From the first contact with American Clean Air to completion of the job, we dealt with a very professional staff and workers. They were prompt and efficient and even followed up after the job was completed. Kudos to Jeannine in the office and Jason and Stephen who did the hands on work. Highly recommend this company!

The crew Justin and his partner showed up on a Saturday on time ready to work. We have a smaller home, ranch style. Originally was told it would take 3-4 hours. Well almost 8 hours later the job was completed. Justin brought me down to the basement on a few occasions to look at the amount of dust, wood, kids toys and just junk he was getting out of the duct work. I could not believe how much stuff was inside them. This company uses top notch hepa machines and tools that scrub the inside of the air ducts. It’s just amazing. This is not one of those companies that give you a price of $89.00 and then use forced air to clean. This is a company that uses all of the top equipment for this type of work. We could not be any happier. If you are looking for a professional air duct cleaning, look no further. I guarantee you will be happy. I have used American Clean Air on my two most recent homes. Many duct cleaning companies claim to clean the ducts, but only reach in from the openings and vacuum what they can reach. This company has equipment that allows them the thoroughly clean the inside of all ducts, supply and return. And they also clean the furnace itself. Both times, everyone in my family could immediately feel the difference in our air quality. When we moved into these homes, 25 and 37 years old respectively, we were breathing in all the dust, pet dander and whatever else of all the previous owners. Once that was gone, our runny noses immediately cleared up. In addition to being so thorough with the cleaning, the team also makes any minor improvements to the system they can. For instance, in my current home, they re-attached two supply ducts that had dropped down from the openings in the floor, and used special heat tape to narrow the openings on other supplies so the grill fit more securely, in both cases eliminating heat loss under the floors, and directing more into the living space. I could not say more positive things about this company and their workmanship and ethics. Their price may be a bit higher than others you compare, and that is likely because the scope of work is entirely different. ACA is the crème de la crème, the absolute best at what they do.

The experience was fantastic. Prior to hiring American Clean Air, I hired a different company that didn't go the job promised and used harsh chemicals in my home. Jason from American Clean Air came by immediately and remediate the situation. Jason was thorough, kind, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor. I highly recommend using American Clean Air to anyone.

They did a whole-house vent cleaning for us in February, 2018 - a job that that the previous owners had not done in over 40 years. We found them to be knowledgeable, hard working , efficient and friendly. The job was completed ahead of schedule. They even offered to show us the "stuff" that had been removed so we could see the results of their work. I would easily recommend them for this type of work. There seems to be a lot of low- priced vent cleaning operations out there that provide questionable service to make a quick buck. As far as I am concerned, this is not one of those companies. To me, they were professionals - from the initial contact person in their office to the technician who does the work.

Prompt reply to my call after I left a message. It was a busy week of bookings, but they put us on the wait list for cancellations, and an appointment popped up the next day. Jason arrived promptly, was very professional and informative, shared tips on how we can make small adjustments to alleviate the built up lint on our own, performed the cleaning effectively, cleaned up every last bit of lint, and came in exactly on the quoted price. I would definitely recommend this family-owned business and will use them again in the future.

The three gentlemen who performed the cleaning were most professional in their appearance, knowledge of the system used in the house, and care used in the house to make sure the job was "done right."

It went perfectly. When the men got thru I had no doubt that all my vents were just like new. I am breathing better thanks to American Clean Air.

Great! Today it was 90 degrees! These men earned every penny. The filter on the giant vaccum was overloaded with debris, including the remnants of 3 golden retrievers! (Special thanks to Tom for carrying my window AC that had to be returned down the stairs for me!)

It went well, they were very responsive, they answered all my questions, , and got right to cleaning the vent, they did an amazing job. I looked into the vent from the outside and it doesn't look like anything is there!

Jason and Mike were top notch in all respects. The arrived punctually, worked deliberately and thoroughly for 6-7 hours. Our newly constructed home's ducts were extremely dirty from the builder's failure to seal off vents during construction. Jason patiently described what they were doing and why, and offered advice on future care. All services contracted for were fulfilled, with no attempts to press for add-ons.

Jeannine was the first of 5 companies I called off of Angie's List who returned my call. The others took 2-5 days, she called me within 24 hours. She was very upfront about the pricing and service that they provide. She was so honest and forthright, that I didn't feel the need to give anyone else the opportunity to provide a quote, although I may have been able to save a few hundred dollars by doing so. A credit to Jeannine and her honesty. There were no games or hidden agendas, and she made that very clear that the quote would be between $1050-$1250. The service technicians, Jason and Colin, were very punctual. They arrived 1/2 an hour before 8am scheduled time of service and texted me that they were out front and ready whenever I was. The two of them spent about 7hrs cleaning all of the ductwork in my 1,600 sqft home . Jason went above and beyond by explaining everything that he was doing and why. He did not cut corners and made adjustments and improvements that went beyond his scope of work. The price, although seemingly higher than competitors, I felt was within reason based on the fact that an entire day was spent at my home and they worked through lunch. I would highly recommend American Clean Air to anyone considering this service, and I have already done so to family and friends.

Great. Two service techs came out. They were wonderful, informative and a pleasure to deal with! I will be using this company for all vent needs in future. I recommend them for anyone who needs this service and my neighbor has already asked me for their info. Thanks guys.

I discovered the dryer vent was so blocked, my dryer shut itself off. I called late morning, and at lunch time two gentlemen showed up and had everything fixed in a short amount of time. They were polite, friendly to me and my kids, and took the time to educate me about the work they were doing. I couldn't be happier.

This was my second time working with American Clean Air. My entire experience from booking the service to the service itself was great. Jeannine was such a pleasure to talk to on the phone when I scheduled my appointment. They had a huge job and couldn't come out for my job the week I wanted, but when their schedule freed up unexpectedly, Jeannine called me to see if I still wanted them to come out early. That worked out perfectly and I was so glad Jeannine remembered I wanted them out sooner. Jason (Jeannine's son) and his team were absolutely wonderful. They were on time despite the crazy traffic into the city after the blizzard. And because of the blizzard, I had so much snow in my driveway that Jason couldn't fit his van and run the hose from the van to the basement. His team quickly shoveled my driveway (what a bonus!) and squeezed the van onto it. I felt so bad, as these guys worked so hard to clear the snow and make a parking space for themselves. Once they got their equipment set up, they were quick and worked nonstop to clean the heating system. They even vacuumed my air filter, which extended the life of it. Jason showed me some unique things he noted about my system which were great to learn. He gave me advice on when to clean my dryer vent. They picked up after themselves and finished on time, despite the snow shoveling! This is definitely my go-to company for future air duct cleanings.

I received a phone call in advance describing exactly what would happen. My only negative comment is that they left the aluminum cut outs from the duct work on the floor and had knocked my husband's fishing reel on the floor. Otherwise, I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

I called 10/3 to get an estimate on air duct cleaning since I also need to get some major work done on my HVAC system and needed everything cleaned out first. It had been about 7 years since I had them cleaned by another company that I was not impressed with, so this time I called several other duct cleaning companies - all quickly giving me estimates over the phone without asking me any detailed questions about the house or size or square footage and told me the job would take 3-4 hours. One company even said that I could simply calculate the price myself by counting the number of supplies and return vents around my house! The prices quoted were usually around $800-900. When I called American Air and talked to Jeanine, she was the only one that asked me detailed questions about the number of systems, the square footage, the layout of the house etc...in order to give me a correct estimate. I also explained to her that I was about to get some major work done on my HVAC system and needed them cleaned out first. Based on the information I gave her she estimated that, done correctly, the job would a full day and quoted me $1200-$1450 which was considerably higher then all the other quotes I had been given. However, she explained that the job would be done correctly and that they stand by their work and reputation. She offered to have Fred Doyle come to my house on 10/7 and take a closer look. She said that they were booked solid until end of October but that because there was a possibility 10/8 would come available due to a construction delay on another job site, and said that I could let her know what I decided after we met with Fred. He came out as planned and talked to my husband, and we decided to go with them after I called Jeanine and agreed to $1500 for a full day job with the dryer vent included. Chris and Rob arrived at 8am the next morning and reviewed the whole system with me. They hauled in a huge vacuum machine, and all the equipment needed, prepared the work areas and systematically cleaned out each of my two systems one at a time, covering and cleaning out all the supply vents, and then the return vents to each zone separately. They opened up each air handler in the basement and drilled several access holes through each individual duct and did a detailed cleaning of the whole ductwork in the house including the ones going under the house base floor out into the garage. They were professional and at the end of the job carefully plugged each access hole in a way so that they can be accessed in the future, and taped and sealed all the panels and put everything back together again. They worked non-stop from 8am to 5pm, and were worth the price. Jeanine called me the next day to ask if I was satisfied. I told her that I now realize what a proper air duct cleaning job entails! My ducts looked like they had not been cleaned in 15 years and the previous company I had used 7 years ago never took the time to open up each duct, so I was not aware of the magnitude of the job. I would highly recommend them to anyone that wants the job done right.

They are very responsive, thorough, no hidden fees, no surprises. I've had a horrible experience with another provider, will never use another service again. ACA has a LOT of experience and the owners really do care about their customers, care about the relationship and keeping your business.

They were prompt and friendly. They answered my questions and went right to work. The upstairs was done first so as to avoid the attic in the afternoon sun, which is smart. They let me know the general level of dirt in the ducts and helped fix a few annoyances on the air handler. They finished sooner than expected, probably because things were pretty accessible and the dirt level wasn't bad.

When clothes were not drying, I guessed that my dryer vent was clogged, so I contacted this company. They responded immediately and came the same day to shorten, reconfigure, suspend and clean out my dryer vent, which is located in the crawlspace of my home. The employees are very professional, reliable, prompt and thorough.
