Cut out loose cement in cracks in basement and repointed the block walls. They were very prompt, efficient and very good about cleaning up. They did a lot more work than we estimated and actually ended up charging less than the estimate. They also gave me advice on how to handle a minor chimney problem while they were here. I'd recommend this company to anyone.

Big job, came out well, recommended highly and lived up to it. They showed up when expected, were low-impact on the job site and cleaned up well. The mason who did the front of the house previously is no longer active. Wanted someone careful and able to deal with the historic brick issues, though work was on the back of the house. Craig is low-key, thoughtful, and well-informed. He noticed markings on some of the original brownstone sills from the original cutting tools, which I hadn't seen, and got the new cast ones made to replicate the cut marks. He was proactive in trying to get the color matched as closely as possible to the original. Wish we'd known in advance how much dust is created by the cutting, but they used vacuums and all possible measures to minimize it. Work came out well, they even found extra details to fix without increasing the cost, such as removing the stump of an old chimney that would interfere with the new roof project. I'm hiring them again this fall.
