Description of Work: Frank performed multiple services in my home. He installed a pet door and he installed window treatment rods in my living room and dining room. The work was excellent, Frank is on time, professional and very nice. I highly recommend him.

+ -1 moreIt went extremely well. I couldn't be happier with my new bathroom; it ended up exactly as I envisioned it would. As with work in any older home, there were a few surprises, like when we discovered there was no sub-floor in my bathroom, or that previous workmen had sawed nearly completely through my floor joists. It's reasons like this why the final price exceeded the original estimate. Frank rolled with them well, everyone adjusted, and everything got done. I also loved that Frank acted as the foreman for the plumber, electrician, and painter as well, taking that responsibility off of of me. I felt completely comfortable having him in my home every day, regardless of whether I was there or not. He also introduced me to quality tradesmen (plumber & electrician) whom I could (and have) used again. He took great care to clean up at the end of each day, making it so much easier to live with the process. For someone who was new at this, it couldn't have been a better experience for me. I intend to call Frank again when it's time to do my kitchen.
Description of Work: I had one of the ugliest, most dysfunctional bathrooms ever, and was both a new homeowner and new to the experience of remodeling. I procured the suggested 3 quotes, mostly through friends' contacts, one of whose was Frank's. I knew right away that I wanted to do business with him. He provided the most reasonable (mid-range) and thorough estimate, with details of what work was included as well as what wasn't (good for us novices), and I could communicate with him through e-mail. If you've ever spent time chasing down a contractor by cell phone, it is a nightmare! For non-urgent items, I could send Frank a question and he would reply when he was free, rather than having him take a million calls while trying to work on my bathroom renovation. We completely gutted the bathroom - changed and relocated all of the fixtures, completely changed the window and its location, new tile, new floor, new lights, new ceiling, took an additional 2 feet from an adjoining closet, re-established that bedroom closet elsewhere. It was a huge undertaking.
