 + -1 moreI got a person when I called who said she would get in touch with Dave, who called me within an hour. He said he happened to be in the area and would be there in about an hour. He arrived about 30 minutes later, went right to work, and solved my issue. I was delighted with the service.
Description of Work: Replaced leaky pipes and other corroded parts in and under my kitchen sink.

 + -1 moreThe pipe under my sink let go and leaked everywhere. I called and left a message. Dave returned my call right away and was out to my house with a few hours and fixed it on the spot! He was very nice and quick to make the repair. He replaced the pipe and sink strainer. Would definelty use him again!

Description of Work: My phone call to Dave Talbot was answered right away, and Dave himself called me back within minutes. One of his electricians came out on the day we agreed on and did some work right then, but we had to reschedule more work because there were painters working in that room and it was too crowded for everyone. We made arrangements for them to come back this week, and I will get the final bill from them after all the work is completed. All in all, and so far, I am very satisfied, especially with their quick response and willingness to get the job booked as soon as possible. I would recommend them, definately.

 + -1 moreI had a toilet leaking from upstairs through my downstairs ceiling, and a clog that was stuck. Dave called me back within 15 minutes of my call to him and he was at my house within the hour. He solved the problem quickly, and he was knowledgable and friendly. He gave me a discount on the price because he was able to fix it quickly. I would use Dave again in the future.

Description of Work: Had leaking faucet under sink. Had to turn off hot water. Called in morning and immediate had a response and a visit in 2 hours! Professional and courteous with extra advice offered. Fixed the problem quickly by repairing the turn off valve.

My only quibble was with the price -- he charged $100 for labor. Seemed a bit on the high side, but overall I was satisfied. I would use him again. (Might try to bargain a bit on the price though!)
Description of Work: I had a persistent leak under my kitchen sink. Tried to fix it myself with predictable results. David Talbot replaced much of the PVC pipe.

 + -1 moreThey offered to come over immediately, showed up when they said they would. Almost faster than necessary. Both times I've used David Talbot Plumbing they sent the same plumber, who was polite, explained what needed to be done, did the job quickly, cleaned up after, and in the case of the sink, showed me how to prevent it from happening again. Both times, I was pleased at how much (actually how little) I was charged. It was considerably lower than what some of their competition charges for the same services.
Description of Work: They came to the house two times. First to un clog the toilet. At another time, to unblock bathroom sink drain.

Description of Work: David came to inspect a leak coming from our shower. He was responsive, courteous, and competent. He finished his inspection within an hour and located the source (which was a tiling problem). He did not charge a full price. Would definitely call him again in an instant.

 + -1 moreDavid Talbot arrived on time, pleasant business-like. Repaired the problem. Showed me the part that was installed and went over the working of the shower and communicated to me why the shower was not operable. He repaired the problem. Now the shower is operable.
Description of Work: The company freed up the valve on a new shower that was not properly installed. The temperature on the shower only worked on hot and hotter. The shower was impossible to turn on without a tool. The plumber freed up the valve on the shower and effectively fixed the temperature problem so that cold and hot were working.

 + -1 moreTHE OWNER IS REALLY RESPONSIVE. HE IS A GOOD TROUBLE SHOOTER AND WILL TAKE CARE OF ANY PROBLEMS HE FINDS ALONG THE WAY. HE IS EXTREMELY ATTENTIVE IN AN EMERGENCY SITUATION. HE HAS EVEN COME OUT MONTHS LATER TO FIX THINGS THAT HAVE GONE WRONG WITH WORK HE DID INITIALLY. HE IS VERY PLEASANT AND EASY TO WORK WITH.
