These supposed "professionals" did our new roof as part of a major home rehab in 2012 overseen by the now defunct All Construction and Remodeling. They neglected to add three roof shingle caps and did a p*** poor job shingling around the chimney. They left an opening into the attic improperly sealed and now we are paying for it, water leak over the years will be costing us at least $ 15K to remedy. If I could give negative stars I would. Don't hire them or you'll regret it.

The installation of the new roof in 2011 went smoothly. However, it is very unprofessional not to return our calls now that we are trying to get them out to check on a leak. Water has leaked through the attic into one of the beedroom upstairs and the roof should be checked and fixed. We will have to call someone and pay for something that was supposedly under warranty.

We chose them because of the cost, their references, and because they were thoughtful about the timing (avoiding March when the ground would be soft and all of the walking on it would ruin the grass) and about what needed to be fixed (the other two companies automatically wanted to replace the flashing on both of our chimneys; Bob from Bay State Roofing was clear that just one needed it). They arrived with several trucks right on time on the day they started. We live really close to our neighbors so they carefully cleaned the roofing debris from the neighbor's yards each evening. They had to remove two (and in some places, three) layers of shingles. The new roof looks great, we are really pleased with it.

Poorly, other than the first call back.

I called to schedule an estimate. Then, on the appointed day, the estimator didn't have the ladder necessary to climb on the roof(!?), so he had to return the next day. After that, I didn't from them for several days so I called them: I was told the estimate was in the mail. I wish they told me ahead of time of that "snail mail" delay, they could have used email/fax, because that took them out of the running. I thought they weren't interested. At least their estimate was competitive.

They worked hard, and the price was one of the best prices we got for the job.

Asked for estimate on a Friday, came out the next Monday. Stated we would have an estimate by Thurs. or Friday. Never got one. Wanted two roof leaks repaired and all Facia, Soffets, and Gutter replaced. A fairly substantial job. It appears there is not enough money involved. Never heard from them.

The team did a great job. They completed all work in two days (in January!) The roof and gutters look fantastic and they cleaned and put the yard back together before they left.

BAY STATE ROOFERS STRIPPED AND INSTALLED NEW ROOFING MATERIAL WITHIN 5 HOURS. 100% OF THE OLD ROOFING MATERIAL WAS DISCARDED (NO STRAY ROOFING NAILS FOR THE KIDS TO STEP ON), AND WERE QUICK TO RESPOND WHEN THE FLASHING WASN'T SITTING QUITE RIGHT AFTER SETTLING ON AN EXTREMELY HOT DAY.

YOU WOULD GIVE THEM A TRIPLE A. THEY TOLD US WHAT THEY WOULD DO AND THEY DID EXACTLY WHAT THEY SAID. WE HAD TO CALL THEM BACK AND THEY SENT A GUY RIGHT OVER, NO QUESTIONS ASKED. THEY SAID IF WE HAD ANY OTHER CONCERNS JUST LET THEM KNOW.
