JOHN P PARKER PLUMBING AND HEATING

Woke up this morning to water running all over my kitchen floor and basement. After contacting several people suggested by friends, with no luck, I contacted John. He called me back, almost immediately. He was on his way to a job and told me he'd be here some time in the morning. He was here within three hours. Found and fixed the problem in no time. We were extremely happy with his service and plan to call him in the near future to install a new dishwasher. I will definitely use his services again and spread the word about him.

Never returned calls

After 2 local plumber's had told me I need a new steam boiler and the cost would be $7,000.00, John came out for my third estimate, and fortunately he is HONEST !! He cleared the sight glass fitting and flushed the system. He took the time to explain what was going on. I did not need a new boiler !! He charged me $75.00 !! I now have a new HONEST plumber. I was so happy I found him I sent him an extra $100.00 in appreciation for his honesty. Today it's hard to find an honest person so if you want that in your plumber call him first, you won't need anyone else !!!

Excellent from start to finish--he was very easy to communicate with, arrived on time, and did a great job.

Overall, I am very happy with John. If he is going to be delayed, he calls, so that I am not waiting around. If my heater was down, and it was cold, he made sure that he got to me as soon as he possibly could. He has taken the time to explain what needed to be done, and if it is something that I need to do to save money from hiring him again, he will show me how to do it. He's a great plumber and a good person.

The toilet had been leaking, so I went to a home improvement store for a new flapper. The clerk told me that because of the age of the house (toilet original to the house), there would probably be more to replace than just the flapper and advised that I buy the flush-valve kit to replace all of the components. The bolts holding the tank to the base unit were rusted and began to disintegrate when I tried to loosen them, so I called John Parker. He was very responsive on the phone, quoted me $100 when I told him what I was trying to do, and made arrangements to come to the house. When he arrived, he looked at the flush valve and said that it was only the flapper that needed replacement (I'm planning on renovating the bathroom within the year, so it didn't make sense to take the toilet apart if it was unnecessary). Rather than open the kit and remove the flapper, John said that he had a flapper in his truck and would use that so that I could return the kit for a refund. The problem leak was quickly solved at less than half of the quoted price. In fact, John replaced an old Waterpik hand-held shower that I was unable to unscrew with the new one I had purchased and did not charge extra for it. I am ABSOLUTELY going to call John when I begin my bathroom renovation.

He worked within the time frame he gave us. He was very professional. He worked with us as homeowners. He explained what he wanted to do and was very clear in explaining our part in it. He did exactly what was planned.

He's my plumber that has been doing things for me for over 10 years. He also put a sink in my kitchen 4 years ago. He's super and is a really good plumber. He's ethical and always tells me what he thinks is wrong and asks if he should proceed.

He's really good to work with and on time and does a really good job, I would recommend him to others and use him again. I've used him multiple times in the past.

John is an expert and perfectionist. His work is always pristine and built to last. He cut no corners, and in fact, exceeded code in several places because he felt it made for a better system. Despite the attention to detail, his prices were more than reasonable. He was punctual when I asked him to come and flexible about when he would return to make sure we had time to complete all earlier steps. He is a masterful master plumber.
