Upon first contact I was completely green to the process of buying a home and, knowing nothing about me, she stayed on the phone for an hour with me describing the nuts and bolts of what a buyer's agent does and answering a bunch of rudimentary questions I had. She made no judgements on who I was or what I could afford and promptly set up showings for all of the houses my wife and I requested to see. Her responses were so prompt and informative that I would have believed her if she said I was the only client she was working with! We needed only 3 weeks from our first contact to making an offer on a home thanks to her guidance through all of the aspects of home buying including the mortgage process, etc, etc. We did get the home for about 2% less than she suggested we'd start offering at, but I hardly consider that to be significant especially since she was a good advocate in trying to figure out how to best negotiate in the later phases. In general, Lisa is a very happy, helpful, informative person. Not only would I ask her to be my realtor again, but I would invite her to Thanksgiving if my family didn't fill the entire house!

Lisa showed us around when we were just considering Western Massachusetts as a possibility. She listened to our likes and dislikes in terms of home styles, and asked a lot of questions to understand our needs as a new family moving to a new town. She made recommendations as to local issues we might want to research as newcomers, and where & how to find the information we needed. She even gave us contact names & numbers so we wouldn't have to search ourselves. Once we decided to move, she contacted us whenever a property opened up in our price range and showed us every home we wanted to see, including several that we knew wouldn't suit us, but wanted to view for comparison's sake. She hooked us up to the MLS listings so we could view properties online, and sent us valuable information that she had concerning the listed properties and the buying/selling process that came from her 20+ years of experience. Although the purchase & sale of property can be a challenging experience, Lisa helped make it less difficult with her calm, sensible manner and the wisdom of her experience. She never encouraged us, as some realtors might, to consider homes that were out of our price range or that didn't meet our needs. She was ever-reassuring that we would find the right home for us. We did find a home, and Lisa was incredible in helping us through the buying process. She was extremely proactive in following up with the seller's agent on the numerous issues that arose prior to and during the purchase, and through the closing. Throughout, she was constantly available & responsive to us by phone and email. Post-purchase, she has kept in touch and been an invaluable relocation resource for us.
