Description of Work: We had Ace Home Medics turn some space in our unfinished basement into an extra room/office/guest room, including a closet. Their work included framing, insulating, plastering, wiring, adding baseboard heating, carpet, doors, etc. The only thing we did not have them do was paint, which we opted to do ourselves. The room came out beautifully! Mat and his team were extremely professional, timely and responsive. I would definitely hire them in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to remodel.

Description of Work: Matt came to give us an estimate on a large kitchen/dining room remodel. He was friendly and came prepared to give us ideas and make suggestions on how best to go about the job. His estimate was very reasonable and he was ready to work with us to keep our project within or even a bit under the budget we we prepared for. He was very communicative and answered emails and calls promptly. It was a difficult decision and Matt was under consideration right until the end. We know we would have been very happy with his work, his professionalism really showed in our interactions and we will definitely consider using his services for future jobs.

+ 1 moreVery well. Returned calls promptly, clear communications, showed up on time, reasonable price. The sheetrock install was very good. I'm taking points off because the taping and mud could have been smoother. Too much sanding to smooth it out before painting. (I did the painting and sanding.) Yeah, It's a garage ceiling and didn't have to be a work of art, but the tape and mud could have been smoother. Overall, a B+
Description of Work: Sheetrocked and taped joints of garage ceiling. (I had previously torn down the old ceiling & put in new insulation. I don't sheetrock.)

+ 2 moreThe price was very reasonable. He is very reliable, straight forward and explained the options out to me. He was a good communicator, and he told me about the outcome before he started.
Description of Work: He pulled out some venting and some chimney. He put up a new door between the basement and the garage. He also installed a new window and replaced a set of moving doors that were probably falling apart.
