Kitchen remodeling plan

Very professional, knowledgeable. Cat walk (long shelf with ramp) was something they never did before and it came out phenomenal. Defiantly going to use them for our next project.

We were very happy with our remodel and repairs. The work was high quality and our new bathrooms are just what we wanted. Zinnia was always responsive to our questions and concerns throughout the process. We would absolutely recommend Haydenville Woodworking and plan to contact them in the future when we are ready for our kitchen remodel.

I am extremely pleased with the shelves that Haydenville Woodworking designed and built for me. They are exactly what I need to organize the yoga props in both of my yoga studios. And, they match the feel and look of the rooms perfectly! Zinnia and her team are extremely professional and supportive. They had to work around our constantly fluctuating yoga schedule to build these in house, and still got the job done quicker than we anticipated. I would highly recommend Haydenville for all your remodeling and woodworking needs!

1. The craftspersonship of the closets was exceptional; the attention to detail; the capacity of HWD to translate/conceptualize my description into a beautiful product was equally so. A very beautiful (and functional) outcome! 2. Excellent job removing old windows and modifying openings to install new windows.

The design aspect of the process was a delight. Zinnia presented me with tile, flooring and vanity options that matched our taste and room style. She explained pricing and choices based on my description of what we envisioned. They were flexible and professional at every step. The builders were consummate professionals, hardworking and friendly. They never left any mess behind and left the work areas safe and usable during construction. Every hiccup, like when they discovered the front sill of our house was rotten, was handled well and I felt I was being given honest advice and pricing.

Having had bad experiences with contractors in the past, we were very fussy and interviewed a number of contractors. My husband and I chose Haydenville Woodworking & Design to build our new addition which included adding a downstairs bedroom complete with accessible bathroom and walk in closet. The workers were courteous, neat and very thorough. Their work was excellent. We really appreciated Zinnia Stetson, one of the owners ,who worked with us, making sure we were informed of what and when to expect things to be completed. Although not an easy task and the reason we hired a contractor, Zinnia kept her crew and various subcontractors on task. She was great to work with. I even referred her to my best friend and neighbor, who needed some renovation work. Zinnia totally changed our opinion of contractors

HWD was amazing to work with. Zinnia was incredibly responsive from the beginning. The project was completed ahead of schedule and looks great. I will absolutely hire HWD again for future projects.

HWD did a great job. It helped us to select a new door, fitted it to the space, stained the door, and repainted the trim. Tile in entryway was added to cover the gap from the old door. The door is beautiful, great quality, and really enhances the entryway to our house. Zinnia and the carpenter and painter were very nice and did a great job. We have used the services of HWD for many years, starting when we bought our house nine years ago. Projects ranged from a complete kitchen overhaul, new tile and bathtub, new slate and stone floors to painting and roofwork. We highly recommend HWD.

They were great to deal with, we had some work done a few years ago. They did beautiful work and the new ownership is pleasant to work with.

We've been 35 years. We've been very happy with them. They've done everything from gutting a very old house to cabinets. We've been very pleased with Subs they use if it's something they don't do.

I highly recommend this company. Lance Hodes, the principal, was responsive and very helpful during the process. The issues that came up were discussed and resolved. Lance had the timing of his carpenters and the subcontractors choreographed to virtual perfection. There might have been maybe 2 days that we didn't see workers during the entire time. His pricing was fair and transparent, including pricing for change orders. The work was wonderful, and we're very happy with the renovation.

We had an excellent experience from design through construction completion. Wonderful, thoughtful and respectful people to work with. Work was done to highest standards. Head of company available at all times for questions and problem-solving.

All went well, even with special considerations needed about drier venting and the addition of protection against skunks and woodchucks. The deck is beautiful. The carpenters were wonderful. We're very pleased with this work.

The end result is lovely. But the crew started later in the year than projected and then there were gaps in work, so the project took much longer than estimated. Few other glitches. In the end, however, we had just what we wanted. HWD costs are high, but the crew is excellent and very professional. Lance and jim are always promptly available when needed. We've worked with HWD many times over many years. Their cabinetry work is beautiful!

Lance, Jim and team are experts. I know every phase of this project was done well and correctly. As with any job I suppose, it did take longer than expected, but I would rather have it done well than done fast! Professional, forthright and timely communications. I have used Haydenville Woodworking for several projects over 20 years and would not hesitate to call them again.

Lance Hodes was easy to work with and incorporated our ideas into the shelves. The person who actually built the shelves, Jeremy, was a perfectionist and a very nice person as well. Everything about our experience with Haydenville Woodworking was first-rate, and I can't think of any area for improvement. I give them my highest recommendation!

They did a great job and they were responsive to concerns. They always consulted us first before making any changes and we were very pleased with the whole thing. The people were pleasant and our house looks wonderful. We would highly recommend them.

Lance knows what he's doing!! A good eye for design and knowledge of details of construction. Articulate. Design proposals, itemization of costs including overhead/profit and change order documents prompt and detailed. On site manager oversaw subcontractors. Progress was steady.

Lance Hodes and his crew were dependable, thorough and cleaned up each day. The quality was beautiful. They took great care with finishing details, matching mouldings in our antique cape. Their work has stook the test of time, came in near estimate.
