David responded quickly to my email, took care of the problems and improved the system's efficiency as well. I had my repaired computer back within a few days. I highly recommend ERF Computer Consulting.

We are a small ad agency, so our network needs are vital, but not extensive. David is the perfect fix for us. He was great about explaining and educating us on options. He got our network back online after our office move and did it efficiently with virtually no downtime. He is punctual, has great communication and is extremely professional. From the very first email, David was nothing short of professional and responsive. He emailed me right back upon my initial inquiry and was very responsive throughout the whole process. I dropped my netbook off on a Monday and I picked it up on Thursday afternoon. David cleaned out my computer, updated some applications and removed others. I am pleased to say that my netbook is moving much faster and I haven't seen one error message since! I would highly recommend him for any of your computer needs! Had several problems with the computer. It kept returning me to desktop. Memo pad and keyboard kept turning up. Could not access Norton. David responded promptly to my telephone call and arrived that night to pick up the computer. He returned it the following night. It is now running smoothly. I am not technical but whatever he did, worked.

I had a Hewlett Packard PC that was about 7-8 yrs old. I got a new Dell laptop and David installed Microsoft Office, Paintshop Pro, antivirus, and updates. We went over old data and what I no longer wanted or needed. He transferred or copied data from old PC to new laptop and ran tests. He did the majority of work at his location (about 3 hrs), and then returned laptop within a week and did an onsite setup (about 1 hr). He answered all my questions (and I asked a lot of them). I thought he was smart, thorough, very helpful and pleasant. He did a good job.

Excellent results. David is a knowledgeable expert and was very easy to deal with and a straight shooter. He explained everything in easy to understand terms and gave me several options on replacing the hard drive. Ultimately, I chose a hybrid drive-- and David was able to recover and transfer data from the old drive to the new one. It was a seamless transition to the new hard drive, meaning it was like turning on the old computer, everything appeared as it was before the repair----expect now it's a little faster:-). The repair took a week because David had to order the new drive--but that's what I was expecting anyway. I had to drop off and pick-up the PC at David's residence-- not a problem and well worth the 35 minute drive. I would not hesitate to use David again if any of our computers need repair or upgrades.

David, returned my phone call the same day, came and pick-up my computer, delivered it back 3 days later. He is very professional and Knowledgeable I would recommend him in a minute.

My computer, which I use for work, crashed during a Microsoft download and I needed help fast. David responded quickly to my initial email, took on the work right away and was able to sort out all of its nasty issues. Best of all, he took steps to prevent one major problem from happening again. He kept me informed about what he was doing and completed the work promptly. It was a pleasure dealing with him. And he did a great job!

David helped us diagnose a hardware problem and complete assembly of a desktop. My two sons have assembled a gaming PC but when I sensed a smell of burned wires, I knew it is time for a professional. David quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. He is an ultimate professional, efficient, down-to-business and reasonably-priced. I would recommend his services to anyone and will happily call on him myself.

It went great. Not only did he perform the requested service (cleaned computer of malware infection), he also updated my version of Windows, doubled my memory, installed antiviral software, and gave me lots of advice - all for free.

David, who is the owner and provider of ERF services, has assisted me with my son's MacBook on two occasions: The first time the battery wouldn't charge (this was sometime during July 2012). While Apple wanted to charge over $400 to replace some components, David found that all that was needed was to clean the contacts. The charge was $75.00 for an hour of his time. More recently (appx. 10/15/12), David once again saved me hundreds of dollars compared to the "geniuses" at the Apple store. He replaced the mag port which had been broken when the laptop was dropped. The total cost, including the mag port, was $200, including $75.00 for his time. I give ERF and David the highest rating for all the qualities you want in someone doing computer repair. In addition to competence, promptness and reasonable pricing, David is honest, operating in the tradition of success through maintaining a good reputation. I recommend ERF most highly.

David was great to deal with!!! He was very responsive and kept me informed of what he found and how long it would take to fix. His price seemed very reasonable.

David was extremely responsive; explained what he would do; took it with him to save money on labor and returned it in a couple of days... I would highly recommend him for any computer issue.. and willl definitely use him again- though hopefully I will not need him too soon.

David was excellent. He was responsive, completed the work on time, stayed within the estimate he provided, and made recommendations for computer software installations to avoid the problems in the future. He is obviously quite expert in fixing computers and is very reasonable in terms of cost. Would highly recommend.

I called and emailed him. He was willing to come over (1 town away) and pick it up in 2 days, but I offered to drive it over the following evening -- in hopes it might save time/money) - not sure if it did either, but I did not query that...When I dropped it off, he let me know his hourly rate ($60) and that he would let me know by the next evening the status. I agreed to him proceeding with a repair as long as new hardware was not needed...and he let me know the following evening that he got it up and running. Took him 1.5 hours to undo the damage I did (oh well, my money saving strategies work most the time!) and I arranged to pick it up the following evening. Nice professional, personable, honest guy. Given the limitations of this single experience, I highly recommend!

David did a great job! He showed up on time, asked appropriate questions about my computer and wasted no time in getting down to work. He presented me with options and even offered that I "wait and see" with what he did to see if it worked before spending more money on additional interventions. He is so knowledgeable and just an overall pleasure to work with. My computer has run fine since!

David responded to my email request very promptly. He gave me the option of remote assistance or a home service call, which is what I chose. The appointment was made, he was prompt and very knowledgeable. Whats more, he showed me how I can correct the problem again, should it occur, and kept a file for himself for any future reference. David was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. He was responsive to my initial questions regarding his business and fee structure, and he was able to make an appointment with me almost immediately. When I called him at the start of our appointment, he guided me, step by step, through the process of allowing him remote access to my laptop. Once he had control, he was able to quickly diagnose the problem (a sluggish router that needed a reboot). He then provided an in-depth tutorial on some of the Mac features/applications that will allow me to diagnose future performance issues. He has all the qualities of a great teacher - he's both very patient and very approachable. I hope I don't have any computer problems for awhile, but if I do, I won't hesitate to call David. He's definitely my "computer guy."

I dropped the computer at his house and had it back within 24 hours. Very happy with his quick response and honesty.
