Pontes painted our 3-floor condominium and garage that were in serious need of care. It included power washing, scraping, full priming and painting for the entire building. There was also some carpentry work needed from years of weathering (window trim, wood siding). Quality: Pontes’ work is top notch. The crew was very diligent in prepping the painted surfaces and replacing questionable wood/trim to provide a solid foundation for paint. The carpentry work is seamless with the existing structure and shows no signs of repair or contrasting areas. The paint and trim tones match the original colors perfectly. The crew applied the paint with brushes vs. spray which makes a huge difference to appearance and likely durability. Additionally, they applied an extra coat of paint to several areas which were subject to a little more wear than most. Overall, the work quality really is amazing and made the condo look brand new. Responsiveness: With skilled trades in such high demand, sometimes it’s difficult to get phone calls or emails returned at all, let alone in a timely manner. Pontes was extremely responsive from first contacting about the work through the completion of the project. That really makes a difference when trying to schedule a big project in a reasonable amount of time. Price: Pontes’ prices were the most competitive of several companies we reached out to. Maybe more importantly, they stuck to their quote and did not try to add significant cost after starting the job, which seems to be a common practice among others. Professionalism: The on-site crew was impressively hard working – they really put in a lot of work daily to minimize the number of days required (appx 8am-7pm daily). Everyone was super friendly and respectful of the property. The daily cleanup was a nice touch with driveways and sidewalks looking great when they left for the evenings.
