In my review at that time I said I'd come back later to say how it is holding up. It still looks like new and drains as it should. We are very happy with it.

They were excellent! Bill was very responsive in giving me an accurate estimate and realistic timeframe for getting to the job. Their quote was lower than another contractor who was very busy at the time. They showed up right on time on the day promised and did a great job. The tree stump was a bit of a pain. They even removed an old cement step and had the driveway grade upward so that the step was no longer needed. I highly recommend them.

Everything about it went as planned. From the estimate to the actual work, they were honest, accurate and quick. The driveway was demoed in a short time. The pack that they did prior to installing the asphalt was perfect and tight. we could drive on it while we were waiting for the weather to clear up for install. it took a few days for that to happen, but they were here and new driveway installed in about 4 hours. waiting now for the asphalt to harden so we can drive on it. Very pleased with the transaction. Would not hesitate to refer them in an instant.

I couldn't have asked for a better job or crew of workers. I received a call a day in advance letting me know there coming the next morning. They showed up as promised and started right into the job. the professional attitude was a pleasant thing in this day and age of lack of care. They did the job and left the area as nice as when they arrived except there was this nice new driveway where the old junk was

Exceptional! A large crew of workers completed the driveway in two days, Used meticulous care along the edges and around fixed structures. They came exactly when they promised, about 3 weeks after booking the contract. Highly recommend them.

If you add one condition to the contract (and have them write it into the contract!) I would recommend them and give them an A. Specify that the driveway have a minimum pitch of 1 1/2 inches --"pitch" is the angle of the driveway surface that causes the water to run off. The driveway they put in at my house does not have the proper pitch in places. 1 inch per 10 ft is the minimum recommended -- though most recommendations I have seen suggest that 1 1/2 inches per 10 ft. is better. About 2/3 of the driveway they put in meets the minimum pitch of 1 inch per foot (just barely), but 1/3 of the driveway does not. This means that in the flatter sections there is some puddling of rainwater. The puddling will shorten the life of the driveway. Also, it will probably leave some ice patches in the winter. The contractor also made the last 1 1/2 ft of the driveway in front of the garage so that it is pitched toward the garage instead of away from it. When I called them, they did come out to look at it, but they suggested that since there was no puddling and the weatherstripping gasket at the bottom of the door seemed to keep the moisture from getting under the garage door it would be better not to try to reverse the pitch so that it is away from the garage. I am pretty easy-going (probably too easy-going) and accepted their advice. Other than the issue with inadequate pitch, the experience was a good one. The estimator was prompt and courteous. The contractor showed up when he said he would. John and his crew were all courteous and worked efficiently, getting the job done by early afternoon. The driveway is right against my property line. I told them that my neighbor was rather particular that they not disturb his property -- John and the crew were careful about that. I got three estimates before having the job done. This contractor was halfway between the quotes by the other two. The other two thought that they could get by without hiring a policeman to direct traffic -- maybe their experience with the town allowed them to just use one of their crew. I don't know. Someone certainly had to be their to deal with traffic. They said that accounted for about $400 of the quoted price.

The quality of work is incredible, had driveway done last year by another contractor and it looked horrible, hired John and his crew to resurface it ,driveways now look 500% better only thing I regret us not hiring John originally, if you are looking for professional flawless job call John Biagiotti first and you wont be sorry.

Bill, the estimator, was quick, friendly, responsive, and very knowledgable. The crew, led by John Biagiotti, arrived on time, with plenty of manpower, and all the heavy equipment needed for the job. They knew exactly what they needed to do, asked me a few smart last minute questions about details of how I wanted the job done, and set to work quickly and efficiently. They got the job done in about 3-4 hours, which shocked me with its speed. When they left, the area was squeaky clean, and the new paving looked perfect. They even took some of the soil they had removed when they leveled the base ground, and used it to feather where the old uneven ground met the new flat asphalt. So, they were on-time, fast, efficient, tidy. Did exactly what they said they'd do. When they were finished, I looked at the work, and I thought they'd left the new asphalt too high, so that there was a little bit of a "hump" where the new asphalt met the old driveway. As the new asphalt dried over the next few days, it shrank. You guessed it. After the shrinkage, it matched the old paving nicely. I thought that was an impressive display of skill. Price was a lot less than I was expecting.

Excellent! Job took about 4 hours. Within 20 minutes, the old driveway was completely removed. New underlayment was then put down and packed, followed by 2 coats of asphalt. 1st coat is 3/4" granularity, 2nd coat is 3/8" granularity. Sloped toward the street for drainage. Also they made the driveway a bit shorter but double wide, to my specs. Looks great! I'm letting it cure for ~1 year, then I'll have it seal coated.

The job was done very well. They worked extremely **** ** a very hot day. They removed a very large driveway and walkway and replaced it with a new one. We are very pleased with their work. They were very courteous and we would highly recommend them.

It went very well. John and his crew arrived on time at a little past seven in the morning. Proceeded to measure out the driveway and begin the removal of the old blacktop. They completed all the work by about 10:30 AM. Everyone was behaved professionally.

the job was done correctly and within the time frame they provided. I regret they didn't communicate very well about the seal coating (not part of the quote so me may need to do this for an additional cost). But good job overall for a fair price!

Bid was made very promptly; price seemed reasonable. I was not home when they estimated, but my questions were promptly and fully answered by phone. Crew arrived with a day's notice, within the window predicted, all as promised. Workers were courteous, professional, clearly good at what they do. In a half day's time we had a beautiful new driveway that appears to drain as it should and looks like care was taken in every detail. No messes were left behind. We were given printed information on how to care for the new driveway. In choosing a company from the bids, I could not decide based on inches of material to be used--how do you know how much is needed? The internet says "it depends." And when comparing, we didn't know if some providers exaggerated a little. Nor could I go by price, among those within our budget, because there could be many reasons for the differences. I chose Biagiotti based on customer reviews on this list and in other places; they scored much better than all the others I looked at. Now I am happy to add my voice to this chorus. As we see how our driveway performs over time, if I remember I will come back here and update.

I called and asked for an estimate to seal coast my driveway. They promptly got me an estimate the next day. We schedule a date and time to come, they arrive on time. They were in and out quickly with no mess. I would highly recommend!

The team showed up on time and were very professional. They worked tirelessly on one of the hottest days of the year. The quality of work is outstanding.

I can't say enough good things about John J Biagiotti Asphalt Paving. They were very professional and do A+ work. John certainly used plenty of asphalt on both coats of the driveway. The owner John was honest and straight to the point. No pressure just a fair price. Did exactly what they said they were going to do. Left the driveway and yard neat, spotless, and well groomed. Driveway looks awesome.

They did a thorough, careful, and neat job. They straightened up the railroad ties at the far end of one driveway to ensure the edge would be tidy. The other driveway comes right up to the side of the house and to a white fence, and there is not a spatter to be seen. The driveways are smooth and of even depth. My toddler had a blast seeing the red trucks and the construction equipment. We are very pleased with the work, and got exactly what we paid for.

I am unable to get a claim. Although John Biagiotti did indicate that he will get it done and send me the bill and I am still trying to find qualified contractors to address the issue. He has offered to pay, but I still didn't find the means of getting it fixed. Other than this everything is fine. They also did the driveway for me 10 years ago.

They were one of three different paving companies we talked to and I happen to have a long term relationship with that particular family. I know them to be very reputable and when their price came in lowest on the list it was an easy choice. All three estimates that we got were very professional, very easy to work with and I had no complaints about any of them.
