Excellent service. I now feel secure knowing that my sump pump will go on if the power goes off. Unfortunately, I didn’t install the battery backup before the March storms. After Global had done several jobs for me in the past, I thought I was finally going to live without water in my basement but Mother Nature had other ideas. Luckily Bob came to my rescue rather quickly after the flooding. Now I KNOW I’ll be water-free. Bob has never tried to pressure me into buying something I don’t need or can’t afford but I wish I had bought the battery years ago when he first told me about it. I won’t make that mistake again. Cost-wise, Bob will break down the requested work into separate jobs and estimate each so I can make a decision if I can afford all of the work or only some of it. I don't think I've ever worked with a service provider who either answers his phone immediately or calls back promptly. Bob has always kept our appointments, except once when another customer had an emergency. He said he was willing to come over later after hours if I needed him that day. We set up another day for my job, as rescheduling was not a problem for me. I really appreciated that he didn't leave me hanging by not showing up or not calling, like a lot of service providers do. Bob cares about his customers and I’m happy to recommend him and his company.

I had a crack in the basement wall. Every time it rained heavily, we'd have minor flooding in the basement. I contacted Global Basement Waterproofing around July 10. We emailed back and forth, I sent them a photo of the crack. They described the repair process and sent me an estimate based on the photo and made an appointment for Aug 16. I sent them a deposit. On Aug 16, they arrived on-time and we discussed the job. They basically erected a large white panel over the crack which would divert any water into the drainage system. This they completed in under 2 hours. They charged us exactly what they estimated ($450). Since then (about six months), we've had at least a half-dozen major storms, including two Nor'Easters. The fix has proven itself, we've had zero leaks, zero problems. Any downsides? I suppose some people would find the white panel to be unsightly, but we don't mind it. Bob and his crew are true professionals. We've had water issues in the lower level of our raised ranch/garage side since we purchased the property a few years ago. We brought in several basement waterproofing companies for quotes and were feeling somewhat overwhelmed with the scope of work most companies were proposing. In comes Global. Bob met with us (on time) and proposed a system that was very simple and straight-forward. He drew up the plans and quoted me a price on-site during our consultation. To our surprise, not only was the system comparable in terms of specs, performance and warranty to the competition, but it was half the average price of his competitors. I also didn't require things such as busting up our driveway, having to tie into city drainage, or mandatory regular service from the installer in order to keep the warranty. Bob and crew showed up on time the day the job was scheduled for and got right to work. They had everything installed and wrapped up about 3 hours ahead of what they originally quoted. Everything was left clean and neat and looked great. Bob went over everything in detail before leaving and made sure we were happy with the work. Best of all, everything is nice and dry! We look forward to having them back to install a patio for us, too. Give Global a chance and I doubt you'll be disappointed!

We had a french drain and sump pump installed in our basement in May 2015. We wanted to wait at least a year before posting a review because we wanted to make sure there weren't any leaks. Almost 2 years later, we are happy to say there are no leaks and the job they did was incredible. They were very friendly, showed up on time, and got the job done in less than 3 days. They never bad mouthed other companies (which is more than we could say for the other companies we received quotes from) and the quality of their work was top notch. They even installed water drains in front of the bulkhead door and water heater in case there was ever a leak. Yes, it cost a lot (10K) but was worth every penny.

I do not hesitate to highly recommend this company. The owner provides top-notch service and personal attention. He listens to your needs and takes the time to explain possible solutions with the pros and cons for each. He provides me with accurate estimates - no surprises, and performes quality work as agreed upon. It is apparent that he takes pride in his work and wants repeat business. It is good to know that there is a reliable company I can count on for maintenance, as well as to call if a problem arises.

Global Basement installed a sump pump, french drain and wall wrap system in my leaky cobble stone foundation basement. Later on I also had them install a rear sliding door at my residence. It was a pleasure to deal with them on both occasions. They always returned my calls promptly (within 24 Hours). They arrived to the job site on time on the day that they said they would (can't say that for most contractors). Best of all they left the area they worked in cleaner than they found it. Robert was upfront about any complications they ran into and layed out my options before making any final decisions. I was very satisfied with both the waterproofing and the install of the door. No leaks at all since the system was installed about 1 year ago. I recommend using this company and plan on having them do some more work for me when the time is right. This company is trustworthy as you can tell from the A+ rating. Two thumbs up.

It went great! The technician, Rubin was excellent. Professional, polite, responsive, immaculate and knowledgeable. He came exactly on time also. I own this two family and have two systems which were both serviced as was requested. One was quite dirty and the pump had seized as a result (I should have had this service done a while ago, my fault). Rubin cleaned everything and the pump now works fine. Then he attended to the other system which was not in the same bad shape but he did everything to make sure it continues to work as it's supposed to. This system has a battery back up which was not working as the battery went bad. It lasted as long as is normal so I had it replaced. Rubin had a new one on his truck so it was done immediately. Now I have both systems working perfectly and feel very prepared for any big rainfalls that might be coming. I had a very good experience with this company when all was originally installed and now again with this service (which I will now do more regularly). The owner, Bob, is the nicest guy. Returns calls. Comes when he says. Knows what he's talking about. His crew is the same. Clean cut. Well mannered. Trustworthy. Rubin came with everything he needed and left the area cleaner than when he arrived. Would highly recommend Global Basement Waterproofing.

The person who came out was nice and polite, but you have to dig up the whole basement practically and take down parts of the walls and so on. So we didn't end up doing that yet. He recommended that I find out where the water was leaking before I did anything.

Installed a French drain system, basement wall panels, crawl space wrap, dehumidifier/air purifier and sump pump. Options and pricing were better than competitive proposals, scheduling was timely, and work was completed efficiently and neatly with no follow-up needed on our part. Global was refreshingly straightforward to deal with, and a very positive experience overall. Wish more contractors were like this company!

They were very professional and the man came himself to evaluate my basement. He was present when the work was done. They were very professional and left my basement clean. The work was guaranteed for the life of my home. They were cheaper than the other people I contacted and were right here when they said.

I already had several estimates from other companies, so I had an approximate idea of the square footage.They gave me a phone estimate. He was very flexible and was competitively priced. Initially, they thought the job would take 2 1/2 days but I was hoping it would only take 2. As a result, they added another crewmember and were then able to finish the job in 2 days. They were courteous and did a good job of cleaning up after themselves. They whistled while they worked and were very pleasant to have around.
