Description of Work: I had 4 double hung windows replaced in the front of my house. I was convinced that these were the best of the best. The truth is, they are fine windows but VERY expensive. A few months later I replaced 5 more windows, using a different company, and they are pretty much the same thing. I actually like the less expensive windows better because they are easier to lock and have more glass showing.

Description of Work: Installed 3 sliding patio doors, a big special order window that replaced a patio door, and 2 large sliding windows in 2014. We have had issues with the screen on one of the large sliding windows that had to be replaced with a special order screen. The most recent contact was to reschedule a service appointment. They are now coming next week with the 3rd version to install. We like our windows, and are disappointed in how long it has taken to get resolved. Throughout the whole process they have been courteous and professional, but special orders take extra long.

Description of Work: Renewal by Anderson replaced all the windows in our 9,000 S.F. home. Thy are expensive but the quality and responsiveness is excellent and they are prompt, fast, and clean up after themselves so that there is a minimum of disruption to the home.

Description of Work: My memory is a little vague on the actual dates and priding, but they replaced all windows on our ground floor. They had replaced all second story windows several years earlier. The sales person with whom we worked the first time was still there for our second go-round. In both cases, Renewal by Andersen provided outstanding service and a first-rate installation team. We couldn't be happier. They are a little pricey, but I am happy to pay a little extra for their level of professionalism. | |I recommend them without hesitation.

Description of Work: Replaced all our windows, couldn't possibly do any better on their service than they did. They even sent around a tech to install our window rails a few weeks after the window installation; we had not been sure whether we wanted rails or not, and when we decided we did want them had no problems getting them installed promptly.

Description of Work: Excellent windows and the installation of 12 windows was completed in a day. These guys are the real deal very professional and house was cleaner after the installation than before.

Description of Work: I don't believe I contacted these people through Angie's List. However, I can thoroughly recommend this place to do business with. I went in to purchase a special order window for a project I was building. The guy at the desk, who was knowledgeable, helpful and had a great sense of humor, directed me to the discount section where they had custom windows that were never picked up. I was able to get a window that was much better than what I was originally purchasing for less than a quarter of the cost. That got our attention. These folks will get my business, whether we need a piece of glass cut or a custom window made. I would refer my neighbors to them and I certainly recommend them here. Any business that would refer you to a cheaper and better option is a great business to work with.

Description of Work: Installed 2 custom and 1 large bay. They were fast, clean and friendly. Cost was a little steep for 3 Windows, but they do look really nice and a lot more efficient.

Description of Work: These are pretty expensive windows but the quality backs them up. They subcontract out the labor but do so with carefully vetted contractors. I think the installation process we had was very positive. We paid about $22K for 15 windows so just over $1,400 / window installed. Wish it were cheaper but I think you get what you pay for. Sales tactics are pretty standard. They'll show you their window and some really sub-par window and theirs is clearly better. And if you act now (sign on the line before he leaves), you'll get this one time discount that expires in 1 hour. We are enjoying our new windows and things are less drafty and also a little quieter.

Description of Work: they replaced my picture window in the living room. It was so easy. They were prompt, and did an amazing job. There were no problems and they were so nice to deal with

Description of Work: They uninstalled a 5-light bow window and installed a new 5-light bow window in it's place. Their work was very neat and professional. No complaints about the quality of workmanship. They were punctual and very professional and cleaned up after themselves. I don't recall the amount for the service as it was built in to the total cost of the window which was more expensive than I had expected, but worth it.
