Allan Painting

Allan & his team have been at my home at least 4 times in the last 6 months. They are always punctual, professional & perfectionists!! I cannot rave about them enough. I would not even consider have a different painter at my house. My most recent job was small, but last fall they painted the exterior of my 4,000+ sq ft home and did an excellent job. Thank you Allan & Team!!

Allan and his team arrived as scheduled on time at 7:30 A. M. on January 13th. They moved furniture out of the way to clear the living room. Since the weather was nice, he asked and we allowed furniture to be placed out on the deck. At the end of the day, about 3:30, the furniture was moved back in and the crew left. They had completed nearly all the ceilings (except for the upstairs high stairway ceiling), the living room walls, and the bathroom walls. They arrived on the 14th at 7:30 and finished the remaining work by noon. This included an extra coat on the hallway walls. The crew worked well together. Their work was very professional. They were quick, neat, and efficient.

Paid for job in thirds. Took about 4-5 days actual working time. Dan was foreman and is excellent, very attentive to your needs and doing the job right. All the men were experienced, polite, no loud crazy music. Allan did the estimate and took care of the paint supply, worked out the details of paint selection with me. Good follow up. Much more pleased with the job than previous painter.

We were particularly pleased with the services rendered by Dan and Pete. They revitalized our flaking upstairs bathroom ceiling, and made it look brand new. We are especially pleased with the color (Key Largo Green) of the upstairs bathroom. Dan also patched up the wallpaper in the dining room and made it look seamless. Our old deck was rejuvenated by the sanding and staining. Allan was quite meticulous in matching the correct stain with the color of our front stairs. Their team was prompt and cleaned up after everything was done. Would highly recommend.

Allan's professionalism showed in his quick response to my initial email. Came out within a few days to see the job. Promptly emailed his proposal. At first thought it seemed a little high but after a bad experience which left the walls in poor condition I learned 'you get what you pay for'! Allan and his crew were easy to 'live' with (they were here for 4 days) and very accomodating. Their work is impeccable. The areas they worked on look brand new. They take great care in the work the do and the result is quality! Now I want them to paint the rest of the house! I appreciate the email communication and quick responses to each.

Working with Allan and his crew was a great experience. They showed up on time, explained what their plans were and got to work. They moved the furniture where necessary and drop cloths were placed over everything. They checked e in with me several times on the details. They even noticed mistakes on the ceiling and floor made by previous painters and fixed them. The results were outstanding. The walls and the woodwork look fantastic. There are no drips of paint. Where walls of two different colors meet and where the walls meet the ceiling everything is even. When they finished, all furniture was replaced, outlet plates were put back and the floors were cleaned. Except for the new wall colors it was like they were never there.

Dan was the foreman for this job, and he was very professional and respectful. Dan, Allan (the owner) and I were able to discuss various elements of the project easily, and they was responsive to my concerns. The other painters on the team were also courteous and friendly. They worked very hard, and the job took 5-6 days. They sanded the old trim beyond my expectations. The house looks beautiful - great work. As a woman, I have found it difficult to find contractors who are comfortable discussing project details, and respecting my opinion. Working with Allan Painting is the first time I have felt that my gender didn't affect our business.

I had the pleasure of working with Allan of Allan Painting. He quickly came out to meet me at my home and took his time evaluating the project. In two days i had my estimate in which i called to hire him (after i had received other estimates).The job was delayed at no fault of him. We had an extremely wet spring. one night Allan called me to tell me the crew was coming to power wash the next day and before i knew it the projectwas done!!! The crew showed up early every morning they all were pleasant, friendly, professional and HARD WORKING. Allan painting and crew made this experience wonderful to deal with, we will use them again and would highly recommend them. PS the crew surprised and also painted my window boxes before they reattached them to my house and added bonus and pleasant surprise ;) Our home looks beautiful.

It was an awesome experience! Allan and his crew showed up on time. Drop cloths were put over all floors and furniture. Allan and his foreman checked with me several times on the details. There was a crew of 5 painters, or as I should say, artists! The results were outstanding....ceilings and walls were perfect....no imperfections, no drips of paint. Where walls and ceilings meet, it was even all around. The crew was a very pleasant group of fellows. There seemed to be great rapport among them all. When they finished, all furniture was replaced, outlet plates were put back and the floors were cleaned. I am in awe that such beautiful work was completed in one day. I most certainly will contact Allan Painting again for any painting I need. I highly recommend Allan Painting to all.

He did an excellent job painting and selecting the paint colors. He was conscientious and would show me where he needed to make repairs for cracks on the ceiling. I had other contractors come out he was there to touch up the baseboards. He called and communicated very well with me to look over the work that was done and to meet up to look at it. He was very professional, careful, and customized the work for me. It was not an easy paint job. Its a big house with alot of elevated ceilings. The job included the whole house, basement, and garage.

We had hired Allan twice before for major projects (painting most of the exterior of our house, painting several of the interior rooms) and were very happy with the results and their service, so we decided to use them again for this smaller project. Allan and his crew came and did a great job again. They initially indicated it would take a couple of days, but they were done in a day and a half. They worked quickly and efficiently and kept the place very clean. Allan and his crew was very friendly and easy to deal with. The quality of the work was great, as always. We were very happy with the work and the attention to detail and would definitely recommend them and use them again.

They were professional and responded immediately to phone calls. It took a while to schedule the appointment due to poor availability on both ends. Very good preparation of the walls. They may be higher priced than others, but I was very pleased with the work.

After having had Allan Painting do some successful outdoor painting projects, we had them back to do some work indoors. The work included repairing and painting cracks, and priming and painting walls. It also included an extensive attic office project. Allan Painting did some drywall taping, prep and painting for us. The job looks great! We trusted Allan Painting to do the work while we were not at home, and they were extremely respectful of our property. Their work was excellent and they were very neat and tidy.

We had previously used Allan Painting to paint many of the interior rooms of our house and were very happy with their service, so when we decided to paint the exterior they were the obvious choice for us. Once again they did a great job and we would highly recommend them. The week before the painting began, they had a couple of people come over to power wash the outside of the house. Once the painting began, they had a crew of highly professional and easy to deal with painters at our house. Although the exterior of the house was generally in good shape, there were a few areas which required replacing some wood. We had expected that we might need to hire a carpenter to do this work prior to the painting, but Allan indicated that they did light carpentry and actually did a great job with all of the repairs. They then prepped and painted the exterior very quickly. At one point, after they put an initial coat of paint on near the entrance of the house, we decided the color didn't look right and they were happy to change the color. After finishing the exterior, they also did some interior painting including the garage and a closet. They kept the area very clean and were great to deal with. We think they did an excellent job and would use them again in the future.

Home, built in 2004, is vinyl sided but window boxes and trim are wood. The wood rotted due to weather. Allan Painting replaced wood with synthetic composite which will stand up to elements. Painting job was excellent. Crew was polite and explained all steps taken. They were very respectful of home and worked efficiently and neatly. Allan always responds promptly to inquiries and concerns via phone and email. Wood deck paint needed sanding and repainting, with damage coming from weathering and dogs' claws. Again, that job was done beautifully with two coats of stain.

Great! Easy from beginning to end.

The job started about a month later than originally estimated, but that was likely due to weather delays. Powerwashing happened on short notice, a couple weeks before the painting started. Once the paint job started, there was a lot of carpentry that needed to happen, removing and replacing rotten wood. There was also a lot of sanding and scraping, since it was way too long since the last time the house was painted. The house was primed and painted with a name brand paint, all brushwork (no sprayers), all in white (so no discussion about color schemes or matching). We are very happy that the carpenters were so thorough, since there is no use in painting rotten wood. This was the part that couldn't be estimated for ahead of time, but we feel that we got our money's worth. The painters were very polite in their requests for us to remove screens and open windows, and then to request that we open the windows that we forgot. They were also nice to our dogs. The job site was cleaned up at the end of every day, but there were a lot of old nails, new nails, and cut-off nail points found on the ground from the carpentry.

Called Allan in March 2012 for an estimate, he was very responsive, came to the house , and we had our estimate within a day. I called multiple references, and all gave Allan Painting high reviews. We felt very comfortable putting our house in their hands. Allan waited while we had a roof project started and finished in late August. When we were ready, we called, and he assured us the job was still on his schedule. His crew came Mid September. They were professional, friendly, and very neat. Our house has never looked better! I would highly recommend Allan Painting.

Allan is very professionalism and extremely responsive and helpful. His crew was extremely professional. They were great. They worked around our schedules and went out of their way to help preserve our landscaping including flowers. I would highly recommend them.

Mr. Allan came out. He was very pleasant and very thorough. He took measurements and walked around the house. He described what he would do. His quote was really unrealistic on the low side. He was responsive and did a good follow up.

Everything went great. When we called Allan for an estimate, he scheduled it with us right away and sent us his quote shortly after he did the estimate. We waited a few weeks, and then decided that we were ready to have the work done. When we called Allan he fit us into his schedule the following week. Allan and his crew showed up promptly at 7 am as scheduled all three days that they came to do the work. They did the work efficiently and were very respectful of our home while they were here. They told us to go about our business as normal and didn't mind us walking around the house while they were doing the work. We were very pleased with the final outcome and Allan even gave us some tips on some projects that we plan on doing ourselves. We would recommend Allan and his crew to anyone!

Allan did a great job. He quickly came to visit and provided a quote for the job. He also provided some good recommendations on some of the paints that we weren't sure about. His quote was not the absolute lowest , but it was good and we felt after meeting with him that he would do the best job for us, as he seemed the most knowledgeable and professional. We also liked the fact that he would personally be working on the painting and that he had a highly experienced team (some of the other painters we spoke to did not seem as professional and some used random contract painters). We believe that we definitely made the right decision. They started and finished the job on time. He and his team did an excellent job in painting the house. In addition to painting, they also made a number of minor repairs to the walls and did some caulking. They were also very good about keeping the place clean while they worked. The team was very professional. With previous painters we have used, there are typically certain areas that are not quite right (e.g., small amounts of wall paint on the trim, etc.), but despite this being a big job, we thought Allan and his team were very detailed oriented and everything looks good. Overall, we are very happy with the job they did and would highly recommend him to anyone and would use him again.

Our experience with Allan Painting was exceptional from start to finish. We will rehire this company for future work. The professionalism and skill spanned from Allan down through his entire staff. They were meticulous, respectful, friendly and very helpful, even when we sprung extra side projects on them without prior discussion. Their cost was neither the most expensive nor the cheapest when we solicited quotes.....but they delivered high-end performance. I would absolutely recommend getting a quote from Allen and hiring them. They delivered enough in "curb appeal" to make the investment well worthwhile. A+. My wife feels the same way too. People are still remarking how much better the house looks now and this job was completed last summer.

Allan was extremely responsive. He responded promptly for my request for an estimate. He scheduled the job promptly. The charge was exactly per the estimate. The work was done meticulously. The job site was left in perfect order. I would definitely use him again.
