Doug Anderson Plumbing & Heating

I needed 2 backflow preventers replaced , a water heater repaired and a to0ilet repaired. I had a quote from a very famous local plumbing/heating company for $4000! I called Doug for a second opinion and he came in at HALF the price!! and that was AFTER I showed him the first quote! He didn't seem surprised at all about the first quote. Not only was he half the price but he pointed out that my 6 year warranty on my water heater had 6 months left and said I could get a new one thru that warranty for $100!!! He took care of going thru the company getting me the new heater. He completed the job in a few hours. I will NEVER call another plumber again! My recommendation is to run, not walk, to get Doug for your needs. On top of that he is so very nice. I would give 10 stars if I could.

Had a pinhole leak in a copper pipe, in tight quarters. Found Doug on the internet, he picked up the call. Told me he'd call me back to discuss that evening... and actually did (a rarity). Had me text pictures and based on those figured out the approach and said he'd come the next day. Came when he said he would and fixed the problem inside of an hour. Pricing was absolutely reasonable. Was happy to chat about a couple of other potential projects I had. In a world where it's difficult to find reliable skilled trades, I have nothing but the highest recommendation for Doug.

Doug was very responsive and helpful. He didn't do the work himself, but handled all of the customer service and scheduling. The total cost came in a bit more than the high range of the estimate, but the work was done quickly and without hassle.

My sink kept dripping from the faucet and I've done almost every trick from internet research but to no avail. I hired Doug and he was great. I'm a DIY-type guy and most professionals don't want to work with guys like me. He was very helpful and called me a few times to walk me through some steps. He even suggested I could've done all of this myself and I could save the $. I wanted him to look at it though and try to get some more pro tips. He gave me great advice for the time (I had to cut him really short because I had a holiday party to attend which I had forgotten about).

The company replaced my boiler and hot water heater over the New Year's Eve holiday. What company does that today? They did. The system was installed in the time frame and within the budget we agreed upon. They checked on the system to make sure it was working as promised. The system installed is an art piece. I rate them over 5 stars!

Doug Anderson was great to work with. His bid for the work was in line with other bids for the same system, but he took care of every aspect of the job (Oil tank removal, arranging electrical work, inspections, cement repair, additional thermostat, etc..) The boiler install went smoothly and system works well for us. Replacing a boiler is a big job, and it mattered a lot to have someone do the job with such care and consideration.
