Description of Work: Removed a very large tree (over 60 feet tall), large limbs over house from another large tree, and some small trees. Needed large crane and had to maneuver large tree pieces over house and power lines. Excellent clean up work afterwards.

Description of Work: Marquis Tree Service removed 15 large pine trees from around our house in a day using their large crane. The crew was fast, efficient and hard-working. Many of the trees were near sensitive wetlands and surgical removal was required by the town. When they were done, there was nothing left but stumps and some sawdust. I would highly recommend this company. The price was reasonable as well.

Description of Work: I had a tree that had a leader break off. Upon their inspection it was obvious that the trunk was rotted. The rest of the tree was leaning over the house and needed to be removed. Due to the position over the far end of the house and rotted trunk, the only way to remove was by crane. I also needed it removed quickly due to putting our house on the market. Marquis responded very quickly, giving me a firm quote in a day and a removal scheduled the following week. The afternoon of the job, they arrived with crane, chipper and crew. They removed the tree, leader and any mess within a couple hours. Great job!

It was a major operation as the trees were upwards of 80 ft tall and needed to use the large trucks to take them down. They were very professional and we could not have been more pleased with their cleanup and price.

Description of Work: Marquis's crew removed a large tree in our backyard. They were very efficient. They cleaned up the area of all small branches, etc after they were done.

Description of Work: First of all, they were punctual, from the first visit to get an estimate, to the last visit to grind the stumps. They were professional all the way and pleasant to deal with. | |I had a couple of sets of trees that were too close to the house and needed to come down. Peter came right on time to provide an estimate, and the team showed up right on time to do the work. It took a good 5 hours or so to get the trees down and do the cleanup - no room fo a bucket truck so it required one of them to climb and remove each tree from the top down. They put down some protective sheets to protect the flagstone walkway from the track vehicle they used to cart away the debris, and afterwards did a nice job of cleaning up. A week or so later 'Chip' came by to grind the stumps, taking them all the way down to minus nothing. | |I think they did a great job for a good price. I would recommend Marquis without reservation

Description of Work: Marquis brought in their large crane to cut and lift several 80 foot pines growing at the rear of our property completely over our house. It was a stunning sight. There work was impeccable and their prices very fair. They did absolutely first rate work. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Description of Work: I had a 60 ft silver maple with a trunk about 4 ft wide at the bottom, plus huge branches, removed from my back yard. The access was difficult as there is little space between the houses. They had to set up the crane in the street, and lift the cut branches over the house. They also arranged for the police detail, and made sure my neighbors were not blocked in. They were done in 3 hours. The cost was $3000 for tree removal, $200 for police detail, and $400 for stump grinding. Everything was done safely and professionally.

Description of Work: The Marquis team did an excellent, efficient, detailed job restoring an ancient Norway Maple to continue its long life safely in the event of high winds, taking away numerous dead trees and included the stump grinding. Much pruning of viable trees and clean up was accomplished, agreeably and all in one days work. I recommend John's team and John without any hesitation.
