+ -1 moreJohn Morrissey is not there right now. He had a whole week to do it while I was away and he has other jobs so I don't know when he will be finished but he does good work. I didn't get an estimate but everybody seems to like him. He has done some other work around like he has taken care of some reams on my roof. He does a lot of work. He has still got some staining to do and finishing up the wood. He came by on Saturday like he said he would but I was sleeping because I had been working on Friday night. He has keys to my place so he can come whenever he wants and he is a very nice guy. He is usually punctual and he is very thorough.The price seems a little expensive. He has everything set up on the patio and he cleans everything up. I am a little disappointed because I thought that it would be finished while I was away for a week and it has been going on since the 11th of May. He is very professional because the whole thing is laid out well and designed well. He has already gotten other jobs in the condo and one of the people whose condo he is going to remodel is a professional carpenter and I think that is a pretty good recommendation there.

+ 3 moreThe project took a little longer than expected, but it was well worth the wait because he did great work at a reasonable price. We did the demo and painting ourselves and he took care of framing, blueboard (used sub for plastering), installed wainscott, tile (shower, and bathroom floor), installed electric radiant heating under tile, custom shower pan, doors and custom shelving in the linen closet and shower. He included all of the materials in his price, except for the tile and radiant heating kit. He was very transparent and did a good job to make sure we were on the same page. There were a couple of times where we had a misunderstanding/miscommunication but we were able work through them smoothly. I had to follow up on a couple of things.... (one of the doors was sticking and some groutwork needed to be re-addressed) He was there the very next day to take care of it and did a great job.
Description of Work: We renovated our bathroom which included a full gut, relocation of the entrance, custom walk-in shower with build in shelves, and a linen closet with custom shelving. John was responsible for the rough and finish carpentry and tile work.
