GOT IT MAID

It went great. I would not use anyone else. I had them do French doors because it would have taken forever and they did a great job on them. They did garage doors and cabinet doors as well as the windows.

It was getting late in the year and I really wanted the windows cleaned before the holidays. I called Got it Maid and left a couple of messages. The first went astray and I feared they had gone out of business. But Drew called me back and I was able to set up an appointment for the following week. They arrived on time as usual and did an excellent job on the inside windows and storm windows on our Victorian house. They had the patience to deal with and work around the idiosyncrasies of 158-year-old windows which we appreciated because historic preservation is important to us. We maintain the original windows and have no plans to install replacement windows--ever, so finding a company with the ability to work with our antique windows and frames was great.

Got It Maid promptly responded to the voice message I left. I did not set up an appointment immediately because I was waiting for someone to remove a window air conditioner. They offered to remove the unit for me. A week later I took them up on their offer and was given the choice of a few dates. On the chosen day, they arrived on time and quickly got to work on my twenty-four windows, not only cleaning them but also removing paint left on the storm windows by a painting contractor. (Window lights around my doors and divided lights on the back door counted as one window.) I also have two greenhouse windows, they cleaned the paint drips and washed those windows too, upstairs and downstairs. They did such a good job that I asked them if they would also clean a set of French doors and the muti-paned glass doors to a large lighted wall unit. The extra work cost $20 and was well worth it, since getting the doors of the lighted unit streak-free was nearly impossible for me. They did not charge for removing the air conditioner, so I saved the money I would have paid someone else. This company is highly recommended and I will use it again in 2010!

They were very thorough, punctual, and I would hire them again. We are looking into additional services they provide. It was a favorable experience.

They arrived on-time and did a fantastic job. The windows looked so great when they finished that I haven't put the clean curtains back up yet. Unfortunately, they left the screens in the up position and I prefer them down but I never mentioned it so that's my fault, not theirs. And the greenhouse window in the kitchen has drips but those were easy to overlook since the seal on the double-glazed window is faulty and the glass is cloudy in spots. And, I wish they had been able to clean the glass behind the screen in the storm door, but I didn't ask. These were all very minor problems.

Have used this company several times for window cleaning and they've always been prompt, efficient, thorough and easily accessible.
