The Technician was responsive and seemed to be knowledgeable after I contacted. However, he could not diagnose the problem with my boiler and I was charged for 1.5 hours in labor, nearly $300. When contacted by the Technician a week later, I was told that the parts and labor to return would be over $1000. I contacted another contractor, who was at my home in under 30 minutes, fixed the issue in 15 minutes, and I was charged under $100.

The service is always great. Everything has been working as it should since the original installation. Advice and explanations are down-to-earth. Service and maintenance charges are in line with those of other companies.

Got a couple of quotes to replace our boiler. Gary Wilson's quote made it an easy decision. Used his services about 7 years ago to install heating and a mini-split for the finished basement. He and his crew did an outstanding job with that so I knew they know their stuff. The new boiler installation by Gary and his crew went really smoothly, they simplified and cleaned up all the old piping making it look much better and providing easier access within the furnace room. Gary and his crew are pleasant to work with, they are very responsive to your questions, and they are respectful of your house.

We returned from a week at the hospital to find that our gas heater was leaking. It was a Saturday, but Gary returned our call to his answering service immediately, and was able to determine over the phone that this was not an emergency situation, thus sparing us an after-hours surcharge. Their technician Jason arrived on Monday (Veteran’s Day, but still no surcharge), and quickly, quietly and efficiently fixed the leak. I want to add that in addition to the professionalism and expertise, they showed some compassion. I listed the expense for this job as $250, but they told us they would wave their fee based on the difficult medical situation we’re facing. With so many other things for us to worry about, they resolved the issue without adding to our burden, we appreciate that.

Just great. They initially provided a clear, fully itemized estimate, at a very competitive price, using top of the line equipment (Buderus/Riello). His crew removed the old furnace and installed the new one, with all new controllers, in a single day. The installation was very neat and clean, and the furnace is whisper-quiet. The workers were all very polite, professional, and efficient, and left essentially no trace that they had been working all day.

From initial contact through final delivery, I found all of Wilson's staff to be professional, friendly, responsive, knowledgeable, true to their word and an all around pleasure to work with. Discovered an email after the fact to the effect that the owner didn't know what was going on and was canceling my appointment. If I've called and spoken to you then CALL me if the schedule is going to change. I would not recommend this provider.

Performed services in a timely manner and everything works great!

We had to bring somebody in to correct all the problems. He gave an estimate and once he dug into it that other guy screwed up so badly that the estimate had to be changed. We were planning on saying, we think you underestimated this a bit and we were going to voluntarily offer some money and they wanted more. It worked out fine. Wilson came in and saved the day. They took the money and we came to some kind of agreement. I said hey you already gave us an estimate we were voluntarily going to do this; we will come to some kind of agreement but it's not going to be what you think now. But they saved the day. He came out and put in an estimate and I did hire him. Then I had to count on him to come back out and save the day. I would bring Wilson back. If we have any problem I will bring him back, but he is expensive.

They do excellent work! They are professional, reasonably priced, leave no mess, and it's still working great two years later!

Gary Wilson did an analysis of our home heating needs, worked with us on possible solutions and submitted proposals... ultimately, we went with another provider who gave us a better price on the particular option we selected (Note: Wilson did have a better price on several other options)... through it all, we were very impressed by Wilson's knowledge, professionalism and responsiveness... we would certainly not hesitate to utilize Wilson Services for any HVAC or plumbing needs in the future...

We moved into a new home with three zones heated by propane and a fireplace. It was a real challenge to get the house comfortable. Gary and his crew did a stellar job installing minisplits and a more sophisticated WIFI thermostat system. Gary walked us through the process, with the right sizing, placement and aesthetics for our new system. Gary was always available for questions. The workmanship is top notch. Loving our new system and enjoyed a cozy winter.

If all contractors were as professional and competent as Gary and his team, I would be a happier person. We had a very old gas furnace that needed to be replaced. We got quotes from 3 contractors in Oct. 2014, and decided to go with Gary because although his quote was a little bit higher than the others, he seemed the most knowledgeable. He is also very well informed about the availability of utility rebates, etc., for efficient HVAC systems. We delayed doing the furnace replacement in 2014 because we had a close deadline in order to be eligible for one of the rebates and Gary injured himself and could not make the deadline. This was not a big deal for us. Gary proactively reached out to us the following spring to see if we were still interested in moving forward with the job and making us aware of new rebates available. Gary was very patient in answering several rounds of questions we had about the furnace itself, what was included in the quote, who would be doing the work, etc. We finally scheduled the work for the fall of 2015. Once we were ready to go, scheduling the work with Gary was easy. He was always very prompt in returning calls and emails. The day that Gary and his crew installed the furnace they all worked a good 9 hours and were pleasant, friendly, and professional. They cleaned up after themselves. We really appreciated that Gary himself worked the job for the entire duration. Many contractors will meet with you to review a job and give you an estimate and then just send their crew to do the actual work. Gary worked on our project, even though it was probably a smaller job for him. We are very happy with our new furnace and will definitely use Wilson Services for all future HVAC needs.

I hired Wilson Services to replace a two-zone ductless, mini-split air conditioning system that wasn't working well. It was a complicated job due to the location of the indoor units (on interior walls) and the need for the new system to be compatible with existing infrastructure. Two other companies I consulted wouldn't even bid on the job because they didn't think they could do it given the constraints. A third company gave me a quote based on one brief visit to my condo and a cursory look around. It turns out the new mini-split system they wanted to install would have required upgrading my electrical service and running new wiring, something they probably wouldn't have discovered until they were half way through the job and would have been a big extra cost. Wilson Services, in contrast, did a careful examination of the premises and a lot of preliminary engineering before I even signed a contract to ensure their quote was accurate and any potential problems were identified up front; they were very thorough in estimating the scope and cost of the job. As a result the work went pretty smoothly -- there were a few glitches, which were quickly dealt with, but no big or expensive surprises. Overall, Gary Wilson and his crew (Lee and Dimitri) did an excellent job. They were competent, considerate, and polite. They were easy to reach by phone or email and always got back to me quickly. Once I accepted the contract, they showed up promptly the next day to do the work. I'm happy to recommend Wilson Services to anyone in need of an HVAC contractor.

Gary Wilson and his whole team were outstanding; we were totally satisfied and impressed, almost beyond words. We had spoken with several other contractors, particularly about the steam boiler replacement and the need to heat the basement. Gary was the only one who said "Sure, no problem." and, based on what I'd heard about his company and his advice for the split systems, we contracted the job. Short version is the steam boiler was installed with a circulating hot water loop for the basement, we have awesome spilt systems in the house and garage, all installed by very skilled and professional tradesmen. Carine in the office processed all the rebate paperwork for us, which was a huge help and Gary followed up a week or so later, just to make sure everything was running OK and we were comfortable with running all our new equipment. Which we were, because his techs did a great job of programing the gear and explaining to us how to work and/or change settings. Bottom line, you might be able to find a heating/cooling/plumbing contractor to do your work for a few less bucks but you'll be hard pressed to find a company as honest and professional as Wilson Services.

We ultimately decided not to go with Wilson for our HVAC project. This may be a surprise given our glowing words above and indeed, we absolutely wanted Gary to do our work. Had the project simply consisted of the service and the price, Wilson would have won the job hands-down. However, the choice of equipment was also included and on this front, we ultimately decided that the equipment of a brand not generally offered by Wilson best met our needs. Since we would be living with this equipment for -- we hope -- decades, this was too great a hurdle even for Wilson to overcome in our case. I want to be perfectly clear, however, that this decision should in no way negatively reflect on Wilson. They were our clear choice as an installer and we would have no reservations in recommending them or in using them for service ourselves going forward. The $19,000 figure listed was the price of our project as quoted by Wilson. They did not, of course, actually charge us for the quote, the site visit, or the expertise.

The services provided were superb. The workers were very respectful and professional and did a very good job. I was very satisfied with the finished product.

They were excellent. Expensive, but excellent. They came right when they said they would. They were clean. They cleaned up after themselves and they were exactly what you wanted. There was no complaint about any part of their work, except their price, which was a little more than I had expected. I think, I chose them because they got a Green Shield or something on Angie's List.

I called Wilson Services for an estimate on a new furnace, and a day later they were at my house. Gary (Wilson), the owner, really listened to my needs and came up with a great solution. A week after that, the work was done, to a high standard of quality, right down to the installation of the new thermostat. The entire crew was knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. Speedy installation, rock solid work, and fair pricing ? I'm recommending Wilson Services to anyone who needs an HVAC contractor.

I highly recommend Wilson Services (Heating and AC). First, Gary Wilson, owner president, was very timely in his response to making a home visit for assessment of the situation, in addressing my concerns, and in giving an estimate. I called the office in dire need of help in replacing an oil boiler which had malfunctioned several months prior (despite attempts by a few heating contractors to fix/salvage it). He came to my house the same day, agreed to take on the project, and started work in about a week: to replace the system with a propane fired boiler. He also gave me recommendations regarding finding a propane company (based on his experience) which saved me time in searching on my own (not previously a propane customer). The propane company was also efficient and did the job well. Gary and his crew were prompt and reliable in coming at the time he (they) stated and kept me informed throughout the installation of the next day's schedule and of any appointments (e.g. building inspections). The job of installing the new propane boiler and pre-existing indirect water heater was done well and efficiently, and in just a few days, with reliable heat and hot water, already my home was closer to being habitable again. Having a residual problem because of boiler exhaust having backed up into the house over several months previously, in addition to the new propane heating system, a whole house ventilation system was needed and recommended. Although Gary was not currently doing such installations, he agreed in this particular situation. This involved liaison with an environmental specialist who was consulting on the project design. Although this added additional time; phone calls and emails, onto an already challenging project, Gary was cooperative and polite throughout. The ductwork for this project was extensive and complex. Once again, Gary and Wilson Services rose to the challenge. During the installation, Gary made special accommodations to the chemical sensitivity of this homeowner. The technicians of Wilson Services have a high level of competence and are capable of handling many aspects of a job/installation; knowing Gary is just a phone call away. Throughout the projects, I was treated with respect and courtesy by all the representatives of Wilson Services. Gary Wilson, is knowledgeable in the realm of heating and ventilation. He has an awareness of environmentally conscious alternatives to heating. He is a man of integrity who has a conscience larger than the world of business. He is efficient and practical in his approach to problem solving. He is compassionate to the homeowner/customer regarding their situation/problem/past experiences. Gary is personable and experienced in communication. He has a good combination of skills and qualities; a formula for success. I highly recommend Gary Wilson and Wilson Services for even the most complex and challenging of heating and ventilation projects.
