Description of Work: I had a second floor bathroom completely gutted and redone, with expensive high quality materials {marble, glass tile, etc) and the work was slow, over budget, and they failed to properly install the heated floor element. They ignored my requests for repair.

Description of Work: My first experience was a major renovation including kitchen, bathrooms, built ins, skylights, chimney rebuild. The owner is creative in design and the people working for him, especially his foreman, were terrific. I felt comfortable working with them. However, when I hired them again for a screen porch, there was less supervision from the foreman and the end quality was not the same level of finish as in the prior work. The owner was difficult to discuss my dissatisfaction with.

+ 2 moreWe have had several projects done by Valley Home Improvement, from a new master bedroom and bath, to roofing, to a new kitchen and dining room, to flood repairs. The owner is creative, smart and involved. The project managers are well informed, efficient, polite, and innovative. The crews do a pretty good job of cleaning up and do excellent quality work. They all take real pride in what they do. Our only quibble is that we don't always get exceptionally prompt service and it is never cheap. Still, we have a beautiful home thanks to Nelson and Valley Home Improvement.
Description of Work: We recently had a glass studio set up but have had Nelson and his crews do major renovations to minor repairs over the past 5 years.
