cabinet frames, and advised us on better quality door products. They offered suggestions on some design modifications which did not require major renovations. They left the bathroom looking like new again!

From the first meeting with Mike at his workshop, to the succession of in-person meetings at our home with Mike and Jesse, we knew we had picked the right team to redo our kitchen. It was an overwhelming process, but they made it very easy on us -- with great advice and direction. The measurements were spot on, and it all worked out great. The whole team was really great to work with -- finding solutions to all the little things that came up along the way -- everything from moving the stove hood to a different place in the wall, to working around the installations of the appliances and new floor. The cabinets and hardware used are really nice quality and we have received nothing but compliments from everyone who walks into our kitchen. We love all the new bells and whistles, too -- the new trash receptacle, the drawers versus pull-outs for pots and pans, the high cabinets that open up, like a garage door, and more. We've had many folks ask who did the work and we've gladly recommended Mike, Jesse, and the rest of their carpentry team from Kitchen Tune-Ups.

To say that Mike, Jesse and the Kitchen Tune Up team absolutely exceeded our expectations doesn't come close to describing how thrilled we are with their work. Redoing a kitchen can be overwhelming. There are so many things to consider and if you've never done it before, you don't know what to ask or expect. Throughout the sales process, Mike was wonderful. Unlike other refacing companies that come in and tell you that you have to chose from these 7 cabinet door designs or those 5 colors, Kitchen Tune Up listens to what you want (or been dreaming of) and figures out how to make it happen for you. As an example, I was told from others that, due to the type of cabinet frame we had that we would not be able to do a full door overlay which is something I wanted. Well, Mike made it happen. Instead of the conversation being about "restrictions", Mike was completely focused on figuring out how I could have what I wanted and he delivered on his promise. With other vendors, the conversations were about limits. With Mike, it was always about what is possible. After the sale was made, he kept his word about dates and times. They showed up when they were supposed to and finished our entire kitchen in 4 days as they said they would. They cleaned up after themselves everyday and were meticulous in their attention to detail. They asked me my opinion on certain things and, in turn, I came to rely on them and trust their advice. When they saw a way to make a design improvement - like adding a matching granite windowsill, they went out and found the granite, ordered the piece and came back to make the change. It was fantastic! Jesse and his crew consistently conveyed the same focus on making sure I was happy that Mike did early in the process. (On the last day, they couldn't even make it to the end of my street because my neighbors who had seen my kitchen saw their truck was in the driveway and texted me to have them stop over their house on their way out!) You absolutely cannot go wrong hiring Kitchen Tune South Shore. Great company, great family and great crew! I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

During a free in-home consultation, we sat down and went over all the possible modifications that they could do with our cabinet refacing project. Mike was extremely accommodating and thought of things that I hadn't even known were possible to do. The whole process was pretty effortless. We felt confident that the work would come out great because of the years of experience this company had. When the crew showed up to start the project, they were all very professional and clean. We really couldn't be happier with how everything came out and with how our project was handled by Mike and his team. We got other estimates for our project and they were all pretty much the same - we went with Mike because of the extra attention to detail that he showed us. We're constantly getting compliments on our kitchen and are so happy we went with KTU for this project.

We decided to have our badly out-of-date kitchen cabinets refaced and did some on-line research to line up a couple of quotes. Kitchen Tune-Up received outstanding reviews and, as it turned out, justifiably so. Mike and Jesse (and the rest of the team) were great from start to finish. Mike showed up for the initial consultation promptly and was very helpful in suggesting ideas that would bring our kitchen into the 21st century. He provided a quote on the spot which was very much in line with our expectations. We were impressed enough in the hour or so that we spent with him that we didn't feel it necessary to get another quote and hired him on the spot. The next step was having Jesse come over to take the exact measurements and again, they showed up on time and were happy to answer some questions we came up with and make a couple more suggestions. We then scheduled a date to have the work done which was about a month and a half out. (they're busy, another good sign) When the time came, Mike contacted us a couple of days in advance to confirm that they'd be there first thing Monday morning. He had told us all along that the whole process would only take 3 days from start to finish, a nice advantage of refacing versus new cabinets. Three days later, we had a new kitchen. The workmanship was superb, all the suggestions they made were spot on and we couldn't be happier. Everyone involved was friendly and professional and I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade their kitchen.

Mike and Jesse were great. Very professional. They came, spent several hours taking measurements and then we visited the showroom to pick color and new cabinet door styles. Great selection. They both offered great suggestions and incorporated some ideas my wife had into the plan. Mike admitted after that he had reservations about one of her ideas, but when he saw the finished product he liked it so much that he would suggest it to other customers. They arrived when they arrived when they said they would and were done on time. Clean up was appropriate when they were done. A few days after completion we found a couple very minor problems with some adjustments and one strip of veneer was not attached properly. We also realized after completion that we needed a little extra work on the bottom of the wall cabinets to add some trim detail to give it that little something extra. Jesse came back within days to make the needed adjustments and to measure for the extra trim. He ordered the trim parts and when it came in he and Mike did the work in one day and only charged for the materials. We are extremely happy with the look of the new kitchen, the quality of the work, and the professionalism of Mike, Jesse, and their entire crew. They treated us more like friends than customers. We would definitely use them again and we highly recommend them if you are redoing your kitchen or bathroom cabinets.

From the initial consultation to the completion of the job we were exceedingly happy. The team did an excellent job on the installation. Very professional and experienced. They came on the date they said they would and finished the job a day earlier.
