The crew arrived on time and everything went smoothly. The timing of doing one task after another was like clock work. The only thing I didn't like is that you are only given a few days notice before the job is scheduled. Maybe this is the nature of the business.

John was very professional. Contacting him, getting an estimate, finalizing the contract and getting the work done was very easy. He came when he said he would and had the work done when he said he would.

They did a great job. Seem very knowledgeable about paving. For example, we needed to have a tree removed wher ethe new driveway was to be. They were the only people that seemed to know what to do relative to pulling out the roots (yes, and they did it for us). They have a great deal of equipment and came with a large crew so the work was done in about 4 hours total.We love the new driveway!

John's crew showed up on time to provide a quote for the driveway. He was courteous and patiently answered our questions. After making an appointment, John and his crew showed up on time. They were very profession and organized about different aspect of the work. They paid attention to details. The work was done very efficiently within 8 h. They explained how to care for the blacktop after they finished. We are very happy with their work and will definitely hire them again.

Our first winter in the house we had an ice rink several inches thick between the door and the cars! We found Biagiotti on Angie's List and asked them for an estimate. The man who came out, sorry I can't remember his name, was very professional. He explained how the slope was wrong and how to fix it - tree root caused a sort of frost heave that changed the direction of the water flow toward the house instead of down the drive. He told us all the materials they would use and said it would be done in one day. He said it would be three weeks before they could get to us but he would call with the exact date with advanced notice. He did call us three days ahead, as promised, and they took care of having the utilities marked etc. The crew showed up right on time. They were very fast! We have two large flower beds that they had to work around and they did not damage either one. They even used our water hose to check the water flow and be sure the problem was solved. We are very happy with the job they did!

Everything went like clockwork. Job took about 4 1/2 hours. They were able to remove a small boulder that likely was the cause of the frost heave in the old driveway. They showed up on time, cleaned up well, driveway looks great!

Everything went well from start to finish. John responded immediately to our inquiry and came out and provided a quote. The paving crew did a great job replacing our driveway and addressed all of our requests. We liked how responsive John was and that he met all of his commitments. They were quick and professional. Our driveway looks great and the problems we had were resolved.

He came last year. He was very prompt in responding with the estimate. He filled the section with gravel and was supposed to patch the area. We thought he would patch a larger portion, and I don't think he used enough gravel. We eventually called because it was collecting water and didn't seem fixed. He came out at no charge, which I appreciated and patched it again, but it still doesn't look good. He was fairly responsive, but the quality of the job was not good.

Very responsible & willingly came back second time to increase asphalt on sink hole area when I requested it. Would definitely use him again in future & highly recommend him.

We had our driveway paved with 1.5" of top coat. John and his crew were on time, very professional and did above and beyond what I expected. I recommend him highly!

He responded immediately to my initial voice mail message that I left over a weekend and with in a few days came out to mark off and measure the work area from which he calculated a quote. I asked that he finish the job by the end of the month, but he honestly told me that it would be 3 weeks before he could complete the work, to which I agreed. Then he came out exactly 3 weeks later as he originally promised!!! His crew completed the job in a single day, doing exactly what was outlined in the original quote. The job was done extremely professionally and neatly and at the exact cost of the quote, which was lower than others. He also left an instruction guide for maintaining the driveway. A+++

Absolutley perfect. He certainly knows his stuff. We told him about a flooding problem with the old driveway and he explained exactlly why it was happening. When he dug up the old driveway there was not enough gravel underneath and therefore it caved in the middle, causing backup into my garage. He also did a water test and told us what additional steps needed to be done to assure the water would go out not in my garage. He is very knowledgable and quite fair with his price. Came on time and finished to our liking. Also, he guaratees his work for a year. Would recommend him in a heatbeat.

They arrived as scheduled and removed the old driveway. They also removed a number of tree roots that were destroying the old driveway. They then graded the dirt and placed and rolled a gravel layer followed by a coarse asphalt which was also rolled. At that time the weather threatened heavy rain so work was suspended and they said they would return the next day to finish. The next day they returned on time and laid down the top layer and rolled it. It looks beautiful. Had to park the cars off the driveway for several days to let it harden.

John and his crew were prompt and did an excellent job of replacing the existing driveway. It looks terrific and will hopefully will hold up well over time.He delivered everything he promised in his estimate and I was impressed with his professionalism and follow through.

We made an appointment for an estimate. John was right on time and spent a good amount of time reviewing our requirements and making suggestions on the work that was necessary. John's estimate was about in the middle of the various estimates we received. We went with John due to the detailed explanation he provided on the work that would be performed and also based on another job we reviewed in our neighborhood where the work was done exceptionally well. John's crew came two weeks later. This was just about the timeframe he said he would be able to start the job. They first day, they worked all day and completed the excavation work, the loading and compacting of the gravel and the first coat of paving. On the second day they completed the finished coat. John's crew was very professional and worked hard. We are very happy with the finished product. The grading leading up to the garage was done with precision. The work was done exactly as we had requested and it looks spectacular. A nice finishing touch was a brochure John's company handed out that explains how to take care of your new driveway. I would highly recommend John J. Biagiotti Asphalt Paving for any paving needs you may have. We will have John back in the spring to do the seal coating for the new driveway.

It went very smoothly. The job was completed in one day, despite having some challenges due to limited pitch of the driveway to the street.

I was putting this off for three years. Each year I would call him and each year, he would come down and quote me. Finally I decided to do this when grass was growing in the cracks of the asphalt. Unfortunately the cost was $4000 more than three years before due to the cost of asphalt. He was, however, the least expensive and was local. I was not around when they did it but when I went to work, he came with lots of heavy equipment. Once visit he removed the old stuff. The second visit, he re-graded and put the binder coat on. The final visit he put the finish coat of asphalt on. The final coat was higher off the ground than I thought. To do it lower (with burms) would have involved taking all the gravel out, digging deeeper, and putting it back in. No doubt that would have added to the price. Three years later, I am totally fine with it. The driveway still looks brand new. I would totally recommend him and would use him again.

Provider came out to look at site and provided an estimate. My concern about drainage and thickness of end result in regards to existing driveway were answered. Company provides general liability and workers compensation insurance. Due to work, I was not home for this 1/2 day job. At the outset did speak with crew about where underground gutter pipe and lines of irrigation may be. Results were great. Happy customer. Thank you.

Our asphalt driveway was very cracked with plants growing up through the cracks. We had been meaning to replace it for many years, but just kept procrastinating. When we finally decided to go ahead with the job this summer, we called Biagotti Paving for an estimate. John came out promptly and talked with me about the job. He explained that he would need to remove the old asphalt, regrade the area, put down a gravel base, and then apply two coats of asphalt. John's price was very competitive and he seemed knowledgeable and professional, so we decided to give him the job. He and his crew arrived as expected on the scheduled day. Unfortunately, a couple of hours into the day, one of John's crew accidentally cut our cable TV wire, which runs under the driveway. John immediately called and informed me of the problem. He repaired the wire and gave me the option of continuing the job or stopping the work so that Comcast could come and check the wire. I opted for the latter as between TV and Internet that wire costs me a pretty penny each month! John was understanding and halted work until Comcast could come and check the repair. After the cable wire was all set, the crew finished the job and the driveway looks 110% better than before. We had a super heavy rainstorm right after the job was done and were very pleased to see the rivers of water running away from the house and little or no puddling on the driveway itself. This is no small feat as my house has a garage under, so all the water runs down from the street into the yard. I would definitely hire Biagotti paving again.

I was very happy with the project. It went very smoothly from the first contact to set up the estimate to the job completion. John and his team did a create job installing the top coat paying attention to details and insuring the driveway sloped away from the house.

The asphalt is very even and smooth and we have lots of room to park now. We have received lots of compliments from our neighbors! The price was almost $1000 less than other quotes we got and the quoted price was the actual price. We would absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone.
