It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. The work that I needed done wasn’t anything that they do. They were for roofs and I had a gutter problem. I explained to him what the problem was, he looked at it and then he told me that it was not really what they do. They were friendly, prompt and courteous. They showed me what the problem was.They gave me a fair price. I had a bunch of estimates and the prices were all over the place.

Everything went well. We really liked the quality of the company's products, we appreciated that they arrived on time and acted professionally during their visit, and we liked the company's responsiveness to our calls. We also liked that they had a permanent team of employees that would do the work. Because of this, we plan on having them complete the project.

The owner,Tom Gordon is a professional....! He was our guide all the way thru the job. Everything done according to contract. At last a company that truly cares about it's customers!

Very satisfactory evaluation. Ryan arrived at the scheduled time and seemed to do a thorough examination of the whole roof--- shingles, leading, etc. He also checked the attic crawl space to see if any water had seeped through. Afterwards he took the time to explain my options and the possible time frame for replacing the shingles. I liked the way he presented facts without pressuring me to have the work done immediately. (I may have it done this year anyhow.) Good job.

The job went extremely smoothly. It rained the two days that we originally planned for and had to push it out two days. Tom (contractor) was extremely good at communicating ahead of time so there were no surprises. The crew worked hard to get the job done in a day to make up for the rain delay. Tom was extremely flexible with all aspects of the job. Everything from where the dumpster would go to adding a few extras at no additional cost. Tom also came out a couple of times during the job to make sure it was going well and came back the next day after it was done to do a walk around inspection to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. Including checking the grounds to make sure everything was cleaned up properly. I can't say enough good things about this company and how well they did and how great the new roof looks. If you need a new roof these are the guys to call.

Great! Tom's crew showed up on time and worked through the day to get what was supposed to be a quick and easy project done that day. Once the crew started taking off the old porch roof, they found several unexpected surprises(several layers of roofing and no plywood). They ended up replacing our roof from the plywood up. The crew was friendly and seemed careful in their work. The only complaint was a few cigarette butts left around the area they were working. We brought this to Tom's attention at the end of the project and he was very appolagetic and agreed stray cig. butts left on site were not acceptable.

Twin Metals Roofing did a wonderful job and I highly recommend them. I called and asked if they could come out to look at my 15 year old roof because I noticed some shigles in my yard following last winter's nasty weather. Tom, one of the owners, sent somone out the next day - he found that my 15 year-old home had defective shingles from a company that was currently battling several law suits because of the defect. Tom and team recommended a new roof but was perfectly willing to replace those that had fallen off...and touch up some other areas that needed attention. I decided to go with the new roof and we settled on a price. Once I gave them the go-ahead they had a dumpster in my driveway in a couple of days - and the whole job took a day and a half...I was amazed at how clean they left the place, it was like they were never there (except of course for the great new roof!). Because Tom and team were certified to install the particular manufacturer's shingles he was able to give me a 50-year warranty on both materials and labor. All in all a great experience...one less thing to worry about as a homeowner!

I bought an angie list big deal for my roof inspection. This roof is fairly old, and needs to be replaced within a few years. I was concerned about shingles coming off the roof. The provider showed up on time, and went on the roof to do a thorough inspection. He repaired shingles, as necessary, and reseated a number of them. He missed a few since the slope of the roof was too steep. He gave me a very detailed report, and confirmed that the roof can live for several more years given regular maintenance. Btw, I knew about the regular maintenance for the aging roof from the house inspector, so this info totally matched my expectations. He also gave me a quote for a roof replacement, whenever the time comes, even though the replacement is not needed now.

Assuming the leak does not resume in the future, I am very happy with the results. Twin Metals was easy to schedule with and was in constant contact through email which worked well with my schedule. I had initially hoped that the leak would be easy to identify and purchased a roof maintenance coupon. After the initial inspection of the roof, it was determined that the work was too complicated to do on the coupon. Twin Metals then gave me a quote and deducted the cost of the coupon from the final cost. Twin Metals showed up on time, walked me through the work they were doing, and were pretty clean. The new skylight looks good, the roof looks good, and if it doesn't leak, I'll have no complaints.

The office was very responsive and I was able to schedule the appointment for within a few days of my call. The technician, Ryan, arrived promptly, patiently listened to me describe a few areas of concern, performed a thorough inspection, and fixed three things (caulked vent flashing, replaced a few missing shingles and replaced a couple of missing screws in the gutter) all under the umbrella of the $149 package. He also advised on probable lifespan of my now 19 year old roof and ways to extend it. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the service and helpful suggestions.

.Due to unseasonable weather conditions and snow/cold conditions the appointment had to be rescheduled several times but company kept on top of my situation and weather and was finally able to perform the services despite weather obstacles. I was very pleased with response time from beginning to end. Quote was thorough and reasonable.

The company communicated promptly and accommodated my schedule.There was a little confusion over the details of the deal. The deal was to include a thorough roof walk/inspection and minor repairs. I needed my chimney flashing resealed and that is why I chose this deal. The company called to let me know that the inspection would be more for steeper roofs which was not specified in the deal, but they offered to refund my money if it was not acceptable. I scheduled it anyway and ultimately, did not need to pay the extra because a full roof walk was not needed. They could not fix the flashing properly because of the age of the flashing, but they sealed it with caulking to make sure it won't leak. Overall the experience was good, but I rated the price a B because I have seen other similar deals for less money.

They called me to let me know that they would arrive within thirty minutes to give me time to get from work to home to meet their worker. He went right to work inspecting the roof, and quickly identified which part of the roof was where the new vent pipe was added. He was very professional throughout, and had the repairs done within 45 minutes.

They did an excellent job, and they were very reasonably priced. They were very clear as to what they were going to do, and they finished the job efficiently. After the job was done, they did an excellent job of cleaning up. They were very punctual and showed up with the materials they needed, so there was no tardiness. They were easy to communicate with. We wanted specific things done, and it was easy to work with them.

I had previously used them for roofing. They are very good. I am waiting on some other people to come out. They are professional. I will use them if I can get around the problem I am having now with another company.
