Rafael and his crew of painters worked with me to complete an exterior transformation of my home in Boxborough. The work included power washing and staining the clapboard southern front and eastern side of the house, as well as painting the house cellular PVC trim and the new front door surround on the southern exposure of the house. The painting was done with care and efficiency, while at the same time ensuring that the work was completed at a high standard. All this was done at a fair price. They will return in the new year, once construction work on the west side of the house is completed, to stain the clapboards on the northern rear of the house and western side, as well as paint the cellular PVC trim. I highly recommend Pontes Painting, they provide a professional painting service at a fair price.

Pontes Painting did a fantastic job scraping, power washing, doing small exterior repairs and completely transforming our house/trim/doors with a fresh coat of paint. Price is fair, crew are hardworking, polite, they left the yard clean at the end of each workday of any tools, debris, etc. Raphael is professional, conscientious and very easy to work with. Weâ  ll be calling him for any future projects we have.

Mr. Pontes and his team did a wonderful job on our outdoor enclosed porch. Some of the projects were: Removal the old carpet and disposal, replace the screens around the whole room, install new vinyl floor 100% waterproof, scrape and sand the wood ceiling, painted wood and siding, one coat of stain on ceiling, one coat of clear Polyurethane on ceiling and many more things also. This is the second time I used his expertise for a job. Once again, everything turned out great! Thank You Mr. Pontes!

Our experience in selecting Pontes Painting is as follows: four paint contractors visited and surveyed the two story- shingled, sixteen window house to survey the project . I had prepared questions and took notes on each survey, sent an email to each contractor to confirm my notes of their survey, and requested a return confirmation and detailed quotation from each, via email. . Only Pontes Painting replied with an email detailed quotation, with each line item clearly explained. including paint type, manufacturer, color and number of paint coats, surface preparation, number of painters in the crew, schedule and detailed pricing breakdowns, , time to complete the project, warranty and payment terms, along with copies of the 13 house photos taken during R Pontess survey. One of the other contractors visited again in person to review his prepared hand written proposal. *** Pontes Painting was selected., pricing was competitive *** Sept 19, 2023, two, Pontes Painting and vans arrived promptly at 8:00 AM, with a total crew of four including a supervisor who remained on site ( and also painted) the entire day. The crew also included a skilled carpenter/painter. The carpenter completely rebuilt the basement door door frame. The crew was respectful, polite, clean cut, cooperative in every way, complied with several special requests. Safety first for the customer and crew, meaning that the crew took the time at the end of the day to take down the ladders, stack them and place off to the side of the yard walking area at the end of each day Also, they picked up trash & cleaned up each day, never asked for anything or to use our facilities, Email and phone communications with R Pontes was continuously expedient, he gave very good advice to us on what to do and what not to do on color combinations. We are very glad that we took his advice. They re-installed all of our shutters on sixteen windows. The project was completed in two days. We surveyed the project on ( sunny) Thursday(( 9/21) AM, found several spots that needed touch- up. The supervisor returned on that same Thursday afternoon, completed each touch- up to our satisfaction. I had to TIP them. I highly recommend Pontes Painting.

After receiving a detailed estimate that broke down the costs for each part of the job I agreed to have them start the job as soon as possible. All of the painters were very pleasant and polite. I appreciated that they were so considerate of my neighbors/tenant and worked long hours to get the job done quickly and thoroughly. I just bought a new home & needed the interior painted. I looked online and found Pontes Painting.  Called the number and Rafael answered. He agreed to meet me at my new home within an hour. He inspected the house, went to his computer  and gave me a quote....way cheaper than other quotes I had gotten. The crew came on  Thursday and finished on Saturday .  They did an outstanding job. The house is beautifully painted.  They prepped for painting & maintained all areas clean. The crew were professional,  kind, trust worthy, respectful and knowledgeable in their field. Rafael and his whole team were so fantastic from start to finish! Extremely detail-oriented, communicative, honest, and high-quality. We originally found him on Home Advisor and reached out to get a sense of scope and pricing for exterior painting Rafael came to our house the next day to walk around and point out all the opportunity areas to make the house look better and gave us some color ideas. We then had to delay our start date for our exterior painting, but when we reached out over a year later, Rafael immediately remembered us and still had all our notes! Even though the price of materials and labor had increased because of the pandemic, he still honored our original pricing, which was so appreciative. He showed up or called every day to check in, and his team was early every day and very respectful the whole job. They got the job done extremely quickly while still being thorough. Rafael and the team do not just want to paint over existing paint for a temporary fix, they want everything to last and look this good for years and years. They knew exactly how to handle each type of material in our home and what paint to use for each part. The final results are incredible and we are so happy.
