Unfortunately, it’s kind of an effective monopoly and it turned out the town had been monopolized by the provider and I don’t like that. But I don’t have any choice but to have them as my internet and cable provider. There is no competition.
Description of Work: Comcast had been my internet and cable service provider for quite a while. I last had a contact with them 5 months ago.

They are very professional. The quality of the service is good. But their prices is very unclear however, I don't know of any other provider around.

I paid for internet service for an entire year and they failed to tell me that I needed to set up a user name and password to log on. So I was not even able to use my service. They were very rude when I dealt with them. They gave me a number to our legal department and told me that they had to hang up on me and told me to call that number.
Description of Work: They set up my internet service.

They ended up changing out the cable coming into the house because it was damaged and had a repair tag on it for a couple of years. Unfortunately now the internet service has been shut off and they did not attempt to contact us before this happened on 3/12/2010. We now have no internet unless we go dial up (can't because we have up to 4 computers on the system) satellite or back with them.
Description of Work: Came out to see why we could not get digital tv service and our internet kept going out. Took 3 attempts to solve the issue and that's after we switch to a new tv provider.

It is the epitome of the worst customer service. The price was too high. The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. They do not know what one another are doing or promising.

They've done a nice job, and as far as response time, they seemed to be accurate in showing up when promised. It would be nice if they had quicker response, but they ARE busy. Once they fit me in 3 hours after I called because somebody had the courtesy of canceling when they couldn't make their appointment.
Description of Work: Poor signal quality and Internet issues over a period of time.
