ALL STAR FENCE CO

We received a quote of $170 in October of 2014 to repair a fence that had been damaged in a storm. We accepted the quote and scheduled All Star to repair the fence. All Star kept delaying and cancelling appointments even though we called constantly to reschedule and remind them. It is now August of 2015 and the fence has not yet been repaired. As a result of the delay, the fence must now be replaced.

The owner came out promptly to provide an estimate, and his estimate was significantly lower than other companies I'd received estimates from. The highest estimate I received was for $3300; All Star's estimate was $2000. For that price, I could not have done the work myself. Overall, I was very happy with the fence work. The fence looks beautiful and was completed over the course of two days. The man who installed the fence kept to himself unless I came out to check on progress. While I appreciate being left alone since I work from home, this did create a few miscommunications in the beginning of the project. Instead of installing the fence directly next to my neighbors' fence, he angled it several inches out (between 8and quot; and 16and quot;). Later, he explained that this was to avoid existing concrete footings in one corner and to go over a shorter part of a rock in another. However, I would have preferred a different resolution. By the time we discussed it, it was too late to make changes. All that said, this was a great experience for the price and I'm very happy with my new fence.
