Description of Work: First they purged the heating system to regulate heating on 2 floors. We later put in a wireless thermostat, relay control, and 2 zone valves for the first & second floor to regulate the heat separately.

+ 0 moreWhen I had a water leak in my cellar they responded immediately. Apparently new pipe had been attached to an old pipe and water was slowly flowing backwards. They took out the old pipe and replaced with new copper piping. Giving me a complete explanation of the problem. In an upstairs bathroom, it became quite difficult to shut off the water to the tub. Their fix has worked for several years, but now I plan to update the bathroom fixtures and tiles. I am just in the exploratory stage. They have also fixed an outside faucet by lengthening a pipe at an right angle (L) which previously had an outlet practically in soil. Now I don't have to get on my knees to connect a hose. I have used their service for many years and will continue to do so.
Description of Work: They have done plumbing for me on three occasions and cleaned my furnace annually.

Description of Work: Part of heating elements on backside of house frozen. Could not access pipes to remedy but instructed in what to do to help situation. Came back at no charge to check again on system. Have used O'Connell heating as well as their plumbing division for 15 yrs. Always responsive and helpful. They do good work and are knowledgeable and service manager is always glad to discuss or answer questions if the technician can't or if you are not at home during the appointment. I haVe found all workmen to be trustworthy and have no problem leaving them alone in the house if I have to go to work. No complaints here and always recommend them.

Description of Work: We have used O'Connell for heating services including oil delivery for many years. They have recently given us an estimate to install radiant heat under the kitchen floor. Their estimate beat another we received. Past services, including extending and servicing our heating system have been satisfactory.

+ 0 moreThey were here on schedule and the repair was done in a timely manner. Although I do not know what this repair costs yet, they have been servicing my 25 year old oil burner for several years now and have consistently been fairly priced.
Description of Work: Today they repaired my furnace and I was very happy with their attention to detail and overall competence. They changed a zone valve and a circulation pump.

+ -1 moreThey fixed the problem right away. It was 3 days work and on the third day there were 2 plumbers. It was 12 hours work. They had to take out all the old stuff and bring in the new stuff. It was $100 an hour. I haven't had any problems with the sink.
Description of Work: I used O'Connell's Heating Plumbing to replace the toilet and sink in the bathroom. They replaced all the piping from the kitchen sink to the bathroom sink down into the basement. They fixed the valve in the bathroom and did another replacement in the kitchen.
