I find this review bogus and lacking information. We have been in business for over 20 yrs. We would never just tell someone we, "Would not tune up my lawn mower just said to buy another". There has to be more to this ,than what is being said. This individual may have not liked that we suggested she purchase, or invest in a new lawn mower, but I can vehemently say, there had to be a reason: Safety issue(deck rotted,hole in deck, missing safety control), Age (repairs/tune-up) would have cost more than the unit was worth....... Something? She may have found someone to repair/fix her lawnmower after leaving us. We don't operate that way, If there is a safety issue or a monetary concern we will not work on the machine. We will not jeopardize anyone's safety or take your money when it makes more sense to put it toward a new machine. There is a lot of missing info in this review, that wasn't given. I'm sorry this individual didn't like our profession opinion, but I can guarantee it was accurate and in the best interest of the owner and all individuals that may have been using or around that machine , financially or for safety concerns.

Not sure how we rated a "D" for pricing when we gave an estimate and the customer ok'd it. The customer had the option of having the work performed or not at that price. We never heard from this customer that he was having additional issues after the fact. It did come in for a " no start" do to bad gas that clogged the carburetor. We start all equipment prior to the customer taking it, so they see and hear it run. Is it possible that bad gas, or old gas was put back in it again? We can fix anything, we can educate you on proper fuel use and storage, we can't prevent the anyone from using old gas or contaminated gas that will cause the issue to happen again, if this was the case. Its not fair to give a poor review when you don't know the true reason it won't start again, if it was something we failed on, let us know so we can fix it. We do stand behind our work. 20+ years of business proves that. But if it was user error, don't try to make us look bad. Its not right.

Description of Work: I bought parts. However they were helpful and talked me through it. I would definitely go back to them. They seem to know their stuff and also be open to provide parts for the Do IT Yourself-ers.

Dropped off blower at J and J shop for service of the problem. They said they would be in touch. They cleaned the clogged ehaust port and had the blower ready in a few days. When I picked up the tool, they explained the importance of using the correct gas/oil ratio when mixing the two. That may be a cause for the carbon build up. Since getting it back the blower is working almost like new.
Description of Work: Blower was operating poorly - very low power output, almost stalling. The tech cleaned the exhaust port which was clogged with carbon build up.
